225.3...I'll take it as I had some Jullian bread yesterday, due to national grilled cheese sandwich day and me not feeling good at all. I was feeling drunk and just know I never drink anything. My body is just not handeling it very well when I drink, so I rather not drink.

But yesterday, if felt I emptied a bottle :-)

Oh well, its better today, so I am back at work!!

Beth, been there done that, a couple years ago, after that business went more downhill and now my husband and I decided to just give it back to the bank. Lots paperwork too, drives me batty LOL

Dh had 2 interviews yesterday with neighboring towns that really want him - all he has to do is say yes. The problem - about $20,000 less a year. We can't survive. Kind of burst our bubble. A coach friend of his from Beaumont wants us to come look at it. Dang - far off, a major move and no where near my sister or dh's family. Closer to water. That's a plus. Money would be comparable. Not sure where we are supppose to go!

I read a Facebook post yesterday that shook me - bashing our coaches, namely my husband but no one was named. Others jumped into the conversation bashing coaches as well. I messaged the gal after stewing all day and then cried myself to sleep because she was someone I have talked to about all this. She messaged me back - and she was not naming my dh - she thought the person to blame for this was another coach -but then found out my dh is the head track coach so he would be who she is complaining about. But as it turns out, her son was to blame, not any of the coaches and so she aplogized profusely in text and messaging and then posted a major apology on Facebook to publicly say she was wrong to take her emotions to the public. It was very humbling, I am sure for her and I appreciate it....

But, where I get in a funk is - this is our life - this is the kind of thing that happens to us. Had she not been a friend of mine, I would have probably still confronted her, but it may not have turned out so well. People gripe, and social networking makes it so easy to make things SO PUBLIC now and then others jump on board - things fester, coaches get run off. Families are uprooted and there was never a chance. It could have turned out so badly - and my dh is not exactly on top of the world right now anyway. He is in major depression mode. I'm just ready for things to get better and for us to have smooth years..........

I'm still sticking to plan. I have NEVER worked out at bedtime, but had I not last night, I would have missed my first day in 60 days of following this plan! I couldn't let this get to me.

Hope all of you are getting back on plan and staying on track. It's hard, I know, but you all have worked SO HARD!

Rachel - that college stuff is pretty emotional. How was orientation today?

Diane - STEP AWAY FROM THE CANDY! lolol!!!

Beth - hope this weekend is restful - you are on the go so much. Any news on when your brother is leaving?

Chocgirl - everyone here was talking about National Grilled Cheese day too. haha

Hope you all had a good day!

Well girls I have been in a major funk the past few days too! I ate HORRIBLY and have not exercised. By horrible, I mean candy, cookies, more cookies and more cookies.. more candy.. some chips, a regular Coke, and oh yes, another cookie (YES I WAS AT WORK) I topped off the day with some Indian food from a new place (not nearly as good as my usual Indian place). I have been PERFECTLY in control of my eating today however, despite being even more stressed out and down in the dumps.

I was actually in an ok mood this morning because I asked Curt (via text) if he still wants to go to Kings Island in two weeks and he said yes.. then I talked to my friend from my old neighborhood and he said there is a rumor going around about me and Curt.. that we broke up. Now, keep in mind I dont know what was really said.. its probably like the game telephone where it gets lost along the way.. but someone apparently went to some event in Curts town and overheard him say he just broke up with his girlfriend.. several people and some time later, I hear this from my friend. He told them it wasn't true or he would know about it. Anyway, it just made me feel SO SICK to my stomach all day. Like I said, who knows what was actually said.. for all I know he could have said he hadnt seen me in a while, that we are taking a break, or who knows.. but all I know is that technically he did NOT break up with me.. he has still continued to text me, and we are going to Kings Island in two weeks. He has told me several times he misses me.. I am witholding judgement until I talk to him and find out why the past 3 months happened, and oh yes, I am going to ask about what he suposedly said. I feel like.. even if he and I end up together, there is something in me that is broken and might not be "fixable". I know no one understands why I dont give up, but I just can't. Not until I actually see him and talk to him and hear what he has to say. Im not letting him off the hook easily and boy oh boy will I have a LOT of questions, and at least one good thing out of this is I am NOT afriad to ask them.

