Happy Mothers Day everyone!

I have a roast in the crock pot and called my mom already. Dad is taking her out to the golf club for brunch which should be very nice.

I have lots planned around the house today - work out, ironing, change purses, maybe a little more cooking for the week, monthly cat box scrubbing (FunFun).

Razzoo got sick yesterday and last night so I hope she'll have a better day today.

What's everyone up to today - lots of celebrations I guess?

Nothing much here...... Both sons occupied - DS1 with DIL's family. DS2 with Gf's family -- DH will cook some steaks.

I treated myself last night for Mother's Day...

After dinner with MIL and DH, I opted out of that movie Avengers while they went and I went to the Mall looking for that Delicious Cotton Candy perfume but no store had it. Then I bought a cute black leather pair of sandals instead and then went into Victoria Secret and got a replacement perfume "Love Spell" which I had years ago and got compliments on it. Came home and went online and bought the Prince Matchabelli's Cotton Candy. It was cheaper and got higher reviews. I'm now all set with my perfumes for a while now.

My vegan daughter is making me a Carribbean dinner tonight. I hope she uses real meat. Jerk soy patties?

Linda - I love perfume too. It's a bummer but don't wear it to work much because I worry about it being too strong and offending someone. We often work in close proximity in the warehouse. So for work days I end to use those bath and body works mists..they are pretty light. But on weekends I like to wear Halston which DH likes and also Philosophy's Falling In Love and Pure Grace - the latter feels so clean in fresh in the hot summere here. I hope you enjoy your new ones. Oh ... I hope you enjoy the vegan dinner here..I'd be skeptical too but I'm sure she'll look out for ya !

Today's food:

B: 2 whole grain waffles; 1 banana; 2 tsp pnut butter, sugar free maple syrup; 400 cals
L: Chef salad with bacon, boiled egg, ham, swiss, lettuce, tomato and caesar dressing 381 cals
D: Either hot dogs on the grill or stir fry

Did a 3 mile workout with 2 and 3 lb hand weights - just over 300 calories so I can have a couple glasses of wine later.

Change of plans. DH called his Mother to take her out to eat lunch and she wants to go to supper. So I will visit Dad while they go eat, .......

DS1 and wife want us to go out on boat tomorrow, so we'll grill the steaks when we get home.

Tummy ache, guess cheating the last 2 days wasn't so great after all, drinking lemon water and NOT gonna eat carbs the rest of day..... I was giving myself free reign for 3 day weekend but I've had enough

Well, decided not to go out on boat, DIL cancelled, windy, ...... will go next week. Gonna keep my niece and nephew for a few days and we promised them we would go out on boat. Guys left out - they will fish.

Ate clean after breakfast yesterday but still had tummy ache until last night. BAD, bad carbs ....;/ Did it to myself !

Made some tuna and chopped up some summer sausage and mont-jack cheese for snacks.

no, I meant tunafish ! Sorry..... I tried grilled tuna once and it tasted really strong, so I have never made it either.

DH and I are going to see avengers today so Sam gets some more Grandma time. Looking like rain here soon.

SS to be MIA but major problems here. I'll try to explain. Last Saturday a huge tractortrailer tried to go around the lake a make a delivery somewhere there. I guess he wasn't paying attention to the wires and got hooked on them. He was lucky he didn't get killed the first phone pole came down right between the cab of the truck and the box. But when that came down it caused my phone pole in front of my cottage to split in half and when the wires got tight it took off the corner peek of my cottage and all the wires with it. Then no power of any kind. And then the fight begins whos going to pay for all the damage to my cottage.Not my insurance. They still have all the wires coming into my house mickey moused just to give uspower. Then to top it off I ended up getting a bad case of hives from nerves. Oh and to top it off I lost my cell phone somewhere out side. DS1 got me a new one for Mothers Day. SS to vent but I just needed it. And I missed everyone. I know it'll take me awhile to catch up. Hope all is well with everyone and that you all had a great Mothers Day.

Gab was thinking about you, being that it's your 1st Mothers Day.

I had a nice day my little son bought me a necklace and the older son brought me some potted flowers and we then had a nice family get-together for dinner.

I went and spent to much money on groc's Saturday and bought me some Highlights for my hair to do today.
A new top and another brown pair of capri's cause my other pair have bleach spatters on them.

Misty: Glad you & DH are ok but SS for your house damage. Sounds like a freak accident and sorry it had to affect you, DH and your house. I don't understand the fight. It seems like the truck company should be paying. A tractor trailer backed up into our store and damaged our roof and he tried to get away but a cop saw him and got him. The trucking company's insurance gave us a lot less than the cost to repair. I wish you luck in this.

Jo, I still have 8 more- which are boosts to just the former tumor location. I am blistering and peeling, going braless as much as possible to keep the moisture under control.

Mothers day was a good one here! My oldest and his wife sent me a beautiful flower arrangement. I actually got to talk to him last night..(he is deployed) was great to hear his tired voice!! We went on a motorcyce ride up in the mountains along a river in the pine trees! We shared a beautiful brunch with friends.. then came home and DH q'd some steaks.. they were so good. It was in teh 80's and so nice sitting on the deck watching the hummers and gold finches eating from the feeders. We had dinner on the deck and a purple throat hummer came to vist us.. My hubby was so freaked it came that close..lol I said that is normal for that one- he always comes to visit every year

I am 35% into Book 3 and I luv it. I could do without so much ice cream mentioned so often. I'm starting to get the urge to smoke after they're done

I can't wait to get the Cotton Candy one in the mail. I love Pink Sugar and Love Spell. Reminds me of 50 Shades..... and what Anatasia would wear for Christian. Very sensual - both of them. When I first wore the Love Spell from Victoria Secret, a gem seller that we knew well said I smelled good enough to eat. Whoooaaa! Recommended.

Glad you and DH got back on track and he bought you things and you got an apology too. Hard for men to apologize, I think so it's a gift as far as I"m concerned. I never hold a grudge if someone apologizes.

'k - I'll let you know when it comes in. For $12 - thought it was worth trying and the Mall did not have it.

I bought the Richard Simmons Foodmover (an updated version of Deal a Meal) on Saturday. I thought it might compliment my watching calories woe and give me a structure for getting the right balance of foods. That is in the mail too. I bought the cookbook too for less than $20.
