Wow! We are rocking it out ladies! Congrats!

My stats:tightest measurements last week
Under bust 34.5
Waist 35
Hips 41

Today 7 days later:
Under bust 33
Waist 34.5
Hips 37

-1 1/2
-1/2
-4

So excited! I have my first swimsuit in 8 years picked out for my fall vacation! I look at the pic every day and "see myself" in it.

MsWoods, Ooh I love clothing shopping. I'm still straddling size 14/12 thanks to my waistline and large bust. My suggestions are catos and kohls at size 16. Lots of options that are trendy and fun for summer. I think it really makes an impact to have clothes you feel good in even as you are losing weight. It is worth that little investment.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Shopping for new clothes (in your amazing new size) is totally awesome. I live in Canada so sadly I can't recommend any stores but I'm sure a lot of them carry size 16. Yay! In a way that's even better than just a new number on the scale...

OMG this week my husband brought home dark chocolate caramel Magnum Ice Cream bars and I resisted! Devil on my shoulder was whispering...it's just one and I can burn it off on the treadmill in an hour and then I'll get right back to low carbing. I know myself and that would have put me in a tailspin

What is everyone's go-to snack when serious temptation arises? I nuked calorie countdown chocolate milk with a pc of lindt dark and topped with whipped cream

Unsweetened lindt with splenda, butter and HWC added to your taste, a tbs of peanut butter.. or some cream cheese mixed with splenda and HWC.. the longer I am on LC and in control.. I need a sweet fix less and less.. which makes me a happy girl!

Just finished some yard work.. so exhausted.. this 100+ heat is ridiculous! Hope you are all having a great day!

Peaceful - I can usually satisfy my sweet tooth with a spoonful of peanut butter, low carb ice-cream, or a sf candy. If I feel like baking, I like the pumpkin bake on Linda Sue's site.

Michelle - I'm so happy for you!!! Wearing regular sizes is such an accomplishment. I cannot wait!! I'm not 100% sure where to shop either. Some stores like gap and old navy def carry 16s in store, but some others only carry them online. I'd prob try gap first and dept stores. My dream is Ann Taylor. I just got to 0x, which is such a bizarre size.

Happy Monday!

Welcome to all the new faces!

Congrats to everyone on the Holiday Victories!

I really hate the first day back to work after vacation, like really, really hate it. I am one of those crazy people that love their job, but today was a nightmare! The best day to start back to low carb.

Back to low carb? What? Yes, I totally went overboard with the carbs this past weekend, mostly in the form of alcohol. But I jumped right back in today, and had a pretty good eating day. And resisted the urge to pour myself a bottle of wine after work...

So, back to the 230s. Hopefully not for long!

My goal this week: 226.

Have a great week!

MsWoods, I agree with the Cato suggestion...also, try Target and New York & Co. (usually have good sales too!). Congrats on the smaller size!

Welcome to the new ladies.

Bounce, bounce, bounce... I am back up to 206.4 today.
I'm pretty sure its from dinner again... Made a mexican bake dish with refried beans, and had a 2nd piece when I know better. And I'm taking leftovers for lunch... Hoping I'm not up more tomorrow!

Monica, I'm so sorry about your neck! Ugh. I hate back & neck pain. Neck pain is the worst! Any chance you can take it easy today & sleep through most of your fasting? lol

Me, too, Zipp. I hurt myself on a DD, two days ago. See, it seemed like a good idea to climb on a structure that I knew wasn't all that sound...and boom! Down I went. Got skinned up pretty good, twinged my back, bruises, etc.

The "office manager" that lives inside my body said, "Sorry about your DD plans, old girl, but we're needing some protein right now. Lots of work to do this afternoon, repairing skin and ligaments and muscles and whatnot."

"But it's a DD. It's halfway through."

"Are we going to have a problem? I can make you eat, you know."

"Right. Tuna salad sound okay?"

"Perfect."

So my DD plans were blown, but I felt really better after I ate the tuna. I was thinking...so what's going to happen tomorrow, then? Is it going to be UD every day forever?

