2 days of restaurants, and tomorrow will be another. Trying for damage control, and worry about scale next week........there always seems to be another week, and there is a point where added stress from eating would be worse than 1 lb......

Ended up at 185.5. I haven't set a goal yet. I hadn't been able to decide if I want it hard to reach, or something I know I could reach.

I am going with 170. Should be doable, but not easy in my life.

What is the plan??????? It always makes me more accountable if I admit to my plan.

I am sticking with CAD for another six months. I am down about 1 lb per month since I have been staying on plan. If I could be into the 170s by the end of tax season----that would be a miracle.

Thats why I bought Atkins shakes today. That gives me BF for 3-4 mornings, and eggs or bacon on the others. I did get 3 lb bacon today too, so I can do 4 slices and tea or diet pop for a breakfast.
But I am also trying to quit diet pop. Only had 2 since Dec 31st... It hasn't been as tough as I thought, but scale hasn't gone down with the change.

What is the lc soup? I haven't been able to come up with one. A fairly LC chili, but nothing else. Was thinking of trying a wild rice soup made with almond flour.......

Another thing I notice is that I am actually quenching my thirst. Over the holidays I had pop and went right back to being constantly thirsty! Weird!

They say its a diuretic but when your drinking it all the time you don't notice.

I am finding out that it isn't as hard to pass up pop as I thought it would be. (Except the tea at Long John Silvers was awful today so I refilled with diet pepsi)

Hey... what an exhausting week! My son broke his thumb and my sweet 1 year old has turned into a teething monster...poor girl

Lotus - I'm right there with you, my weight crept up over the holidays...ugh. I've been up and down since the new year. Trying to watch my sodium more now.

Karen - How are the Atkins shakes? I've been tempted to try them.

They were on sale at Walmart..........about $1 per shake. And I can easily spend more than that on other food. 6 strips of bacon, for example.
So I compare them to other shakes. The chocolates I can drink easily. don't have to choke them down. And I am losing a little again, if I have those to fill in gaps when life doesn't give me time to plan (or execute the plan)
