I'm down 1 of the 3 I gained over the weekend. My leg and butt muscles are still really sore and tonight I have bowling. Hopefully the movement will help get my muscles to loosen up a bit. My sunburns been uncomfortable too, especially at night and I've not slept well.

I grilled some steaks last night and made sure I made an extra one for my lunch today, but when I went to get it this morning it was gone. We have a friend staying in a camper in our driveway and I think he came in and ate it. I guess I need to hide what I don't want eaten. So it's tuna with mayo for me today.

193. I'm not sure what's going on with my scale, my pants, and my body......but I've decided to just keep on keeping on, it's been working until now, why fix it if it ain't broke, and not worry about my temporary glitch.

That's a whole lot easier to say than to do.

Congratulations to all the losers!!

Yay Boop!!!

The scale really wanted to bounce to 248 today, but landed squarely on 249 each time. I'm not going to stress over it. Hopefully it'll change soon.

Hope everyone's doing well or at least hanging in there despite the scale being a scrooge

finally back under 200 again. I just started the 30 Day Shred a couple days ago, and I'm hoping that'll help move my body into gear. If nothing else, i want to lose some inches.

Cool Amy. Thanks. Amanda, I (sheepishly) gave up trying to catch up from what I missed over the weekend... it's gonna be a repeat this weekend I'm afraid. I'm still rooting for all of you, though!

I'm starting to feel a bit better, havent took anything for my cold besides aleve, but my eating hasn't been the best. All LC, but some quest bars (they are awesome btw), and eating more carbs/cals than I normally would, so Ive been staying off the scale. Oh and salty food too, yeah. And not getting my workouts in but that's over with.
Me and m bf have been having some tiffs, and yesterday when I got home he said he got me an appointment with our tattoo artist for May 23rd, to either elaborate on my last tattoo or get something new. That was going to be my reward for when I hit 199. Well I haven't hit 199 so by May 23rd, I have to be in Onderland. I HAVE to. Don't have a choice. So I know I'm up from 208, but I'm on my weight loss grind again. Gotta do it. I was already supposed to have got my tongue pierced when I hit 214, but haven't, but shoot, may do it just so I can keep my mouth busy

I will post a menu when I figure that sucker out.

I'm not very happy about the camper but he and DH go way back and he just split from his woman. Hopefully after tomorrow he will be back at his parents house. On the bright side, he has done a ton of work for us around the house and cleaned up the back yard for me, he just needs to keep his paws of my steak.

So I'm back under 160(159.4) and I believe I'm back to wanting to lose a little more. Small goal of 155 for now and then I'll see how I feel. I may do better with baby steps.

Cathy, Whatever you're doing, it seems to be working! Keep it up!!

Boop, good on ya!! You deserve your moment in the sun on the losers list!!

AmyLiz, congratulations on getting down below 200 again. That's such a big milestone psychologically. I hope you're feeling better now, too.

Amanda, hang in there girl, I'm in the same boat as you. And btw how tall are you? I weigh the same as you and there's no way I'd fit into a size 8 dress. Yes, I was lurking on your other thread.

MsWoods, I think it's not a bad idea to do something different for a few days like you did - a few more carbs, some salty stuff. Now you're ready to dive down below 200 by May 23rd. Right? It's all part of the scenery of the journey.

Lynne

P.S. 191, or 193, or 195. Depending on how I wrinkle my nose while standing on my stupid useless scale.

MsWoods I love your new avatar!

Sorry to say, this is yet another drive-by post. My husband has been hogging the computer at night for college football recruiting and I'm not much of an early riser. I get a 30 minute lunch most days so not much time here.

I don't know how I did it, but the scale said 224.5 this morning. I'm trying to do a walking DVD at least 3 nights a week so maybe that's it. My goal was to see 225 but am shocked that it happened so quickly. The 2 liters of water I drink every day at work is probably helping too!

Everyone is doing great - let's keep this thing going!!!

I would do just about anything for something sweet right now. I am staying out of the kitchen cause I have a chocolate stash... and I refuse to break down tonight. I read somewhere that someone eats a dill pickle when they crave sweet things. I may try that. Stay strong... we can do this!!!

Still here but nothing to say. Went back up to 190 this morning for no apparent reason but seem to be bouncing down in the general direction so I'll take it for now. I'm getting rid of all artificial sweetener to see if that helps. Who knows.

Laila23 -
Amanda - 20 min drive! was it worth it? I may have to try some of those... I have been craving something sweet for over a week off and on now, but last night was really craving lol so I went to bed.
Elise - hang in there... hopefully the cutting sweetners will help!

I have done 2 days of M/E and am down again!! 222.8! I am so happy to see the scale moving again.

I didn't weight today, DH didn't have to work today and when he's home it just throws off my schedule and I forgot to get on the scale before my shower.

We did go out to eat last night and I'm usually up a pound or 2 from it, but I stayed on plan and had steak and shrimp(with lots of butter). It was really good but I'm sure it had a ton of sodium in it.

Have a great day everyone!

Thanks Cathy! That little loss pushed my bmi under 40 on ****** for the first time since restarting and made my weight loss goal chart (this challenge) not look too shabby. Funny how a couple of pounds can be so motivating! lol

192 this morning. Maybe. I leaned forward and then backward and took the average of the two weights.

I'm taking a break from my scale until the end of the month, y'all. I can't deal with it right now. I'm just betting on the fact that my body hasn't really figured out a way to maintain or gain on 1000 calories a day of low carb food. If it has, I raise a toast to its incredible efficiency (considering I am full of energy all day despite fasting), and offer my body to science as a metabolic miracle.

Amanda, thank goodness for lc products like that!! Sometimes only chocolate will do.

Brewstate, it might be the sweetener, you never know. We're just one big experiment, right? Worse, what worked yesterday might need to be tweaked today. Or not. The general direction of down is good enough.

Lynne