But the next morning the "office manager" inside said, "Thanks for listening yesterday, and we'd like a DD now." And that's how it went. I actually wanted and craved a DD. (Weird for a lifetime carb addict to experience.) DD was unusually easy yesterday, too. And now? Right back on track.

I healed really fast, also. I'm practically back to normal today, two days later. That's not normal for me.

So...

I hope you feel better soon, Zipp. Your inner "office manager" will steer you in the right direction for quick healing, whichever direction that might be at the moment; up or down. Just another benefit of JUDDD.

Lynne

P.S. I wonder why so many of us are both obviously dehydrated AND not wanting to drink our water? What a weird thing, and what's up with that? Are we trying to conserve our salt?

P.S.S. Scale said 178 today.

hello everyone! 210 this morning! yay!! got a lot of weed pulling, digging, rose destroying, crab grass pulling done yesterday.. and to prove it, I have a thorn in my thumb, a bug bite on my pinky, a sticker of some type in my foot and scratches all over.. I guess the shorts and flip flops sans gloves was not the best idea.. but I love playing in the dirt! Ever since dh has began working nights our yard was starting to look like "that yard" on the block! although he does keep the lawn up, the flower beds are somehow my job.. lol! and since I am now unemployed.. I guess I can't argue!

Yesterdays food:
B: Sausage patty, bite of egg
L: Salami and Sharp Cheddar Cheese
D: Chicken with cream cheese herb/garlic rolled inside
Water..Water and Water and some Pink Lemonade Crystal lite

Stil not done beautifying my flower beds.. but it is going to be 104 today.. so we wil see how much I get done..

See ya..

Lynne - my inner "office manager" told me to eat at 10:00 a.m. even though I like to wait longer. I actually feel much better now. I had my cottage cheese/strawberries! I can't get over how improve my tummy AND neck feel now just after eating! I think I will be fine now till lunch, if I am hungry then, small salad will do!

I'm here! July is not being nice to me so I'm just ignoring it in favor of august. Weight will not go down lately but I'm sure it has to do with the heat and my over indulgences on vacation. Just annoyed right now.

Jcwanna be you are amazing! 6 lbs in 10 days! Wow!

Love the new pic, Elise!

Monica, so glad the neck is a bit better! Yay for DH!!! That's awesome!

Love the NSV Peacefulguide!

Scale finally moved a pound for me... this time around is so weird with the long holding patterns. I am feeling great and eating well. It's a bit frustrating that it's so difficult to set and hit goals, but I'm basically at peace with the slow loss. I finish out the month of July with two out of town trips, one this weekend -leaving tomorrow & one in a couple of weeks. I will stay on plan, but I'm just going to let my body do it's thing for now and then think about making changes in August.

Hang in there everyone! I may not be able to check in tomorrow morning so everyone have a fantastic weekend!!!

Monk, your food sounds great! I'm coming to your house for breakfast. Congratulations on your new decade!!

Misscobi, Brewstate, I hear you about the slow loss in July. Me too. August will be better days for all of us.

Zipp, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better! I'm very impressed you drank 40 oz of water so early in the morning, I must get on board that train. Your DH is rocking JUDDD!!

Peaceful, that's awesome!! It's going to be so weird when those tight pants are so loose they're hanging off you, huh...we'll all be celebrating with you.

And JC, Wow!! 6 pounds in 10 days!! You are really taking charge!!

Bronwyn, Outofseason, Boop...didn't mean to forget you yesterday. Hang in there!! How's JUDDD treating you, Bronwyn?

Me...

The soreness has set in from the injury the other day, but it sure could be worse. Healing.

I've been doing JUDDD almost 3 weeks now, and not much weight loss to show for it...but I do feel like I'm finally "getting it". The "magic" has finally kicked in, and it's easy and natural now. I must say it took me a good minute to figure it out, though. I must be slow.

Must. Drink. More. Water. Think I'll get me some crystal light, like Monk.

Peace everybody!! Have a good day!!

Lynne