On top off all that, my DD is feeling sick again, but the doctor can't do anything until she gets 3 "samples" to the lab..

OH! DId I tell you guys the truancy thing has been dropped? I got the call yesterday... no more court! (and then DD missed more school this week).

Beth: Im up about 5lbs too!! (no big surprise) I did really really well today though and expect a drop of at least a couple lbs tomorrow. Planning on taking yoga in the morning.

Charlene: We all seem to be down in the dumps lately! I hope the answer for you and your DH comes to you soon. The right thing will come along. I always try to remember that things happen for a reason.. but believe me, the past few years with one thing after another.. its hard to remember or even believe it sometimes!

Chocgirl: Love the new picture! I know how hard it is to be so far away from your family especially when a parent has health issues. My mom had a stroke years ago and I couldn't get out to California. I feel so left out of everything!

Rachel: Saw your post on FB about the college visit.. tell us about it when you get back!

Well I take that back! I am no longer up 5 lbs! I was a whopping 186.2 yesterday and this morning I am 181.2!! Lost the 5 lbs in one day! Honestly I didnt eat much at ALL yesterday, but usually it would take at least days to drop back down that much, if not a week or more. All I had was a Muscle Milk Light protein shake, an Atkins shake, coffee, and two slices of bologna. I just wasn't hungry.. plus I drank a decent amount of water, but not as much as I should have.

Weird thing last night, one of Curts good friends (and neighbor) was chatting with me on facebook last night (he and his wife have gone on motorcycle rides with us). Neither of us even mentioned Curt at ALL. I was actually kind of relieved because I was so afraid he would say something I didnt want to hear. I wonder if he was wondering if I would say something.. he asked what Ive been up to and that they hadnt seen me in a while.. but nothing about Curt.

Well Im off to yoga...

Good morning! I am better. I went to the baseball game last night because my daughter wanted to go and the woman was there. She came right up to where another coach's wife and I were sitting and asked us both if we hated her. She hugged us and almost cried and said again how sorry she was. She talked to us for a long time.

I am down another pound for a total of 36.6. I'm just so happy things are moving again and it's not 1 pound in 4 weeks like when I first started this BFL program. hahaha! Now it's been averaging about a pound a week which I'll take because I am toning.

Ok, Diane - do you wear a bathing suit to King's Island? If so, put that baby on and go workout! I remember my sister set her treadmill up with double mirrors so she could see her backside while on the treadmill. She even went so extreme because she was going to Aruba, that she ran naked on teh treadmill and she said she nearly puked from the sight. She said if ever there was motivation, that was it! hehehehe Hey, I just rechecked and you posted this morning....YAY for losing the 5 pounds!!!!

Hope everyone else is doing ok! have a great day!

Off to bootcamp!!

Geez--lost a post already this morning--it was the dog's fault. She was in my lap cuz the bird was making noise and I hit the wrong button with all 50 pounds of her moving around.

Scale is up this morning, but I expected it since I ate off plan yesterday. Back on it today. My weight seems to be going in the wrong direction. I'm hoping that the injections in my knees are playing with my metabolism. Anyway, I want to go to the gym either today or tomorrow. I'm supposed to take 48 hours off after an injection. I hope all of this is worth it and get some serious relief or its going to be surgery for me. I'm spending the weekend working on taxes.

Charlene--I'm sure you will figure out the right thing to do, but it is always hard being in transition. We are talking about when and where to move. Depending on if I stay in my job, I may be moving up towards Sacramento next year. Or we may stay here and start to look at areas where we might retire. We just refinanced our house yesterday, significantly lower interest and payment.

Diane--I hope you get some answers from Curt. Just not calling or talking is not breaking-up. And if he thinks it is, then he's a coward. I hoping for the best for you. Nice to see a 5 pound drop--I'm jealous. Sorry to hear about your DD not feeling so well. She just can't catch a break. Glad the truancy thing is taken care of.

