Yay! Quite proud today was incredibly stressful at work...basically on a month to month and landlord came by yesterday and gave us 3 days notice to get out....we have another place in progress.....but it's about 30 days from being done....so as a Vet clinic....we really can't just close for 30 days, which they basically told us this morning we may be laid off for a month. So dealing with all that stress & drama, I normally would turn to the most carb loaded food I can find and drown my sorrows in it....but today I even took the toppings off the pizza the Dr bought everybody and threw away the crusts! The day ended with our NEW landlord offering to let us use a place in the new complex temporarily for FREE (as we've been working on getting permits from city for new place since December...and JUST got the approval a few weeks ago) for 30 days....so that made my day end better. As for plans for the weekend...gotta get my butt in gear and work on the house so it's nice and clean for my hubby when he comes home in 7 days! I'm so excited to see him! 6 weeks is WAY to long.....kudos to the families of the troops, I don't think I could live without my honey for a year.

Good job not eating the crust, cprcheetah!

Six weeks without your hub is rough. I usually only see mine every other weekend in winter. Been this way for all the years we've been together and I'm used to it. But if he goes for 3 weeks, I suddenly get so lonely.

My parents will eat them.

Mary I work at a gourmet food store and have candy and stuff open right in front of my all day long. Trust me it is hard to resist. Made it through the past couple days at 100% though!

We had to unload a truck today and afterwards I wasn't even hungry when I went to lunch/dinner! I had a tiny bit of cheese and 2 pieces of bacon!

Good morning Ladies! It's the first day of trout season in most of PA today and I am WORKING! Booooo!!!

I must confess, I tried TWO of the honey roasted mac nuts last night. They weren't heavily coated like some hr nuts. Looked at info and 1/4 cup is 9 grams carbs, 2 fiber so 7 net carbs. I'd say with the size of the nuts, 1/4 cup would be about 6. At least I didnt open the chocolate covered ones!!

Gotta go get ready for work!

Good Morning!

Lots of good decisions being posted. That keeps me inspired!

I'll be gardening today. I'm not a green thumb at all, but I like the place looking neat.
So lots of weeding, trimming and I'll be moving around some things I planted last year.

Have a great day all!

Go for it! 70s here you come!

Yay for only sampling the nuts!

The stomach assault is making a stronger threat today. Thought I was on the way to recovery....not so....fear leaving the tent ...only doing so to do latrine inspections...

TC, please pull me along with you. I seem to have some aversion to the 170's. If you're not strong enough to pull me, go on and hold my place. I'll be there ASAP.

Janice, I'd take point and lead us in if I thought I could do it, but I've been bouncing up and down for weeks myself now! I'm back to 182 today. We'd better stick together. This must be a two-person mission, but we'll make it! We gotta just keep trying! And we have lots of buddies covering for us.

Get well soon, Sarge! You can't keep us in line if you're inspecting the latrine all day!

After several weeks of bouncing I hit 216.0# this morning! YAY! I've been bouncing between 218 & 216ish for weeks now. Glad I am finally starting to go down again...would love to hit 214 before Friday when hubs comes home! I can't wait for him to see me

I hope you feel better soon Kitty. Worshipping the porcelain isn't very fun.

If that's the flu you have, Sarge, I've found that Sambucol works wonders to shorten the length and severity of it. It stops the cytokene storm that causes it to replicate in your body or something (probably didn't spell that right). Hope you feel better soon!

cheetah - I feel excited for you! When my hubby was home at Easter, I only had one pair of pants that were starting to look baggy. Now, suddenly, all of my pants are baggy in the butt and I don't have a roll above the waist anymore. I'm hoping to get into my 6s before he gets back again!

for cheetah! WTG, girl! And for NH with her baggybutt pants and missing muffin top!

I've been doing lots of up and downing too, Garden, but today I'm down to 181! We're getting so close, 70s Patrol! Let's go for it!

Sarge, I hope you're feeling better today!

Have a great Monday, everyone!

TC, your mission, if you accept it, is to keep me away from the chocolate chip cookies. I ate a "bate" of them yesterday. (not sure if I'm spelling that right- someone with more experience in southern idioms/expressions, enlighten me, please) I've GOT to throw them out or give them away when I get home this evening.

Have a good day, you baggy butt girls!

I'm on you, Janice, like "white on rice!" Actually, I think it's a bait of food, think of those nasty, hurtful cookies sinking their barbs into you! Get rid of those things, girl! The sooner the better!

I'm planning my meals for the next few days, trying hard to break into 70s Land! Tonight I'll have a Whataburger Jr on whole wheat with mustard (300 cal) before a meeting in town and tomorrow night when my Red Hat group goes to Red Lobster, I'll have the broiled seafood platter with broccoli (also 300 cal), put half of that in a take-home box for the next day, and try to stay away from those terrible nasty (translate yummy ) rolls! And NO drinks except water and NO desserts!
I'm gonna kick some you know what this week!

Sorry you're still sick, Kitty.
Hope you knock it out soon.

I'm really struggling with my food.
I have everything I need here to make good choices. However, I'm just continuing to nibble and nibble on other things.
Which obviously isn't helping in the loss column.
I thought it might be good to be accountable in print. Maybe that will help....

I have been walking though.

You're still not feeling good kitty? Our girl at work wasn't 100% till about a week after she first got it. She went home after 2 hours on a Wed, came to work Thurs and actually made it through her shift but then was sick again all weekend. Wasn't able to eat solid foods till the next Wed. Must be the Bugh Flu or something!

I'm the same....do great during the day, but at night I'm always looking for something to snack on even though I'm not hungry !!! I think it's a bad habit I can't seem to break. If I could make myself go to bed earlier, it would be of great benefit to my weight !!!

everyone! I've been having internet troubles (exceeded download limits) and been trying to get our new phones restored, synced, Clouded, etc. Had to send myself e-mails from my journal app for four months of weigh-loss data (one week at a time) and then hand enter each day's weight with those silly roller thingies! Let me just type data in. Keyboards are a wonderful invention. I was using computers before keyboards and monitors were even invented -- I don't need roller thingies! Ok, enough venting!

The good news is, even though I haven't made it into the 70s territory yet, I'm still closer - 180.5. Arghhhh! Will I ever get there!

Garden, I get the urge to eat or drink something every evening, so I fix myself a pot of chamomile tea. Why do you join me?

Thanks, everyone for the support you are giving Freeman and me. And Freeman, take my hand, we're going to get there together!

Sarge Kitty, take care of yourself and get well soon! We want you back to top shape!
