I tend to skip BF if trying to lose weight...............DD20 is studying for health/exercise in college, and I got chewed out for skipping. She insists I need to eat BF. Have to figure that into the scenario.................

My mom skips too and I get on her about that...haha. I love breakfast, it's my favorite meal. I would be okay if I could get my night time snacking under control! So far, so good today.

Today was kind of a blur, but I did walk for 30 mins and drank a lot of water. I'm going to weigh in next Monday. Hopefully I will start to see some good progress!

Oops, I forgot to mention that I got offered the job I interviewed for last month! I'm so excited, but very nervous! I haven't worked in many years. I will be able to work from home though, so that is good. I have to go for training about 2-1/2 hours away for a week. I've never left my kids before I'm sad but a little excited to have some peace...ha.

I won't write down yesterday's food, but I will admit to the only bad habit was salted almonds for an afternoon snack, and I probably had at least 2 servings. But the crunchy was what I was after

That is definitely a big step! I honestly don't think I could - great job!!

Oh, thanks!! I'll be doing data entry for a toxicology lab.

Today's menu:

B - 2 waffles with sugar free syrup and 3 turkey sausage links
L - Ham sandwich on rye and some pineapple and blueberries.
S - An "Everything" bagel
D - Probably something easy like a lean cuisine.

So that is all in my calorie range. If I can stop myself from snacking tonight, I'll be good I will probably be back posting tonight to distract myself...haha.

Not too well either. I started my new job a couple of weeks ago and have been focused on that and the kids. My diet has taken a back seat unfortunately. My goal for August is to not gain weight, which would be pretty good for me...LOL. Then when the school starts back up, I think it will be easier to really focus on losing weight again.

We'll get the hang of this losing weight thing one day, right?! haha

I am setting goal at one lb per week for rest of year. I may have to fast one day this week to get started but sick of tight jeans.

Anyone want to join me?

I bet! Hopefully it will get better. It was a huge adjustment for me just starting back part time after not working for so long.

The hours vary but usually 30ish. It's crazy right now with the kids home, but hopefully it will get easier when school starts back up. The nice part is that I don't snack as much throughout the day now though

Yes, I will! That is very reasonable...just wish I would have done that from the beginning

I'm going to stick to watching my calories and cutting back on sugary/processed foods. I weighed in Sunday at 195, which is where I've been for the past couple of weeks.

I have got to quit eating!!! But stress and chocolate!!

Definitely have lowered my carbs last 2 days. Actually almost back to stomach acid couple of days ago. Haven't had that since 2008.....

I am still going for 1# per week. Just have to have a couple weeks with 2# because of slow start!!

I'm starting again today for the umpteenth time, at least I keep trying, right?! I went grocery shopping yesterday and got everything I need for the week. All I have to do is follow the plan and ignore all the halloween candy sitting on our counter

Oh good, so I wasn't the only one that was lost for awhile!

What else is new with you guys??? Since none of us hit our goal while away!

I have been working like a fool, this full time is for the birds!! My morning is awful. My husband needs to be woke up at 3:30-4, then oldest DD at 6:30, take her to school at 7:30. Wake youngest DD up at 7-7:30 and take her to school at 8:30, I start work at 9. I am pooped before I even start the day!!! I would bet if I just plowed through and started working out I would have more energy but right now I get home, make dinner, eat, sit and don't get back up Have been taking nice walks on weekends though...that should count for something

Lotus - Whew...I'm tired for you just by reading that! I don't blame you, I'd be done after dinner as well. Heck, I'm like that now with just working part time.

Karen - I bet you are ready for things to slow down, hopefully you'll be able to relax a bit more now.

Not too much is new with me, just work and kids. Is it bad that it's not even 8pm and I'm ready for bed? LOL. Oh the exciting life I lead

Never knock that kind of exciting. Quiet and peaceful is to be enjoyed!!

Church supper and auction tomorrow night.........fun way to make church contribution for the year. And occasionally a really good Christmas present. couple times I have bought something for Mom to give me for Xmas.....

But know supper will be ham and/or turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, scalloped corn, roll, choice of jello or macaroni or potato salad and dessert............. But working drink section and helping tear down, so I will enjoy it and worry Thursday about food...........

Heck no, 8 is totally acceptable to be ready to throw in the towel for the night! Pathetic...yes, but acceptable!

Well Karen, you always get what ya want right!?! Do you just give it to her to wrap for you??

Took a walk tonight, decided to take all the dogs so it was a tad stressful but we all made it Only about 20 minutes but I was getting annoyed by the boys wanting to pee on every tree so we didn't go too long!