Rachel--so how as orientation?

Chocgirl--How ya doing today?

Well--those files are not going to clean themselves up. I best get to it.

Have a great day everyone.

Hey all....

Doing ok, have not weighed myself this morning yet. Had a hard time last night when the other family members were eating sweets.....its hard to enjoy friday nights like that. It makes me a bit crabby...

Diane, I hope Curt will be honest to you. I do not know how you can so very well contain yourself like that. I would have been on his doorstep to get clearity on the subject the very next day....kuddos !!! Maybe the carbfest was what you needed to lose 5 lbs, bit jealous now lololol

Sports-mom, how horrible.....glad she feels bad about it and apologized to you...
I think that the social networking is great but these are examples when its not great. It makes it very easy for people to vent their frustration and not getting emotinal feedback or...keeping thereselfs (spelling) in check with being hurtful or damaging...

Evening Slimmers!

The scale was at 131 this morning. TOM seems to be leaving so I really hope to see a loss. My next mini goal is 127 again.

Orientation was really nice. It was very informative for both DD17 and I. DD17 has her schedule for next year. She will be taking 6 classes for a total of 17 hours. I did very good yesterday and didn't shed a tear although I about lost it in the parent session called "Letting Go". I am not sure how exactly I will handle DD17 going to college but I do know that I'm going to struggle with it. I am fearful of going off the deep end so I'm already warning my family and close friends.

Ok I am bawling just typing that out. So I will be back later for personals.

Down another lb. I was 180.2 this morning.. was hoping for the 70s, but Im sure I will be there by tomorrow as long as Im as good today as I have been the past two days.

So yesterday I took the curcuit class AND yoga.. and OMG am I SORE today! My neck, shoulders, armpits, upper and lower back.. inner thighs.. Im not sure there is a part of me that ISNT sore! Im thinking it was the curcuit class more than the yoga.. I didnt really like the instructor in that yoga class.. she was annoying and was a little TOO "earthy".. but I stuck it out.

I finally upgraded my old dinosaur iPhone to an iPhone4! I LOVE it.

Apparently the ex lost his job finally (back in December he said he lost it, but then they kept him on for a "50% pay cut" (according to him, so who knows).. so on top of ALL the other stress right now, I have to worry about if my rent is going to get paid and if Ill stil get the child support.. I know its all court ordered, but all it will take to ruin my life is him missing ONE payment.

Charlene: I laughed at the naked treadmill comment! I cant even IMAGINE doing that! Kings Island is mostly rides, but they do have a water park.. the main park opens the 28th, but the water park opens a month later so I have a little extra time for that.. I need all the time I can get! I have only gone to the water park with my kids when they were little many years ago. I did buy a really nice bathing suit top that I will be really comfortable in (built-in underwire bra!) so I plan to keep up the diet and exercise as much as possible. I am determined! I cant believe how bad I was last week, and in just two days Im down 6 lbs! (granted I just lost what I gained) I guess it feels like the rest of my life is out of control, at least I can control diet/exercise...

Beth: Hang in there.. it probalby is the shots that are messing with you. I will get my answers one way or another.. Im really kind of nervous because I am SOOO counting on Kings Island on the 28th.. I dont know if Ill see him before then, but if it turns out to be stormy that day and we dont go I am going to be a mess!

Chocgirl: I know it can be hard when the family is eating sweets or other snacky things.. I try to have something on-hand that I can legally snack on and hopefully keep me from eating the bad stuff. If I go to the movies I might take some cashews or pistachios, and an Atkins bar, and drink water. Sweets can be more difficult, but sometimes I will have a sugar free jello or a pudding. I used to eat Russell Stovers sugar free candy (pecan clusters, mint patties.. mmm, but the problem with those is I can't eat just one or two!) With meals when I would cook for the family, if it was something I knew would be tempting to me, I could make a low carb version for myself and it would satisfy any cravings so I didnt eat the bad version.

