Wait a minute...blueberries are ripe in NY? Man our area is behind everybody, it seems! Weeks ago Peskie was eating tomatoes and blackberries. We won't have those for another month or more. We usually pick blueberries at the end of August or beginning of September.

Thanks for your reply. I'm so used to weight going down during induction that it's freaking me out a little.

That sounds good. Or there's the idea of it always raining at night. Close to midnight, so that the ground isn't wet and icky in the morning.

I have lots of water retention. If this is going to happen everytime that I exercise, I don't want to exercise. My jeans don't fit! That's nuts!

I LOVE doing it. Unfortunately she is not ready to do anything about it though. Her expenses are equal and/over what her income is and that's why she keeps charging. Like a lot of people it's a lose-lose situation and although they hate it don't want to cut down on stuff they could. Sigh. Anyway seeing it in black and white will perhaps help her. Sigh.

I hope that it does. That's why I always want to get rid of our cell phones and internet. I pay the bills and I see this huge chunk of money going for...convenience. Not a fan.

I measured my salad, and entered all of my foods into ******. I figured that if I'm going to get annoyed at exercising, I should be sure that THAT's the cause. I am so smart.

Oh, and those sausage-type hot dogs that I had the other day have almost 2 carbs each and I had 4, so that was 8 carbs, plus I had vegetables. Checking on ******, I did have more carbs than I have previously been able to eat and still lose weight. But I was still in ketosis, so I'm confused.

I LOVE my cell phone and internet. Cable I could do without probably. BUT I had to sign a contract for 2 years. I do have an alarm system too. Hopefully I can manage well enough and not have to do any of that. I do not eat out often. That saves a lot of money. My friend last night found that she was spending over $250 going out to eat just for herself. She goes out almost every day at work. She also keeps using her credit card and her minimum payment is $350 a month. So like I said it's a vicious cycle until she decided to get rid of her cards and cut some expenses.

Went to my DSD birthday cookout. Found out why they always have it while DH is at work. They never WANTED him to come. He called to get together with them tonight and his youngest son refuses to be seen out with him because of a scene he made once before when we all got together. It was terrible, just terrible. So they are going to make him come to one of their houses.

I couldn't get rid of my internet or phone, it's a luxury, sure, but it's well worth it to me. I'd spend money on some form of entertainment to replace it. For the entertainment I get from those, it's worth the money.

I totally get what you're saying though Wendy.

When I see customers really struggling and saying they don't have the money to pay their bills and I see excessive "luxury" items on their budget, I just don't get why people can't see thats a logical place to make a cut if you need to.

I'd make the cut if I had to, but yeah, I wouldn't be happy with it. lol

I know. Been there. Guess that's why I love helping people. And it's really so easy to do the budget. I make it VERY easy for them, as easy as it could possibly be. They just don't want to do it. Well you know!

I think more people get into that than not

Really, when our government is such a role model for debt, it's not surprising

Well, normally, I'd agree, but during the first week of induction? I should not gain; I SHOULD lose.

I always gain during week 1, it's a week of low carb, high fat while you still have carbs from the prior week that haven't flushed out yet.

It never occurred to me that I should lose the first week
