Thanks for the welcome to the dark side guys! Have to confess that yesterdays UD turned into more of a FD, but I'm back on track with a DD today so hoping it won't affect things too much.

I'm counting down to my hols now, just 4 more sleeps - and only 7 more til the marathon, eeeekkkkkk!

Crazy busy at work and home these days. Driving licence was expired so had to renew it, car registration expires this month so have to get car ready for that, housemaid's visa must be renewed next month before she can go vacation in June, DD1's residence visa must be renewed before she leave in July for Uni. And still there is the kids, the house, the garden, the chickens to be taken care of! Truly, I love my life!

JUDDD is going well. Looking for a new low this week. I'll weigh on friday. Feeling stronger and leaner everyday. DD are still hard - specially if I have a pretty intense workout, but I just keep telling myself Its only today!

Shy -

Everyone else -

It's very quiet here isn't it?!

Mint, where are you going on the cruise? Well done on nearly 40lbs lost! Yep, still doing the marathon, one way or another.

Blondie, wow, you are a busy bee!

Still JUDDDing here and loving the results (although not the DDs). I'm the lowest I've been since before Christmas, which is great - still got 9lbs to go though, and it'll be put on hold while I'm in the UK - carbo loading for the marathon starts tomorrow, scary!

Hope everyone else is well!

Blotto, I can imagine very scary!! Good luck.

Blondie - I've noticed that these always happen together!!!

Well done both on JUDDD - I still don't love DD - but don't find them too difficult as a general rule. Although there are days when I'm ravenous!

The cruise heads to New Caledonia and Vanuatu - interested to see a Polynesian Island... We've never known if we want to holiday on one before - so we'll get to see first hand - whilst I get some useful info!

Well done all you JUDDDers! I think I'm just doing up days . It's very enjoyable, but doesn't work as well for weight loss.

I've just booked a hotel in Paris for a few days next month - I'm actually going to Normandy, but flying to Paris, so I thought I may as well have a look around while I'm there. I was quite shocked to realise that apart from changing planes or trains, I haven't been to Paris for 30 years! Where did all that time go?

Hi everyone

Yep it sure has been quiet I have been lurking but didn't have much to say as I had an upsetting week last week with the loss of a family friend's son at 29 years of age and it was the anniversary of my friend who was murdered which actually I never mentioned at the time because I was too upset and other people were grieving here at the same time....but this together with the usual other stuff stuff my Mum la la la took its toll....but I.m back now.

Blotto by the time you read this you will perhaps be well on your way to the airport or maybe in the UK - raining that is lol

Mint Well done on loss of 40lbs that is a huge amount and you must be pleased. Still haven't tried zumba but will one day I guess

Ailuros trip to Paris in May will be fab hope that it comes round quickly and you can get going...love the UD's but is it working lol

Blondie glad JUDDD still working for you YAY

Nice to see you passing by Shy love the red lap top and phone hmmm very girly for you lol. Hope that induction goes OK but honestly you should give JUDDD a whirl. You know how I was struggling - its been a plod but in 9 weeks I have lost 3.3kgs around half a stone and YES YES YES I am finally 10st 4lbs I.ve broken the pesky 10st 5lbs barrier so hopefully will be hitting 10stone any time soon. Yes the DD's are hard and getting easier as time goes on but like Blondie says you just have to tell yourself its for one day only and I just stave off the starvation with black coffee. Luckily Blotto and I have been in rotation and been able to keep each other focused on the Depressing Day as we have nicknamed it lol.

Hi to everyone else. Off to funeral tomorrow and it looks like rain so not good especially as its a burial.

Hi everyone. Just home from meal out, rather a lot for a DD but I am not going to worry.

Sending hugs to you Lola, so sad to lose someone so young. Especially hard coming on the anniversary of last year's tragedy.

Blotto I won't be in London to cheer you over the finish line. So sorry, but FIL takes precedence.

Be great if you can get to Zumba 3 times a week Vicky. You'll melt.

Lola, so so sorry for your news, sending lots of big hugs.

Sorry no personals to anyone else, just quickly popping by to say I'm off to the UK now, but will try to pop in next week to let you all know how I get on in the marathon on Sunday - wish me luck! Good news from me on JUDDD by the way, I'm down to 139 which is finally back to the weight in my stats, lol!

Have a lovely weekend all!

Shy, lovely to see you, as always.

Blotto I am delighted that you have got down to your stats weight. Who would have though the JUDDD would catch on like this?

Vicky over 40 gone forever! Soon will be 50, I can tell you are off and running. Yay.

122.6 today after the big dinner.

Sun is shining here in Exeter, off into town, eye test then lunch and a nit of shopping.

Yeah who would have thought Kissa...all thanks to you.

I finally hit the 10st 4lbs mark this week after struggling to get past the 5lbs bit of the 10st...so hopefully downward and onwards now to 10st.

Hope that you enjoy your nit shopping...lol

Yes, the nit shopping was great

DH had to get new prescription sunglasses as his newish ones where stolen. So depressing and so expensive. But, while in Boots, I managed to buy potions that will undoubtedly keep me young forever.

Enjoyed my UD which included Mojitos and Tacos.

Hi everyone sorry no time for personals whizzing by.

Yesterday was a DD but became a very up up and away day due to too much grief and wine. However, it was a beautiful service and the sun came out luckily. So looking very much like I was only 10st 4lbs for a couple of days and am up again!! Never mind when needs must and all that.

I hope that you all have a nice weekend and look out for Blotto in the Marathon. I don't think she is wearing a chicken outfit or anything whacky so may be hard to spot. Anyway good luck Blotto you are a braver woman than I am.

Just a quick fly-by. Making bread, dinner, gardening and cleaning today. Girls gone to Dubai for shopping, DS3 gone to football match so only for DH, DS2 and me for dinner. Found a great recipe for crockpot meatloaf. I love my crockpot. It really frees me up to get all the other stuff done on Fridays!

Lola, that is the joy of JUDDD,a couple of good DDs and you'll be fine. I am leased that the funeral was clearly a celebration of his life. Tough times though.

Glad you are busy and happy Maryam. Enjoy the meatloaf.

Yes Vicky the ones from Oman. I think they were just jinxed!

DD here, been to the gym, going to call my hairdresser to see if they can cut and colour me this afternoon.

Thank you Kissa...tbh I wasn't sure what I should do because today is an UD....so decided to make it a MD to make up for yesterday hope that is right?

Hope you got your hair sorted....I had to have an emergency trip to mine the other day as couldn't wait for the booked appointment which had changed so many times because of work stuff....but the black&grey roots were coming and not a pretty sight...so he did me a quick parting cosmetic touch up...so that will hopefully last now tilll middle of May.

Hailstones here...arghhhh!!

Lola - my thoughts on what to do when a DD doesn't remain a DD

If the DD turns into a MD (ie your UD cals + DD Cals/2) - then the next day should be an UD as usual.

If it turns into a more than that - make the DD an UD and the next d

Thank you Vicky...that's what I did turned it into a DD so now today is an Ud yay....I am afraid the "slip up was definitely not a MD"....too much wine la la la...but back on track now so thank you and scales only showing 1lb up so that will soon melt away.