Rachel: How far away from you is the college? Will you still see DD often? I know its still really hard.. I sometimes get sad just thinking about when all my kids were little and still at home. My boys are all close by, but I dont see them that often.

I made it to the gym today for the first time in 10 days and almost passed out while on the bike. I have no idea what that was about. I had nothing left after that.

And I finished the taxes tonight for a nice fat refund!

See ya all tomorrow

Good morning! Got my lower body workout and abs in this morning plus a 15 minute tread climb at 5.0 incline to get a little extra leg workout.

Had a nice weekend. If anybody needs a good back workout (Latissimus dorsi) push mow a half acre with no self propel action. Still sore today after mowing early Saturday morning. Wow.

Beth - good for you for making it back to the gym! Hope those injections so the trick!

Rachel - glad to hear orientation went well. Is the college very far from you?

Diane - keep trucking! Sure hope the ex doesn't screw you on the payment. That stinks!

Chocgirl - Hope you're doig well!!

Have a great day!!

I knew 6 lbs was too good to be true! Im back up 2 this morning! I was very very good all weekend. Saturday I did the two classes (Im still sore) and Sunday I went to the gym and did a little cardio. No cheats whatsoever. I had a feeling I would be up a little today for some reason. Im starting to feel a little PMS-ish. I WILL get into the 70s this week no matter what!!!

I didnt do my P90X workouts last week while I was being so bad (and it didnt help that I couldnt do them at work), but Im planning to jump back in today AND I want to keep taking the other classes at the gym as well (Curcuit, Pilates, and Yoga). If I can coordinate my P90x yoga day with Saturday when I can take a gym class instead that would be good. MORE WATER today.. that could be one reason Im up today was I didnt drink as much water yesterday, and probably had more sodium too.

I have even more motivation to get that scale moving.. my younger sister has been losing weight.. she started out at 237 I think, and she is about to hit Onederland!!! Im so proud of her, but she let it be known she is only about 25 lbs more than me now and she is going to catch up to me! Cant let that happen!! (at least not for a while) She has been doing Medifast.. I dont know much about it, but its the first thing she has really stuck with in years.

Charlene: Well, the ex is paying the rent this month, now I need to worry about next month, lol. I dont mow anymore since I live in a townhouse, but boy oh boy do I remember what a workout it was!

Beth: I about passed out at the curcuit class Saturday.. I made it half way through and had to sit down for a while, but still did parts of the second half.. I felt queasy and dizzy and my lungs were icky. I think my allergies were aggravating my mild asthma (which I take nothing for because its sooo mild).. it was embarrassing.. I have always made it through that class.. then again Ive never been so sore from a workout either! Had you drank enough water before working out? My instructor thought maybe I was dehydrated, but I dont know about that.

Chocgirl and Rachel: How ya doing?

Good Morning Slimmers!

Scale is at 131. I haven't stayed motivated this weekend. It's time to buckle back down and get these last 6-11 lbs off for good.

DD17 will be 2 hours away. So I know it's not too far away but the thought of having 2 hours to get to her if she needs me scares the heck out of me.

I am heading out the door so I will be back later to post personals. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Hi all, hope you are doing all well!!

Diane, well its still a 4lbs loss, I will take that any time :-)!!!!

Went to the ballgame yesterday, everyone was eating dogs and chips and I just had to sip on a waterbottle, no fun!!! Was extremely hungry when I got home and thought I overdid it a bit with the dinner and being so hungry, but was down this morning, surprisingly, I was expecting a gain for sure!

Picked up a nice book this weekend from a streetfair, the carbohydrate addicts diet, has some yummy recipes for desserts and breads and all kinds of other good low carb stuff.

Its Monday, not to happy on Mondays.....hope it will be over soon!!

Good morning all! Got my cardio in and I am wringing wet. Feels good.

Chocgirl - I know that feeling about everyone around you eating and you aren't. When I first started back on this plan, I was working many concession stand shifts during basketball games and all the workers would be eating nachos and such. I was determined not to mess up and so I would stick a low carb bar in my purse on the way up there and fill my water bottle up.

