Hi Everyone!
Back on track today.
Here's what I had:
Coffee w/half and half
2 sticks string cheese
3 chicken wings
Grilled Chicken breast
Salad with Italian Dressing (not sugar free but only 1 carb per tbs)
I have the shake I didn't drink at breakfast in case I get snacky tonight.
I took a 1 mile walk when I got home from work.
Now I have to pack for my work trip tomorrow.
Have a great evening ladies!
Meg

I'm not too adventurous with my eating, but this is what we eat. (hubby is doing this with me)

B: atkins shake or if out of atkins shakes very rare I will have eggs and sausage links or bacon and eggs.

L: big tossed salad, salad with steak, lunch meat, almonds, cheese, I usually just snack for lunch

D: pork chops, roast, pizza bake (our favorite),steaks, burgers without bun, meatloaf, chicken with cheese and mozzarella cheese, salad, mushrooms,

S:almonds, lc ice cream treats, sugar free jello with whip cream, cream cheese sweetened with splenda. Last night I had 3 oz cream cheese, tbsp of peanut butter and splenda, microwaved it for 30 seconds, mixed it all together and voila. Yummy.

Today I ate:
B: Atkins shake
L: celery and ranch dip, 2 slices of american cheese
S: lc ice cream treat
D: chicken tacos minus the taco, I put ours in lettuce leaves with sour cream and cheese
S: almonds and 10 peperoni.

I also did ZUMBA today.

And drank 100 oz of water.

I hope this helps. I usually post my menus in my journal if you want to pop in, the link is in my signature.

Hun try the cream cheese rolled in the jello powder or the jello fluff stuff OMG that is good, I need to find that recipe. I am thinking a turkey meatloaf tonight, I have some nasty pork rinds that I crush and put in instead of bread crumbs

Sounds but watch out for the sodium in the pork rinds.

If you find recipes please post.

Thanks for adding me Amber.

I'm working out daily! Last night I worked out at 10:45pm just to be sure I got a workout in that day since I set the goal of doping the video workout every day in May.

Hey all!

Wow, Psoutherner - exercising at 10:45PM, good for you!!!

WittyKitty - definitely YES on the carboholic bracelet! How about a big bell around the neck too, a notifier on the license plate, the mailbox, carb offender registry at the local police station...I could go on

Melanie - nice job on the menu!! ANd to have hubby on same plan is priceless!

Meg - you too, nice menu & exercise and accountability!! Yeah!

Jayce - what a nice photo of you!

Niki - it's a GOOD pain after a workout, your arms are telling you they are really happy to be pushed!!

I did 45 min lunch walk, and then at home did 15 min treadmill, lots of dumbbell/arms and ab crunches while hubby made his fish chowder (and my salmon & roast cauli/broc was cooking)...this morning's weigh-in was DOWN 2.2 so I am losing the sodium bloat which is good.

Got the meals all planned and prepped for today and hope I can get a walk in between the periods of rain....

Live_Free: Thank you!

Melanie: Thanks so much...I wrote down ideas. You've done so well in a short amount of time. That cc, pb, & Splenda mixture sounds delish!

Amber: I may have to try your meatloaf recipe...I love meatloaf (if it's made right, lol).

Went to gym this morning for 1st time in months...did W1D1 of Couch 2 5K on the treadmill. Gonna start from square one again! Think I will dance tonight too.

Both the rinds & Worcestershire would do me in sodium wise! I think sometimes I joined the NFL (no fun league) when I got older...so many things I cant consume that make food . However, I am not complaining. As long as I can have my turkey burger every day with loads of onions & a little low fat cheese melted on it...I AM GOOD! not missing a thing!

I liked what I saw on the scale today! But forgot what it was! Every night my legs are so puffy & there is a huge indentation where the top of my socks are (I wear them all day as I cant stand shoes but cant tollerate going bare foot either) & when I wake up my legs look normal. I guess something isnt right yet...will ask my NP next time I see her.

to everyone!

Hello friends!!!! You will never believe what I was able to squeeze into today... And I do mean squeeze. They buttoned but were a little tight.... a size 16 at Target!!!! I was so happy. Of course I bought them and figure I will wear them tight now with a baggier top and then as I lose more weight, shrink into them.

Amber~ Thanks, I forgot I saw that recipe this week. I want to make the jello fluff for a picnic memorial weekend so I better practice this weekend.

Livefree~ It sure is. And it has helped out my oldest daughter as well. She had gotten a little pudgy but is slimming down now. No sweets in the house has helped tremendously!!!!

Jayce~ Thanks, it has been a process, but a learning process as well. It has changed how I look at food completely. I hope you can get the swelling figured out.

faithful~ YAY for the good number... whatever it might be.

Jenny~ We don't have one of those close to us, but it sounds yummy!!!

Thought I would share...Last night I found a website when searching for what my ideal weight should be that talked about frame. I had always thought I was a large frame. My mom always told me that I was big boned. So I came across a website that said that you measure your wrist and depending on what it measures you are small, medium or large frame. I am medium frame. The healthy weight range for my height is 114 to 158. They say as a medium frame you should aim for the middle of that range. So I figure 135. I am going to see once I get to 150 and then go from there.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I injured my knee so I've been taking it easy, but I'm all better now and I am getting back on track!! I gained about 10 lbs that's what happens I guess when you can't do anything but sit on your butt haha Ohhhh well. I'm going to keep up working hard though and am hoping it comes off! Wish me luck!!

