Well scale finally moved a bit, after I moved it to a different spot, lol, and got on it 3 times. But still not at the low I was last Saturday. I'm already eating small portions, only thing I can think of to do is knock off the HWC for a while. *sniff* And that is a good part of why I choose this woe so I don't really want to. I could be building muscle come to think of it as I have done 20 tours at the art museum and botanic gardens in the last 3 and a half weeks, and that is a lot of walking and standing. I am just glad to be saying that actually, last year at this time no way I could have done that!! I have come along way. I will just try and be patient and follow the course, maybe cut down to 1 cuppa joe per day w/ hwc, and switch to tea the rest of the day.

Lynn! Look at you...going downward!

Carry on everyone!

I'm still up... I have been eating on plan, not sure what is going on, and I am getting down about it. Mind you it has been a rough week. My mat. leave is over and i started back to work Monday, so its been hard leaving my little guy for the first time for a full day this week.
But I am carrying on... still eating on plan, have my desk stocked with my LC snacks for when the bring in snacks like the delicious Lemon meringue Pie (that I passed up) yesterday!
Hope I can celebrate a loss sometime this week with the rest of you!

Boop, somewhere I missed that you have a brand new little one! Congratulations! Going back to work afterward is so so so tough! It does get easier, but man, I know it's rough at first! Hang in there!

Awww, he's still a little guy and at my favorite stage, where it seems like they're noticing and learning something new every day. I haven't worked for a few years, but I'm a preschool teacher. Babies & dogs are my true passions in life. Enjoy your little man.

Yeah, I'm still up the 2 from yesterday, too

Melanie, you will certainly be missed around here. Seems our little group is getting smaller and smaller

I'm with the rest of you on the patience thing. Still up, have no idea why, but haven't been eating much CO, so going to up it again. Seems to do the trick most of the time. (fingers crossed!)

Melanie, please don't be a stranger!

Hugs to MsWoods, heidi, boop.

I didn't exercise at all yesterday. Long day and went to bed at 9pm.

Today for lunch, I ate pizza toppings. This morning was the sausage & egg from my McMuffin. Tonight I need to exercise. Does anyone else have a mini-panic attack when they think they've eaten the wrong thing or too much of a good thing? That's how I've felt the last day or so, and because I was just too tired yesterday my anxiety/fear is even higher. I know it doesn't make sense but I so desperately want this weight off!!!

I'm here!

Just having a struggling day already. My 7 year old got sent home from school with a rash (turned out to be soap-related, nothing to worry about, after going to the doctor this morning) and I have a publishing deadline I'm trying not to miss. Which is today.

Melanie, we will miss you!

Bronwyn, you're doing great. The pizza toppings sound delicious, I notice you eat that pretty often so there must be a pizza place near you. I love pizza too!!

MsWoods, I'm glad to hear from you anyway!! Keep the faith, girl!!

For the rest of us...come on, scales, MOVE!!!

Lynne

P.S. 187 this morning.

I'm here I'm here!

Sounds like we are all having some issues this week Hang in there girls. Next week can't be worse. On a plus note, I think I have my cravings under control today so much better than the last oh 5 days or so. I stayed low carb which is awesome but I loose my appetite during TOM so only eat things that sound good, unfortunately that usually involves some version of cream cheese, splenda, and almond flour in a cheesecake resembling, well, cheesecake or other yummy goodness.

I'm also fighting with the soda demon. I was completely off of the stuff and then got dragged back into it, but I will overcome

So clean eating today and only water.

Hello all,
Sounds like its not just me in a funk these days... Sounds like there are various problems going around... But Hang in there! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!
I have had a hard time getting on the computer in the mornings as I am getting used to the getting back to work routine... But I'm still hanging in and staying on plan, even made it to the gym for BodyFlow tonight (first time at gym since saturday).
Still haven't seen that low again... Hoping soon though!

Hang in there Gals! There's still a lot of time left on this challenge.... about 6 weeks? Enough to make a huge difference in how we look and fee for the summer! I'm down one of the two from my upward bounce. Hopefully that's a sign that the scale will start moving again! Things are definitely so much slower this time around, but I'm still down 35 pounds since February, so kind of hard to complain.

I'm still around too, just not weighing at the moment. Life's been real busy lately and I have another weekend trying to help my Aunt get her house ready to sell. I'm really looking forward to a relaxing weekend sometime soon. BBQ at work today, burgers and salad for me.

Still at 221.5! Kind of surprised consider the sodium in the pizza toppings. Lynne anything pizza related is now a special treat because my husband is fructose and lactose intolerant! I hate it for him so I try not to eating things he can't in front of him.

Even after our 6 weeks, maybe we can edit the thread name and continue into fall or something.

I'm hopeful to see 219 by next Saturday!

I'd like that!!

I don't really want to lose the momentum I've been building with this fabulous group of losers - I want to take it all off.

Challenge name? Taking it all off in the summertime!!

We're all hanging in there together, which is just fine. I think the pauses are as much a part of the symphony as the music. (I wish I could take credit for that, but somebody else said it. Don't remember who.)

Let's enjoy the scenery on our journey!! I mean, when are we ever going to have the opportunity to be half-way to thin again together if not now??

Lynne

P.S. 187 still.

I'd be up for that! I think we will need each other for the long haul. Good luck on making the teens, go for it! That will be a benchmark moment for me too when it happens.

I'm claiming a Whoosssh! I'm down the 2 lbs I 'floated' up from last Sat thru Monday (for some mysterious reason), and now another 2 came off since Wednesday! Patience and perseverance won out! I can almost see the 20's!

Only another 9 lbs till the $500 that dh will owe me for losing 50 lbs first! I'm still one lb shy of this weeks goal, but I have another couple of days to get that off.

Maybe if we post our menus/food logs again that would help?!

Yesterday
B--odd I know, but I had Progresso's lite chicken noodle soup because it is filling and satisfying for me and I was tired of eggs
L--Leftover Cold chicken slices dipped in mayo
D--Roasted Cauliflower almond and cream soup (homemade), and I splurged on King Crab Legs with butter (yummm!), v small portion peas

Snack--slivered almonds, lots of tea and water yesterday

Today
B--cold chicken slices dipped in mayo
L--leftover cauliflw soup
D--Kielbasa and steamed broccoli with butter
Snack--more cold chicken and mayo if I get the munchies

Who's committed for the weekend?!

Raise your hand!

Let's get this done!

~

Great Job Heidi! Pass some of that weigh loss this way.

Tom is over and I'm ready to lose some major weight. 186 this morning so just 1 pound above my lowest. Hoping to loose at least 2 more this week, a girl can dream

I love the support you guys provide. Sometimes when I think about being bad (my husband may have suggested krispy kremes earlier) I think about being accountable on here and my promise to this challenge and I'm able to decline (and he doesn't get them either, that naughty boy)

I have been fat my entire adult life and I'm ready to leave that one in the dust.