Diane - nothing like a little sibling rivalry to get things going. My sister and I started one year together and I caved and gave up while she cruised on to lose 80 pounds. She's still thin and I'm getting there a few years later.

Rachel - You can get those last meddling pounds! Stick with it!

Beth - hope you're having a good day.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Wow yesterday was terrible! I was so emotional and binging... and that was BEFORE I found out my dad was in the hospital! (which made it worse of course being that he is in California..) Anyway, he is 83 and has pneumonia, but is doing great today and they are already letting him go home! Whew! I realized this morning (when TOM started) that I was probably PMSing more than anything yesterday.. going great today. Gotta run.. Ive got class...

Good morning Slimmers,

I'm really not feeling great. I had a migraine yesterday which kicked my behind. I'm also really sore and tired today. I did some of my exercises here at home today and hope to go to the gym later this afternoon. I've noticed that my right scalpula is hurting and don't know why. Tomorrow is the last series of shots in my knees (yipee). It is supposed to get warm here for change. I have no motivation to do anything (including work or working out). I think there is some kind of virus going around again because dh said he wasn't feeling so great either.

Anyway--the scale is staying way up there. I'm at a loss. I've started to take my thyroid medication again hoping that will kick up the old metabolism. I just feel like wreck right now.

Diane--sorry to hear about your dad. Pnemonia is very tough in the elderly and I'm glad he is coming home today. There has been a very nasty virus that attacks the lungs this year (remember the 7 weeks I had it) and it can be really hard on the older folks. I'm glad my mom managed to miss it--she has COPD and it would be terrible for her. I stayed away for a few months to be sure she didn't get it.

Charlene, Rachel, Chocgirl--how ya all doing?

Have a good day.

Afternoon Slimmers!

I am finally back down to 129. Now if I can just get the scale to keep moving downward. I really want to be close to 120 when DD17 graduates. I am not sure if this is even possible because graduation is in a little over a month. I am really going to have to step up the exercise I know.

It is in the lower 70s but super sunny here today. I plan on spending a little time out of the pool deck soaking up some rays. The sun on my skin always makes me feel better.

I plan on either walking around the neighborhood before my meeting or hopping on the treadmill afterwards. Gotta question. I am really struggling to find pants/shorts that fit. If I get them to fit in the waist then they are way too tight in the thighs and if I can them to fit in the thighs then they are several inches too big in the waist. I've tried several brands/styles, etc with no luck. What can I do to shrink my thighs?

beth: I hope you feel better soon!

diane: Sorry to hear about your dad! Glad he is being released from the hospital today. Hang in there and jump right back on the LC wagon.

Doing okay, thanks for asking beth :-)

Sorry for going through an emotional rough patch Diane, PMS will do it though, sometimes when I go through my PMS it makes me want to eat chocolate really bad, I just know when its that time :-)

Went out my way last night to make a LC dinner for the family and was not well received. Hubby wants to join the LC way of eating but votes almost all off as it tasting like cardboard.

Made some cheesecakes yesterday and those too together with the mashed mocked potatoes (cauliflower) were voted off the menu :-(

The only thing that was good and could stay was the fish I made, and the bottom of the cheesecakes with a tsp of almond butter. So I am thinking of just making the crust, with a bit of almond butter on top, drizzle some sugarfree chocolate on it and call it a day for the next time, saves time too .....

Successful day here.. I met my friend for a step class this morning and eating has been perfect. It helped that I was busy all day. The class was a lower impact class, they were all older ladies which made me more comfortable too. I was actually sweating a bit! (I dont normally sweat very much at all even after an hour on the eliptical!) Tomorrow we are doing pilates. I haven't done any of the P90X yet, but I DO want to get back into it... enjoying trying some new classes though! (I didnt think I would ever enjoy a step class lol)

Beth: I know the thyroid sure can mess with your metabolism.. my younger sister would always gain weight when she was off her meds. I hope you feel beter, you have been sick way too much this year so far!

