Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go for 4x per week and actually succeed, and that is way better than a goal one knows cannot be maintained(personal experience there)

I did 5 pushups and 20 squats on Monday, but those best=made plans.................forgot all about them yesterday

But my scale was 181 before my shower, and I am writing it down!!! (After my shower, it said 182, but I am going with the lower number)

Everyone must be as busy as me. Not much posting on the lists I am on. Glad you checked in!!!!!!!!! I was feeling lonely....

Well clearly you have extremely heavy water to be a pound heavier after!


Well my good intentions went out the window too! Actually I got up to do the walk and then remembered I can't wash my hair this am because I just had it colored so I will do my walk tonight so I can shower after. Oh well...have to do what ya can!


I am down another 1 today! Blasted low carbing! It does work for awhile and gets me all excited and then I can't keep at that pace. Stayed around 30 g of carbs like I had planned.

DH had the flu this morning, and he managed to share. I came home at 5 and went straight to bed. Got sick about 9. Thank goodness my son took my 5 oclock appt. Midnight and up to drinking sprite. See how tomorrow goes. Have 7 clients, so gonna go back to bed soon and try to sleep.

Karen - Oh no! Hope you feel better soon. That flu is nasty

Lotus - Woohooo!!! Great job I've been trying to walk 4 to 5 days a week too. I can't wait till it's a little warmer and can go outside.

I had a so-so week. I walked everyday but didn't watch what I ate as closely as I should have. At least I kept the exercise up...haha. TOM made an early appearance, so I'm going to stay off the scale this week! Learned my lesson last time...lol.

We got a crap load of snow! Gauging by my dogs it seems to be Basset Hound height. Its over a Shih Tzu and halfway up a Labrador


So I am going to go and SHOVEL We have a snowblower but I am TOTALLY counting that as a serious work out!

Hope you don't get completely snowed under I am feeling better. I put in a full day, but did rest for 20 minutes over lunch.
Just did one client tonight, plus partnership for DH and his brother. Will review it in the morning......

Going to go watch TV and drink diet pop. Dehydrated after yesterday, but Pepsi tastes the best. And veg beef soup will up my salt (and weight) tomorrow, but I didn't eat anything from noon yesterday til noon today, so figure it is ok......

hi gals!


How did everyone fare after yesterday. I can't be the only one who caved! Well hopefully you guys were stronger than me!


So after cooking for the bridal shower, then eating, we went for mexican one night, and then valentines candy splurge I am no worse for the wear! Happy about that! Glad to be back to normal now though!!!


diet coke has been sneaking back in this week too and I feel the effects of it. Have to watch that! Not terribly concerned if its once or twice a week but with all that was goin on this last week I am fairly certain it was every day. Now I feel really stiff and my joints hurt. Not enough water and I feel that way.

181.5 today. And diet pop sneaking back here, too. Evil stuff!!

But survived the flu, and the scale didn't jump up after I felt better, so guess I have been behaving.

Chili tonight, so tomorrow probably will show it.

I was fully expecting and hoping to see 189.8 since I've been 190 for the last few days. I have been so good with my diet and was all excited. Nope....190.8! Ahhhhhhhhhh It's like the scale knew. Stupid scale LOL

Those 180s will be coming. Don't give up hope....

I would say go get a handgun and shoot the durn scale!! but that may not be politically correct anymore.......

so go throw it off a cliff??????

I haven't been real strict on diet this weekend, but when I stepped on the scale tonight, it didn't ruin my day. I only record my morning weights, so I have hope!!!!

I may get to the 170s again, yet!!

Believe me, I've thought about shooting it

Yeah, I only do morning weigh ins too. Too many weight fluctuations through out the day.

Woohooo! You're almost to the 170s, you can do it! Hopefully I'll see the 180s sometime this month

Ok, so first weigh in was this morning for TOPS. They *said* I weighed 217


I think this will be good for me, public humiliation is always very effective! And soooo much cheaper than weight watchers.

Look to see if there is a TOPS club near you. Its $28 for the year and $4 a month! The one I am going to is held is a senior section of our community center And then there is me

That's a good deal! I just checked and my local one is at a retirement home. I'm sensing a theme here...lol. It's okay with me though I'll email the lady just to make sure it's open to the public. So funny

I don't remember where I posted this, but I was telling someone about the meeting. They were talking about super foods and almond butter was on the list. The oldies were soooo confused I tried and tired to get them to understand wasn't happening. Mango was another one. They were going round and round about that! But for the price I will deal with some senior moments!

Great job Karen! I don't think I could even do a plank!

I weighed in today and yep, still 190 I'm pretty convinced my scale doesn't go below that number now! I think I'll just skip the next few days and try not to think about it...LOL. I've got to be making progress, I'm eating on plan. Hopefully it's just a fluke!
