Poor AmyLiz . Sorry to hear that you're having problems. Is this spotting normal for you? I see you are quite young. Don't worry, you'll be back down in no time.

Thanks, Lynne - next time I talk with my sister, I'll tell that I know someone in her neck of the woods.

btw - do any of you Pinterest??

Thanks

Spotting really isn't normal for me, I've always had regular cycles, but since starting LC, i see a lot of spotting and breakthrough bleeding....it usually doesn't amount to much, so i'm not too worried about it.

Just doing a quick fly by as I head out the door, but see some nice losses up there! Nice job ladies!!!

I'm still at 250. It wanted to teeter to 249, though. I swear it did. lol Maybe tomorrow. Going to be a busy weekend, so water will be the issue. Hope everyone is getting a taste of this sunshine! We had to turn the A/C on last night for the first time this year.

Well I was back at 226 today... and TOM finally showed. So I am hoping in a few days all will be back to normal, and I will be back to seeing the numbers drop!

I'm having hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill tonight and have opened a bottle of wine. Not sure how the alcohol will effect my weight but we'll see.

You can do it, Librarian! We're all here to support one another.

It's a dull and rainy morning here and it's supposed to rain all day. The scale said 227.5 this morning but it's from last night's dinner and wine. Need to hydrate today!

Weighed in on Friday. 208. I did briefly see 207.2 but that's ok. I passed my goal. I'm def. not weighing again until next Friday because I've been sicker than a dog, and ate too much LC comfort food. I'm still really sick today. (Cold sick not stomach flu, what the heck is going on with all my lc friends, everyone is sick)

This week it all depends on how I feel. Today Im skipping working out. I just can't. So I would be happy to maintain or see any loss for next week.

The scale finally moved to 249 this morning... hope it's not just dehydration or something stupid, but going to claim it and hope the scale keeps moving. Keep up the great work everyone! I'm going to have to find some time to catch up with all of you tomorrow. Enjoy what's left of this wonderful weekend!

Yay Tami!

I've had a good week in every respect except for my woe, not totally on plan and haven't weighed, just been way too busy and didn't cook like I've done religiously for the last 3 months which I'm sure has been a big factor in my good losses. When ya don't cook, ya know what happens.

Anyway I'm sure I'm up a lb or 2, I'll weigh tomorrow and start cooking again, pushing the fluids and drinking my tea! Should be an easier week work-wise, hopefully.

Goal for this week: I want to lose 4 lbs and goshdarnit, I am going to do it!

I was so looking forward to a relaxing lovely Sunday and dh has been a jerk today. Gardening is supposed to be A HOBBY--fun and easy and relaxing, not a chore! I don't know what his problem is today I think he has a bee up his you know what.

See you all tomorrow, let's all have a GREAT week, k?!

I had a busy, fun, wonderful weekend but weighed in today 3 lbs up. Stayed on plan for the most part so I know it has to be the fact that I'm so sore I can hardly move, and I have a lovely sunburn to boot.
The weather was so nice I got a chance to get to my flower beds and weed them and get them ready. I then managed to spend a small fortune on some annuals and spent the rest of the weekend planting the flower beds, 5 hanging baskets, and 12 big pots.

Way to go Jenny!

I was back up one this morning, but that's ok. I was up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night and drank a huge cup of water. Hopefully I can lose another pound or two before this weekend which will also be super busy. Fun stuff, but busy none the less

Cathy, I bet your flowers are gorgeous! I love walking out and seeing something pretty. At the moment I have two balloon flowers and a strawberry plant making a nice comeback from last year. lol. Will have to work on that in a couple of weeks. lol

Tami~ The scale will start moving in the right direction. How much water do you drink a day? I just ask because you said something about maybe dehydration?

I try to get in at least 96 ounces (four of my 24 ounce tervis tumblers a day), which is probably not quite enough for my weight. I try to get that 5th one in there, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Saturday, though, I was out all day and had one maybe two after I got home. I was on my feet all day and my legs & back were sore, so I have a feeling I was a bit dehydrated Saturday eve. Yesterday was better and I got 3 cups, plus a small water bottle in. I generally don't have an issue with water, but when I'm out and busy I just forget to drink. I had a water bottle with me Sat and didn't touch it.

btw, for those of you still living without a Tervis Tumbler they are well worth the expensive price tag I held out for a long time, but now can't live without mine! I have a huge cup of coffee in it in the morning and then just rinse it out and fill with water all day. I even pop it in the microwave to make iced tea on a regular basis. Fill half to three quarters with water, add a tea bag or two, microwave for 3 minutes, add ice and go I got the sippy coffee lid and just use it all day. It even comes apart for easy washing. Love love love it!

Scale says 195 today.

Since I'm pretty sure I didn't gain 4 lbs overnight, lol, I'm wondering if I'm retaining water from sore muscles (gardening) and sunburn??

Anyway, it's annoying.

Also, since I'm complaining, my 7 year old is too sick to go to school today and I have a big project I was really counting on some quiet alone time this week to finish.

I'm pretty sure lc ice cream is not a solution to this problem. Almost sure.

Hang in there, fellow challengers whose scales are telling abominable lies about our progress!! Let all the lying scales be caught and prosecuted!!

I bet it is the sore muscles and sunburn, seems like us Oregonians really enjoyed the sunshine this weekend.

I am back down to 225.6 today... so that is a start. I have been getting so frustrated though... My hubby has been doing LC(ish) with me, but cheats constantly with a coke here, chips there, the amount of peeps the guy has had since Easter is sickening, and he is still losing. Why are men blessed to lose so much faster than us??? I would love to be in the teens before I go back to work in 2 weeks... so that is my new mini goal! so 6 lb in 2 weeks! I know I can do it!

Congratulations to all the losers and chin up to those who are bouncing around!

Back at 226 this morning and hopefully will see 225 by week's end!

Still here and still struggling. Seeing 189 on the scale lately and just can't get below it. I'm still doing mostly M/E but accidentally had a huge amount of rum/coke zeros (Yuck!) on saturday night and was paying for it sunday. So hopefully after my body forgives me for that I'll start going down again.

Good morning everyone! Hope you are all doing well. Something here at least has given me some relief and I saw 187.4 this morning which is a new low

Either my scale or my body has been squirley lately and its been bouncing around. But I did nothing but eggs yesterday and am going to continue for 2 more days and see if I can't knock this out of the park.

Congrats on all the loses, you guys are blowing me away in this challenge but I promise I'll catch you eventually.

You guys are doing great. Sorry a few of us are struggling. Me too, well, was. Too many LC beers, and I tried a bottle (over 3 days) of the Skinny Girl Margarita, I had no idea it was LC and low cal! It's good! However, I can make my own zero carb margarita. But I wanted to try it.

So anyhoo, haven't weighed, may weigh Friday or may wait. But I did get through the night no alcohol and am back in the right mind frame. I was uber sick this weekend and I'm getting better, so that didn't help with the mindless snacking and eating high salt high calorie lc foods.
