Thanks Elise! I had to go re-count the weeks just to be sure. 8 it is. I just can't wait to really see and feel a difference. It's tough when you're this big, it just doesn't show quickly.

WooHoo to baggy pants, Michelle! Go get those 16's girl! Even if they don't fit now, which I'm sure they will, you'll be into them soon enough! I love it!

Good morning, everybody!

Scale said 195 this morning again, but this time it meant it. So that's all good.

I've got to share this article with you, if you haven't read it yet - it made me cry!

It's called Eight things I learned from 50 naked people. The point I took from it is that, to this massage therapist, you are truly, deeply beautiful - just the way you are right now - and your weight doesn't make that any less true.

Which I needed to hear.

Two minutes left on my 30 min lunch!
228 this morning!

Today is birthday party at work. It's hard not to eat sweets and high carb foods. Thus far it's been egg salad I made this morning, baked ham that someone brought, some celery, and provalone cheese. Diet Mt Dew as well.

Still coughing and gagging from chest cold, so no exercise again this week.

someone asked about artificial sweetener - I use it all the time!

Still jumping the scale. Hate this. I hate everything today. Emotional roller coaster for me lately, which makes it hard to stay on plan (but so far so good) Anyhoo, I'm gonna try n workout today. Maybe some sweat will make my mood improve?

I'm in the 30's!! 39 to be exact, didn't expect to get there till Saturday if even then! Haven't seen that, for gosh at least 3-4 years? I don't even remember...

Must be whoosh week for me. I'll take it.

YAAAY and for boop, bronwyn, lynne, and missy! GIRLS, we are rockin it! Michelle, WTG on the 18's, here come the 16's! Can't wait to see them myself.


As for AS, hasn't hurt me, it's usually the amount of food that does me in-that includes protein and fats. I had to lower them to get the scale moving again. Filling in with my 'secret weapons' --hot cinnamon and lemon tea, whenever I have them, I seem to lose!

Tami, 28 in 8 weeks! Fabulous job! What's your secret weapons?

WooHoo! Look at all these losers!!! Love love love it! Great job everyone!!!

No secret weapons here. VLC - under 20, eat when I'm hungry - don't when I'm not (though calories have been high this week) and drink as much water flavored with Mio as I can stand. lol I really haven't been exercising like I'd planned. That's still my tough spot.

Y'all would have laughed at my fat nekkid arse this morning on the scale, though. I joined that race to 5 pounds challenge a couple of week ago and today won the darned thing. I got on and off the scale, squinting at the little needle, making sure I couldn't see the 250 line at all, then called hubby in and made him look as I stepped on and off a couple more times! lol I really didn't want to win the challenge being the newbie, but I am quite happy to see that scale moving down down down!

Yay Heidi!

I'm so excited I found Quest bars...get this, at Golds Gym! No where else in my town, and I haven't wanted to order online, and my Golds have them. $3 a pop but I had to buy 3 to try them. I love that they are all natural and no sugar alcohols! I only took a few bites of the strawberry cheesecake (it does have 6g SA but that's nothing really). It was very good.

Well there is either something wrong with my scale or I'm doing something wrong, haven't lost in the past two weeks. I think it's the constant cheat days I've been having.......Anyway I'm back to clean eating and I've decided to join a gym, as soon as a get a good one close to where I stay. Otherwise, despite the lack of weight loss my clothes are fitting better, some are actually getting loose. I guess it's the magic of low carb. Hope you're all doing great.

Had a good day!!! I need to go to bed. I am hungry, and I'm contemplating eating a few almonds or going to bed. I should have ate more for dinner but didn't have time.

sugar free jello.
128 oz!!! WOO WOO. Although I probably shouldn't have drank the last 30 ozs of the day at 9:30 pm. I was in the bathroom every 15 minutes.

I am up again 227.4 . But it seems to be a pattern. I drop to a new low. Then bounce for a week or so. Either that that or my moms new scale has gone wonky again. (before bed I stupidly decided to weigh... And I was 119!!!!!haha. I know it was wrong, and her scale was playing games... But now I wanna see that number for real!

You guys sound like me a few weeks ago. At first the not weighing was driving me nuts, but I really needed the break. I can tell in my clothes and face I'm so small so Ive been ok. I will be weighing soon, though. Next week sometime. Dunno when.

I love this week! Dh says my butt is melting off.

Congrats to the LOSERS , hang in there those floating upwards, it's just for a day, commit to the plan!

My scale doesn't show increments other than .0 or .5. Today it's 227.5!

Everyone is doing a great job and even if the scale is bouncing or not moving at all! I'm so proud of all of us!

So tell me guys, what kinds of vegetables do you eat? I go back and forth between chiding myself for not eating enough for my health and deciding I'm eating too many for weight loss. Types and quantities please.

194 this morning.

Vegetables...1 and a half cups of coleslaw mix (that's cabbage and shredded carrots). A few slices of yellow or red bell pepper with it, and a slice of onion.

2 cups of broccoli. A whole head of cauliflower. A half-pound of green beans.

Not all on the same day, hehe. But I tend to eat a lot of vegetables with dinner. It doesn't seem to stop my weight loss or slow me down. I don't worry about eating tomatoes or onions or carrots or squash, either - veggie carbs don't seem to derail me. (Not potatoes, lol.)

I can always tell when a pound comes off, because my knees feel like they got WD-40'ed. It feels so good!

Good job, everybody!! Keep up the good work!!

Yay more losers! Congrats ladies!

I'm pretty hit and miss with veggies. When we go out to my favorite mongolian bbq place I load up on broccoli & zucchini with a little bit of onions & spinach mixed w/ a good portion of various meats. Other than that, a salad a few times a week with some cucumbers & maybe tomatoes and occasionally a cup or so of broccoli or green beans w/ dinner. More would be better, I'm sure.

222 this morning

B: atkins shake
L: 2 pieces of celery
8 pieces of bacon with 2 tbsp mayo
D: meatballs in hunts tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese

After dropping dd1 off at school, dd2 and I went to the park and I pushed dd2in her stroller for 1.5 miles. Oh and on the last little stretch of the walk I RAN for short little intervals. THIS IS HUGE, as I hate to run, but said to myself, You need to kick up your heart rate a little bit and so I ran 4 short intervals. Then once we got back to the car, we ran and played through the outfield of the baseball field for about 15 minutes. Going to Zumba tonight and contemplating wearing weights on my arms to see if I can get a little arm workout as I ZUMBA..


This is crazy, but after I got back I was reflecting on this and realized I wasted most of my adult life not being active. I loved playing sports in school. Maybe now as I am losing weight and feeling better I can find an adult league for Hubby and I to be on. WHOA!!!

I weighed in today at 229. My first goal was to get back in the 220s...next goal is to get in the 2-teens!! Going to work out after work today.

I had pizza last night and not only am I up 4 lbs, I had the worst tummy ache and could not sleep last. Doing strict low carb the next few days to get back down to my goal weight and then I will start to climb back up the carb ladder. I'm just looking for that magic number of carbs so that I'm satisfied but not gaining.