Rachel: I have no idea about the thighs.. I have my own thigh issue, lol, they are a bit flabby on the inside despite all the exercise. My legs are really toned except there, its from losing all that weight I guess.

Charlene: What are you up to?

Chocgirl: If you like cauliflower, here is an AWESOME recipe. I took it to a potluck once and people asked me for that "potato recipe" I like to use a little more cheese, oh and definately bake it, it comes out better. I bake it on the longer side also.

JUST LIKE STUFFED BAKED POTATOES

16 ounce package frozen cauliflower
8 ounce cream cheese with chives
8 ounce shredded cheddar
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 pieces bacon, chopped and fried until crisp
Paprika, optional

Cook the cauliflower until soft, about 8-10 minutes; drain very well and break
up florets a bit with a spoon (it's also very good if the cauliflower is still a
little chunky). Put in a greased 8 x 8" baking pan or 2-quart casserole. Mix in
the cream cheese, cheddar, green onion, salt, pepper and bacon. Dust top with
paprika, if desired. Bake at 350 for 20-40 minutes, until browned and bubbly.
Or, microwave, loosely covered, for about 40 minutes on 50% power, turning dish after 20 minutes.

Here is a link to some of my fav. lowcarb recipes. My family loved them.. so they are pretty "family friendly"

Good morning! Stayed up kind of late with friends last night to get dh out of the house and try to brighten his mood. It worked, but I couldn't get out of bed. I'll have to save my cardio for this evening after work.

Well, the two places close by where dh went and interviewed want him really bad but financially we can't do it. Such a huge paycut. So, now he is branching out to other towns which means I could possibly have to give up my job I love. I know we will end up where the good Lord wants us, but I sure do question all the moves. Anywhere we go now though, I would be the one taking a paycut and I'll never have this freedom to make my own schedule or have such a wonderful salary. Man, it's tough.

Sounds like everyone is staying on track.

Diane - I love working out with friends too! It makes it more enjoyable. My good friend here - her husband actually set up a backyard "bootcamp" with several rotating stations so if you do it three times through, it's a good heart raising 30 minute workout. I did it with her the other day and we could only make it through twice - of course both of us had already worked out and we went spent. Sorry about your dad! Glad he got better fast and hopefully will stay well. It's tough being so far away!

Beth - those pesky migraines! My friend at work always took Excedrin, but they took them off the shelf here so she's been struggling. Our boss came in and said she buys those $2 boxes of caffiene pills at walmart and cuts them in half and they seem to be helping with her headaches.

Chocgirl - it is so hard to please our families with LC. However, I have made some of the most delicious recipes this go round that I'm not getting too many complaints! I always choose a recipe with high reviews and well tested/tasted and it usually works for my family. Those twice baked "potatoes" (cauliflower) was a pretty good hit.

Rachel - yay on being in the 120's again! I was actually imagining getting into onederland yesterday and how good that's going to feel! Can't wait! Do you do any kind of weight training? I will tell some of the exercises that kill the quads, glutes and hamstrings - you only need one of those big stability balls to do them. For the quads - put the ball against the wall and put your back into the ball. Slowly lower to a squat position and roll back up. Stability Ball Wall Squats - Butt/Hips, Legs - Thighs - Get Fit Exercise Library - American Council on Exercise For the butt/hamstrings - lie on the floor on your back and put your feet up on the ball. Lift your butt off the floor. Roll the ball toward your butt with your feet and back out. Stability Ball Hamstring Curl - Butt/Hips, Legs - Thighs - Get Fit Exercise Library - American Council on Exercise

Good Morning!

I am happy to say the scale was at 128 this morning! That is a new low for this year. I am so thrilled to finally see something below 129. I am hoping to see 127 real soon.

charlene: I am only doing walking/jogging and Zumba right now. I know I need to add in some weight trainiing. I do already have a stability ball so I will look into those links.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Not stepping on the scale right now, aunt Flo is seriously having a party with my weight!!!! so extremely frustrating, so I try to stay neutral :-) Better to step back and do my thing :-)

I will try the recipe Diane, maybe that will be better recieved. I made an Mexican meatloaf yesterday and made my own tortilla's/pancakes with it that I turned in to quesedilia's (spelling forgive me). Some fried queso and salsa and it was a hit!!:-)

Sportsmom, I think your name is Charlene, not sure LOL, hope you will find closure soon in what is going to happen. I always keep this saying with me, sometimes the door closes because God has other plans for you that are better for you and your family!
I understand your hesitation with giving up your job, hope you will find something that might just as good!

