Well, yeah, Cathy, that's basically what I'm trying to do lol. For me, that's "not weighing" lol. For right now anyway.

I am here too... and also having scale issues. I thought I could weigh every other day... lol but I cannot. I am weighing daily... and it is not going well. I am up again/still... I know it is to be expected to have bounces. But I have been bouncing around 233 since MARCH 17!!! I saw a few drops, and now I am up again. I just don't know why!!! I recently decided to try JUDDD... It seemed to be working. So I am just sticking with it, and hoping tomorrow I see results again!
One day at a time! We can do this!

I'm still here, too. With cold medicine and antibiotics, there's no sense in weighing myself and getting depressed that my weight is up.

Still cheering all of you on!

WOE: Carbohydrate Addicts Diet
Hi all -
I haven't been here as much lately because it's been spring break and I couldn't use my computer with my 7 year old in the house. He is incredibly jealous of it.

198 this morning, so not dropping off 1/2 pound a day like I'd want. It's hard to stay positive when a lot of effort seems to be getting no results. However. The bottom line is that I lost 17 pounds last month, even with the meandering up and down road the scale took to get there!

I need to get some of that glucomannan pudding. I've started making flax/coconut flour muffins, but they're really dense and heavy and full of calories.

Suggestions for getting more fiber in a yummy way, anyone?

Lynne

You have to make the glucomannan pudding. It's just almond milk, glucc powder, (I add half a bag of miracle rice), and some sf syrup. Lots and lots of fiber. I get most of my fiber in via the konjac plant.

(I was about to ask if you were pg, your symptoms were so similar!)

MsWoods, definitely get a gel seat asap! I feel your pain!

I'm too lazy to go back and see who asked about HCG, sorry , but no I haven't tried that. It's not for me--I'm done with the starve yourself routine--I need food! And my philosophy is we need to learn how to eat to maintain for life, and that woe is not going to do the job. Plus the research I did on it said it is really just the placebo effect. We shouldn't have to suffer to get the job done, iykwim, sacrifice occasionally yes, suffer no.

Welp, Company's gone and though I indulged a bit, the scale said no loss, no gain, and I am very happy with that. Thanks for the support gang!

Cheesecake and other goodies are gone, so LOWCARB it is all the way for me now, and very small portions, I have 4 days till Sunday morning weigh-in!

I lost 13 lbs In March, I'm pleased. Not the 16 I was going for, but that goal was ambitious and helped me make the 13 I'm sure. Shooting for 3 lb loss in the next 4 days, it's possible, just got to focus!

Shoot for the Moon girls! Let's get MAD and DO IT!

You may be 'bound up' a bit, hang in there! You could eat some celery sticks to move things through. Are you getting enough fat, I think that makes the meat n eggs work better. Mayo! Buttah! Eat some! Are you exercing, moving in any way?

Hi Everybody! I've been gone for a while, off plan and hating myself, but am back, and even exercised 3 days in a row, on the treadmill my husband is threatening to sell if I don't use it. Anyway, you guys are amazing! I need to be reminded that we all go through rough patches, and the hardest rough patch of all is when you're doing everything right and the scale refuses to budge! But it always always will, if you keep doing what you know you need to do. Am determined to learn and LOSE!!!!

Glad to see you Emlyn!

Amgarette, are you watching your calories? Youre about 20lbs lighter than me and I have to watch mine or I don't lose.

I came home and searched for the scale. I was ready to weigh lol. My bf is a master scale hiding guru lol. Thank goodness. That is why I had him hide it. I have no will power.

Yay Amanda!

I'm up another pound to 255. So annoying. I'm still feeling dehydrated, but also felt nauseous yesterday and my ears are stuffy. I am not getting sick! Blah.

Ooooooooooooooh. You must be checking out Golds? I'm pretty sure they are the only ones that do the Les Mills classes. I've never taken a body pump class but I really want to, let me know how you like it? I do Body Combat and Body Step right now. I looooooooooooove body combat.

So I weighed in at............oh yeah I don't have a scale, I can't weigh Oh well, in my mind I'm kicking butt lol.

Great job Amgarrette!

Had a good on plan day yesterday but gave up on the meat and eggs. I ended up having a salad for lunch and asparagus and shrimp for dinner. I love my veggies too much to give them up completely.

Tomorrow is my weigh in and I know I will be up a few pounds after my week long vacation binge but that's life.

Thank you for this, MsWoods. I'm going to do this, because I need low-calorie fiber that I don't have to drink in a yucky glassful.

I've been eating flax muffins, but...you know how they make a concrete mess on the side of the cup when you make a OMM and don't put it in water right away? I'm wondering if it also sits in my intestine the same way if I don't drink enough water with it. Disturbing thought.

Lynne

P.S. 197 this morning.

Not Golds not sure we have Golds in Canada, but Goodlife... apparently its the only gym in Canada licensed for the Les Mills classes! It was really good, and I was excited to see those classes at my Gym... after I have seen all your posts re: Body Combat and Body Step! I wanted to try Body Combat, but they didn't have one today during the time they had childcare available during the day. But I survived the class, and really liked it, and think I am going to sign with this gym! Now I am looking forward to trying all the other classes!

I made a grave mistake today. After I got my hair cut and colored, I decided to take a photo of myself. Bad idea. I look horrible - I'm fat and old. My avatar photo was taken 4 years ago just before I started working in the dept I was forced to transfer into. I was on my way to finally getting in shape (weighed 187) and feeling good about myself, but I got depressed and stressed in my new job, and I let myself go.

Still, it could be worse. I'm back on the right track and will hopefully have all the weight off by the end of the year. I could have given into my pity party and eaten something I shouldn't, or could have had a good, stiff drink, but I didn't! I came here instead.

Thanks for listening and being a good support system. I hope I can be a help to someone else!

Don't worry about TMI - we've all been there and done that. I expect you'll be feeling better in a couple of days.
