I am stiff and sore from 2 days of riding. Last horse show of the year, and I no road trips planned for this weekend!!! YEAH!!! Ready for nice quiet weekend to catch up on things (like laundry, vacuuming and my desk at home is 6 inches deep in paper----and it is a HUGE desk!!)

Hope you enjoyed Mexican. You deserved it. I just broke down and scheduled a full physical for next Wednesday. Haven't had one for several years, so I quess I will see what they tell me......................other than I need to lose 15 lbs......

Um....yeah 6 inches of paperwork does not sound fun at all!!!! Maybe we can 15:15 this weekend and get some stuff done!!!

It has actually started raining here some, so everyone is breathing a little easier here. The soybeans are all out, and waiting on corn. Calves are weaned. Office work, I am down to those "ugly" projects that need finished up before busy season starts. Tax school in two weeks, and then on to busy season.

GS is just starting to walk, and my parents are holding their own. A local bank president just resigned unexpectedly, so getting several calls to become trustee of small trusts and to act as Power of Attorney for some elderly people. .......... Never seems to slow down much, but the stress level is as low now as ever each year.

The scale is holding steady, and I am staying on plan. Not Trying for any drastic loss, so I am okay with this. My clothes are fitting better and the belly has shrunk.

How about you?

So you probably said this before but I have terribly memory! Do you have a whole farm? I guess I thought you just had the horses.

Must be a small town you are in though huh? If the Bank manager leaving is causing such an upset! What are you going to do? Going to take on all those extra projects?

We don't have anything going on and at the same time everything ya know?

Nothing exciting but busy all the time.

My project for the next few days is to see about getting my Grandma a cat. Her 16 year old cat ran away. Bolted out the door on her. I am assuming to find a place to die. Its been a month now and she is sooo broken hearted!

Sorry about the cat-thing. That is tough. But sounds like you are probably right on what happened. They do that.

We have 500 acres with my parents. 9 horses, 80 head of cow/calf and feed out the offspring to nice, tasty all-natural beef.........

Anymore, can't support 2 families on 500 acres, so I work as accountant and we have 2 towtrucks for added variety to farming.........

Every day is the same old, same old, but no two days are the same, and never go according to the schedules DH and I start with each day....Get up every morning and see what flared up overnight that needs to be dealt with

Mom and Dad can't do much anymore. We hired a cousin to help, since I have become office-bound with new business and responsibilities. But it is a lot of hours every day and no days off.....

I have a terrible time with my Mother not listening when I tell her I am not eating whatever she is cooking. And then she gets huffy or hurt. Don't know which way is worse.....

I used to get offended, I still get shocked on occasion, but then I figured that since she is my Mom she feels she has liberties that nobody else would. I don't know! Anyway thats how I justify the rudeness in my brain

Go buy extra candy (make sure some is Sugar-free) and then you will HAVE to eat a few leftovers!!!!!

SIL just got hired as Chief of Police in nearby town---2 weeks to get out of current job and lots of other things. 60 days to find a house and move...

So Halloween probably just GS. And he will get his evening yogurt and maybe some ice cream. Out here in the country, we don't get trick or treaters.........no kids in the neighborhood.

The scale isn't moving much for me, but the body mass is definitely shifting. I am going to stick real hard to only 1 coffee OR diet pop each day. I seem to be unwilling to stick to None of those, so I will modify and stick to this for a month and The scale isn't see if that helps with the scale.

GS is 1 yr old. See if Mom dresses him up.......

DD has been renting now, so finding a place to rent, DD isn't too picky. But they have 2 dogs, and they wont part with those dogs!!

But young and not married long. We can get the friends and trailers together and move pretty fast. Just have to have a destination. And only 20 miles from us again, but in a different direction. Just glad he found a job in law enforcement again. Had a raw deal, with local chief canning him when found out he had applied for a deputy sheriff position in the county. And then the others just saw that he got canned, and didn't know the chief and history. Think it is the right move for them, even if money is a little less than factory (union job).

We had a good Halloween. The girls decided to go roller skating for the first part of the night, then trick-or-treating for only about 30 minutes. Worked out great though and not too much candy! That means I can't steal any or they will notice

Thinking of doing 2 weeks of induction just to get a fresh start. I really like atkins but find it hard to do (shh don't repeat that) The die hards will have my head! I feel better on low carbs but not to the extreme. If I stay under 20 for long I get lightheaded. About a month is as long as I can do.

I need to hit the store tonight and stock up on some things for lunches though. Its hard to eat good when at work. So easy to go grab junk food!

I did LC for almost 2 yrs......but don't care to stick with lc. I am doing CAD........So far, slow but I can work with it. But maybe I could see doing induction for a week to get the scale moving again....