Diane, thanks for the recipe, I will try to make this next week and let you know how it was received!!

HHHMom great loss!!!! Congrats!!!

Wishing you all a good day, weather is beautiful here today, might go for a walk :-)

Evening Slimmers!

Just got off the treadmill. It kicked my butt! I did 2.4 miles in 30 minutes with lots of incline (6-10%). It says I torched more than 400 calories but I find that hard to believe. I love the way cardio makes me feel so why o why don't I do it every single day.

choc: TOM always wrecks havoc on my scale too! Hang in there! Have you tried the flourless chocolate cake recipe from here? If not, you should. It is super yummy! I don't fix it very often but when I do it always hits the spot.

Hi ladies,

Just returned from getting the last shot in my knees. I hope that this works. I have felt really crummy for the last few weeks and am coming to believe that there has been a virus going around that saps the energy out of whoever it hits. My mom would barely go out for five weeks and I thought she was depressed but she was feeling great. Dh wasn't feeling great and now I am hearing about more and more people. Some folks have GI symptoms too. I've not been staying on plan really well, when you feel sim it's tough. So here's hoping I'm on the upswing and can get back to the gym by Saturday or Sunday. I just don't have it to hit the gym and then feel like I'm lazy or something.

Charlene. I do those two exercised with the stability ball. They are harder than they look. Now when I do the squat I use a medicine ball to work my arms at the same time. A lot of my work now has squats as a part of them to work my legs.

Rachel. If you are looking to reduce your thighs because they are muscular, you'll want to do something that lengthens tand stretches the muscles like pilates or yoga. If you ae trying to tone the, the stabiliity ball exercises will help. I know what you mean about feeling so good after cardio.

Diane. I've made the califlower recipe and it's great. Hope you are doing well

Chocgirl. Hope the scale is kind to you soon.

Have a good evening all!

Good morning! I did get my cardio in yesterday evening - a walk/jog with the dog for 2 miles. He was spent - I'm gonna have to get him back in shape. lol 'Bout to hit the lower body workout this morning and then have a little paperwork to do for work today.

Rachel - oh, yes, 300 calories in 30 minutes, especially at those inclines is very in reach! I actually questioned my treadmill calorie burn until I got a Polar heart monitor and I was burning MORE than it said! I actually put mine on an incline if I'm pressed for time and need to burn more calories in a small amount of time. That's awesome!!

Beth - sure hope whatever is trying to get a hold of you lets go! Happy your took your last shot and hope that does the trick.

Chocgirl - hang in there. The Mexican meatloaf sounds yummy!

Diane - how you doing? Anymore new classes?

TGIF Slimmers!

Scale is still at 128 this morning so that's a good sign. I was afraid it would bounce again. I am going to get another treadmill workout in at some point today.

Tomorrow is prom for DD17. Her dress is neon orange. So tomorrow will be super busy with hair appt, make up appt, nail appt.

charlene: Nice to know that maybe my treadmill calories burned isn't off. I can really tell this morning that I used an incline. WOW!!

I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Chocgirl: Im in the same boat this week with TOM.. ugh. I look forward to the day I dont have to deal with it anymore!

Charlene: DOing ok.. just reeeeally stressed out. DD seems to be feeling much better but still hasnt gotten anything to the lab. Tomorrow Im going to do curcuit and then yoga like last week.. im sure it will kick my booty again, but I need it!

diane: Do you attend a local community college? I can't remember. Will semesters make it easier or harder do you think? Our high school last year went to semesters instead of quarters. It was a huge change but suppose to make it easier to adjust to college.