Paranoid- WTG you get a huge gold star working out at 10:45 I love it!!! You are so pretty! Nice to see your face!

Nancy you are walking those pounds off!

Melanie- Sorry about your knee hun, dont let being inactive be an excuse for poor eating I sat for 8 weeks and you have to be so careful, I swear I was so depressed and miserable I could have gotten to 300 pounds in those 8 weeks, but it will get better do some arm exercises too.

Didnt make the meatloaf since it got to 85 here yesterday made taco salad instead sans tortillas. My son could live on tacos I swear!

I don't know what to have tonight I am trying to pull stuff out of the freezer my son had to sell those frozen pizzas for baseball, so I have no room for them, but he loves them and I hate them, so that is good, they are quick for nights he has practice. I have my cardio fusion class this morning, I lifted something wrong yesterday my arm is killing me.

I am thinking I might do salmon on a bed of spinach salad, I dont think it is suppose to be as hot here today but that is usually pretty taste.

Today is 4 months of not smoking, I cannot believe it!

Amber - yeah!! 4 months is huge success. Thank you for the compliment.

Melanie- I'm going to check out that site. I am likely a medium too but have always assumed I was large. Strangest thing when I started losing weight my wrist got smaller really quick all the bracelets I wouldn't wear cause they were tight suddenly it seemed were lose! Next to go was boobs finally after 25 lbs the stomach had to start down heehee.

I had to move to adding round two to the workout yesterday. I was happy to finish it though I barely got through the modified version of the exercises. When Bob said if this is the end of your fourth week...I knew it was over and yelled "Thank you Jesus!" my husband heard and just laughed. But he did point out that two months ago I couldn't even get past the first minute of that round. I couldn't do jumping jacks either two months ago but I can now!
Y'all have a great day!

167.8 tis morning...clean eating works....I am not too excited just glad the number didn't get into the 70s or I would have been concerned.

I opened my windows to a cool spring breeze here in KY this morning. Makes me think I should have left them opened all night! Family going to be here tomorrow for a few years (or longer). The sights & sounds of family back on the old homeplace will be terrific. Love it when I see kids shooting hoops on dads BB Goal! Fond memories (the few I have left in my brain).

BTW I noticed something terrific! My brain has been functioning much better of late! Could it be a year of clean eating & adding VCO & REL Butter to my diet has given it the nutrients it needs to get well? I think maybe. Have friends with FIBRO & told them to decrease the carbs & add butter & VCO to their diets to see if their thought process gets out of the "fibro fog" as well. Just a good side benefit of clean eating!

Have a great day !!! I have a few big projects to do moving stuff in garage & putting tile in a corner of the garage floor where 2 refrigerators will go getting ready for tomorrow. Hugs

Checking in from the road!
Did great yesterday...I am feeling induction flu-y today...
No good bfast options at the hotel, so I just had coffee and half/half.
I am doing a lunch training and I ordered fajita bar for the sales team, so I will eat tortilla-less fajitas for brunch!
Some sort of salad with protein for dinner...driving from Virginia Beach to Richmond this evening, so I don't know where we will stop, but I'm sure I can get that!
not much chance for excercise today...I'll be to beat by the time I get to my next hotel...but tommorow I should get home in time to walk in the evening!

Well, still doing well this week. I've exercised 3 days in a row. Yesterday it was pushing the lawn mower, only pushed for 30 minutes as I had choir practice to get to. I ate well. Didn't eat dinner until after 8:30- so no snacking after dinner.

I was down .5 pound this morning. Going to my inlaws tonight. Can you say stress eating? Wish me luck this weekend.

Happy, I'm medium framed and some of my 16's are tight. I know you're younger but you must be in much better physical shape to be wearing a 16. Good for you.

Janice

So I checked out those links, looks like I'm large framed- my wrist is like 6.5"....

"Your ideal weight is between 107.79 pounds (48kg) and 145.08 pounds (65kg). Since you have a large frame, you can allow your weight to reach the higher end of the band at 145.08 pounds (65kg)"

That sounds about right, I definitely think even 145 might leave me a little bit bobblehead looking, but I just plan on heading that direction and figuring it out as I go

On the subject of 16's- I HATE sizing!!!!!!! I actually have a pair or 2 of 16s that I can wear, which does NOT make sense when compared to you ladies! Especially since I'm much shorter and very bottom heavy!

Happy2be- Congrats on the 16s!

Cassidy- WTG on the running

Iam- I'm so excited for you! It will be such a wonderful change to have the kids always around. for a smooth transition.

Janice- Keep it up!

Paranoid- Yes, it's amazing how quickly you can build strength when you're consistent.

Sara- Don't get me started on sizing. Right now I'm wearing anything from 11 to an 18. Makes no sense.

I'm large framed. No suprise there Lol. According to them I should be between 104 and 140. I'll be happy to hit 160, then go from there. I'm still on plan. I re-started the 30 day shred today. I can't believe how much strength I've lost since I stopped it in the fall. I couldn't even do all the pushups - not even on my knees!

Let's keep it up badgers! We can do this!
