Good going laura! I use to add that coconut oil to my coffee, linda suggested that to me and its good. Really you cant even taste it in your coffee....But it makes your lips soft.

Jo wtg fantastic

For this month, I'm sticking to LC with no slip ups. I finally came to realize all the plans I keep swapping to are just causing constant restarts with no results. After reading my old journal and got to goal the 1st time I stayed strong and would give in for nothing. Jo's so right it takes to long to recover after falling back.

Mel I'm going for 5 lbs too. I know it totally doable if I stick to my plan and give it a chance.

Hi, hi--another very quick update. Had my MRI follow-up this morning and am having a quick outpt surgery on the 21st--he's going to scope the knee and see what all's going on. MRI doesn't show a tear but does show a bunch of arthritis under/behind the kneecap. So he's going to see What Else Is There and if he sees anything easy he can fix, he will. Otherwise, we'll talk later.

OK--I am waaay behind and must leave a few min early today to get dd to dance (this is tech week, recital FR). I WILL CHECK IN later.
__________________

I forgot it was May and posted this under the April thread, so cut/pasted. I don't mind surgery--have had so many. As long as they fix me!

Laura, I use coco oil a lot to cook and bake. Not sure it helps me lose wt, but I do believe it's very healthful.

Goal--well, my goal would be to get back in gear and quit pigging out! This weekend is the thing in KY for my ils, so meals out again about 4x. The following weekend, Mother's Day, is also my 20th anniversary. We really don't do gifts but we DO go out. I dunno. I want to try to cut out the carbs again and read up on the JUDDD. Mel, you sound really organized and committed--need to take a page from your book.

Jo, you are doing WELL! So proud of you!!!! I'm prolly back up to the 190s, given all I've eaten lately.

Downstairs right now this minute is a baby shower--I sneaked up here to do some work, but here I am! Will go back in a minute to see gifts but I was out this am for the appt and need to leave 10 min early, so want to get stuff done.

Who asked if the deer were pretty? Misty, was that you? NOOOOO, we don't feed them--at least, not intentionally. I mean truly--they decimate the yard. There is very little they won't eat so my shrubs and plantings look AWFUL. Maybe next year if bills are under control we can tear stuff out and plant something they won't eat--something like firethorn (!) or yew. The most we've seen IN our yard is 10! There's one spot where they like to sleep, even. But yes, they ARE pretty and we do always run to look--even after almost 20 years here!

Linda...on the beach...happy sigh...I'm thinking of you!

Gab, I've lost track--did you get the microwave yet???

Got to go downstairs and see gifts opened. Later!!!

Mel my goals for this month is no messing up and keep doing what I am doing..Its working.
I should be at goal this year if I dont mess up.
Good for you working out. I want to but waiting for my back to let me.
Five lbs you can do it!

laura yaya stay focused! You'll make it there to your goal!
I am excited I have been lcing induction w/no avail...Linda turned me onto JUDDD and I found that it works for me lc style. I am elated!

Misty you can do it too! Yup yup w/the recovers....I think your getting bored with a certain WOE and its making you wanting to change it up..
You can do it w/5lbs!

Tori no more pigging out! Summer time is here its going to be warmer we will all be eating less..Unless if your in the colder climate area.
Do read up on JUDDD I love it!
When I get closer to goal I will add tid bits of things in my WOE like one slice of bread for eggs in the morning, or a bowl of oatmeal...(I'll steer away from lc to get my body use to other foods)
This is a new month new start you can do it!!
I wish I had the deer prob instead of the cow problem they both seem to fall hand in hand w/tearing stuff up..
Oh yea mothers day is coming up - will have to plan a bbq I hope its on my UD.

Good morning. Slept late, AGAIN! We are sooo sleep deprived from last week.

Weight is bad bad bad. Stress is NOT my friend. I ate less last week than I have in a LONG time and I gained 7 POUNDS!!! Heat, sitting alllllll day and not enough water are also contributors. I am down 2 pounds since being home and drinking LOTS! Going to start walking again today.

So, offical weigh in on May 1st is 115.2. Ugh, I have 5 pounds to lose! It took me 3-4 months to lose that last time.

Raining all day today, so I cooked a bit. Made deviled eggs, eggs salad, and tuna salad. Need things on han for when I'm hungry. Trying a sausage cassarole for dinner, ate it at a friends house and it was pretty good. We'll see how it comes out when I make it.

Mel I figured BL would be the normal 2 hours for the end. Strange show this time.

Heather glad your getting caught up on your sleep. I'm sure you'll get your gained weight off in know time. It's hard when your under so much stress. It's a new month so we'll all do this together.

Misty, you are so encouraging!

I have a bit of steak I brought so am going down to eat that right now. And some celery.

Gab--FIVE months? Really? So fast? Hey--have you seen a newborn recently? I bet Sam looks huge next to a newbie.

Misty your deviled eggs made me think to mention my pickled eggs I am doing today for a quick grab snack.
Mel your funny, you met your goal already I like those kind of goals!!
Heather you'll get back to normal in no time. It was a stressful event so of course you would pound water weight..

Jo I totally forgot about pickled eggs. I haven't made those in years. And I love them. That's going on the top of my list. I like mine on the spicy side. Sometimes do hot dogs or kielbsa too. Great for picnic and cookouts.

Tori as long as I have something that I can eat right away when I'm hungry, I do ok. I eat alot of celery too. If I get a sweet tooth. I stuff celery with CC and sprinkle with cinn. and sugar. I use splenda or brown sugar twin.

Mel I bet BL is shorter show because remember they said last week all the walked out couldn't participate no matter how much they lost.

Never have tried pickled eggs ....... are they really good ?

Mel, come on over and instead of a cloud, a giant mosquito will try to carry you away ... they are HUGE..

Misty I do the same thing. Keep all kinds of snacks around and at work so I'm not so tempted.... when you are super hungry, you are liable to eat anything !! ( At least I am )

Heather glad you are home and getting some rest !
Linda sounds super fun ! Enjoy ! Can you upload pics ?
Tori still busy I see....
Lory how are you doing today ??
Gab I can't believe how quickly babies grow ! He is such a cutie

Wish I was out on the boat, doesn't seem as windy today... course now I gotta go to work.

Just made another batch of the southwestern soup using leftover turkey ( white meat )
looks yum..... hope it's as good as the other one !

Me again!

I am leaving here just a tad early so I can get dh, then swoop home for dd, and then get her to rehearsal on time.

My steak bit was yummy and I'm going for the celery now. I'll be waiting for dd for a couple of hours and don't want to be hungry all that time.

Pickled eggs...ugh. But I can't eat deviled ones either--that white stuff, ya know!

Going for my celery and not sure what's happening tonight after I get back--depends on how late it is. But I'll check in tomorrow if I don't talk to you all again tonight.
