Ok ya'll I weighed in this morning I am up 2 but remember I skipped last week and was expecting this so onward from here!
Oh and co-worker brought me one of my beloved 7-11 big gulps of diet coke this morning. Haven't had one in probably a month I can't remember! Anyway it is !!!! NEVER thought I would utter those words!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() Yeah! I am truly off the coke!!!! |

I know how that goes, but at least you were prepared for it. You have the right attitude, keep it up!
for being off diet coke!!!! I wish I could say the same I'm still drinking 1 a day. I made it a couple days coke free, but picked it right back up. At least it's not the 3 or 4 I was drinking a day I don't even buy the cans anymore, just grab one at the check out lane :/ |

Hello ladies!
I am finally back from travelling with my mama. We had a great time I am recovering from a crazy up day of eating so will be weighing tomorrow after today's down day...I think I may be up 1lb this week but I am not worried because in a previous life I would have gained 5-6lbs travelling. Have to be very saintly now for the next little while though as we are leaving for vacation on 8 July ![]() Beachmom - congrats on your losses!! woohoo! I agree with summer being great but all the food is not exactly light...good for you though!!! Karen - no loss this week is still good, it means you're maintaining all of last week's hard work Lotus - Good for you for being "off the coke"! That is amazing! |

hey Rosehip!! Welcome back!!! Glad to hear you had a great time!!! Must be nice to have the mom everyone loves!! People run in fear of mine ![]() ![]() 1 lb is great! I agree! We have come so far I would have gained waaaayyyyy more than 2 in the last 2 weeks as well!Karen~I agree with Rosehip!!! While obviously a loss would be ideal every week, to not gain after a good week is just as good!!!! ![]() ![]() Plus arent you pretty close to goal??? |

I realized I haven't made any mini goals this week! Not that I always hit them but at least I try

Will try to fit in the following though! 1. back on track with eating!!! 2. walk 1/2 hour 5 days 3. if I go in the pool I will try to see what sort of pool workout I can come up with. Pretty sure holding down a raft is not going to count!!! |

Karen - I agree with Rosehip and Lotus - maintaining is better than gaining!
Rosehip - Welcome back! Glad you had a great time! That's great that you and your mom got to do that Lotus - You can definitely get a good workout in the pool! Maybe water aerobics? haha. Actually in our little pool (just big enough to sit in) I do "bicycle kicks" while I'm in there with the kids. This makes my boys laugh hysterically for some reason...LOL. I'm sure I look crazy in there! |

Hi Liesie and welcome! Your stats are amazing, way to go!!
I went for a run last night as I had a very stressful day and was just down and out. It was right after the Eurocup game...I live in little Italy...suffice to say it was a very interactive run with some old italian guys 'running' along with me for a minute, ha ha. Our kitchen cabinets went in this week and we couldn't be happier, they are amazing! Beachmom - they say walking is the best form of exercise, so why not? Running is hard on your body, I had a shin splint for nearly 2 weeks..have to do tons of stretching now. |

Rosehip - You're right, I'm just going to stick to walking. When I saw my doctor for my knee and told him I had been walking for exercise (after he told me I needed to lose weight - duh!), he said that wasn't good enough. Geez, it's not like I'm taking a stroll in the park...haha. I'm walking at a good pace and usually with an incline.
Oh and I completely misread your post and thought you said you lived in Italy! haha. Lotus - Wow, that's awesome! I'll keep my fingers crossed for your cousin. I can't imagine how nerve wracking that must be! We had some crazy storms pass through our area last night. I've never experienced anything like it before. We had 70 mph wind gusts and continuous lightning. It looked like there was a giant strobe light in the sky. Thankfully there was no major damage! Yikes!

Going to work on that this week hard! This weeks goals increase the amount of time and endurance with the water work outs. back to induction to get a clean start and focus! Thats it this week! for good pool workouts! I am loving doing my little pool workouts too. I'm really considering joining our rec center for their indoor pool this winter. I'm down 2 pounds this week! Goals for this week: 1. Add some ab exercises and keep up the walking. 2. More water (why is this so hard for me?!) |

Hello ladies! Sorry for the delay, holiday long weekend on account of Canada day
I am down 1 this week and pleased! I am on vacation starting on Sunday...we are headed down south for a wedding...I can't wait! Will definitely watch my up days and down days but that should be OK. Goals for this week...hmm....try not to stress! Stress has been a big deal for me lately (isn't it the same for everyone lol) and I have not been sleeping well. That, and getting back to my running schedule. How about everyone else? |

Beachmom we are going to DH aunts for the 4th she lives on the water. We go on her pontoon and watch fireworks from it. The kids have a great time! DH works till 8 that day though so he will only be able to join in just for the fireworks....someones got to pay the bills LOL

Hey everyone,
I've been on holiday these last few weeks and just been pigging out on junk, and it's made me feel pretty crappy to be honest. So I want to do this way of life for real now - I'm 23, and it's time I stopped 'having body issues' and took charge of my life. I hope it's ok that I join your weigh in group now only - I realise it's been going a while.. You all just sound really encouraging, and to make myself do this for real, I think I need a concrete bunch of people doing the same thing I am.. So I have 10 pounds to lose - that's my goal. It sounds small, but I'm pretty short so I think it's reasonable for my height and will take me back to where I was 3 years ago when I felt most happy with my weight - this is the real problem, that I suddenly got to uni and didn't put on weight in my first year but gosh made up for it in second year and third year! Anyways, sorry to post such a long one, just really looking to make a change, and hope this is a good way to do it! |
