My whole body is sore from body combat for the past 4 days. Today I have a step class which I'm welcoming with open arms. My arms need a rest lol. Getting as much exercise in as I can because I doubt I will get much until Saturday.

IDK about my menu today so I'll post when I know. So far:
B-coffee, sweet n low, lemon glucc pudding.
L-eggs or possibly an egg over veggie/tofu hash
S-2tbsp hummus on about 1 oz of ham.
D-IKD.

Good morning everyone. I had a very busy morning myself so far. My mother woke me at 5 am with shortness of breath so I ended up having to call her an ambulance to get her to the hospital. She had some fluid build up and had to have a breathing treatment before she went to dialysis(she had renal failure).

I got home from there and stepped on the scale(had not eaten anything yet) and I was up 1.5 lbs from yesterday. I know I shouldn't worry since I was weighing at a different time but I know I ate too many nuts yesterday and TOM is about to start. It's just frustrating because I was down to 155.5 and now back to 157.

B: 2 hotdogs (in a rush)
L: left over meatloaf, 1 deviled egg, 3 stuffed mushrooms.
d: Omelet with cheese and peppers.

Hi everybody!!!!

heidihoopi - funny you said something about celery because not too long after my post, I found some in the refrigerator and ate it!

misscobi - took 2 ducolax last night in hopes of relief in the morning.

Between the celery and pills all went well this morning and was rewarded with 231.5! So very excited! Tonight is weights and cardio.

MsWoods - good work there on the alcohol!

amgarrett616 - congratulations on being back in onederland! I hope to be there this summer!

Have a great day, and it's great to see everyone doing so well, even with TOM issues, etc.

Congratulations to everyone who's doing so well, and especially congratulations to everyone who is sticking with their determinations through stressful or difficult times. I'm proud to be part of this challenge, what a great group!

Cathy, I'm sorry to hear about your mom, and I hear you about the scale disappointment (even knowing there are good reasons for the weight bouncing around doesn't help). All I can say is "this too shall pass", and the scale will definitely bounce **down** next week; it has no choice.

201 this morning!

Lynne

Good luck Lynne! This is the week!

Cathy, how's your mom doing tonight? Is she staying overnight at the hospital?

Hallelujah, the scale cooperated and I am back down to my low....now onward and downward, lol.

Hi Everyone!

Cathy-- hope your mom is going to be all right this time. Really scary, those middle of the night ambulance trips. Frustrating about the weight gain, though. I don't even HAVE TOM anymore, and I still bounce all around. Grrrr.

Amgarrett--Congratulations on being back in onederland! That's such a game-changer, emotionally. And such an achievement!

Lynne--You're going to get there soon, I know.

I lost half a pound today, down to 188.6. Weekends are always a little harder for me, so hoping now that the week has started I'll get down to some serious losing! Plan to get on the treadmill, too. Just still tired from traveling and fighting off a cold, so told myself it was okay to slack off...

Everybody hang in there!!!

Thank you everyone for all the well wishes for my Mom, she is doing much better this evening. She is in end stage renal failure and has been on dialysis for over 5 years now. She still has a few years left in her but sometimes she has complications. She must have overdone it with fluids this weekend and since she doesn't urinate, it just builds up around her heart and lungs.

So anyway, she lives with me and my husband and I am her caretaker(on top of my 40 hour week job) but I enjoy having her near.

That's amazing that you are caring for your mom AND working 40 hours a week. Am in awe of you. Michelle's right, how very lucky she is to have you. Glad she's better for now!

Thank you so much. My brothers seem to think it's no big deal that I work a job, take care of my Mom, still raising my youngest son(16) and actually get my floor vacuumed a couple times a week. Of course I couldn't do it all without my DH helping me, he's a trooper. He folded laundry and washed the dishes last night so I could take a long bath.

So today I was down a pound to 156 but I'm feeling a little weak and dizzy. I may be a little dehydrated so I'm pushing the fluids today. TOM should be showing up any day now but I'm not having my normal PMS symptoms.

Anyway my Menu:
B: 2 hot dogs
L: tuna and mayo, green peppers
D: omelet

My goal for the week. 218. Big dreams from a former big girl

221.8. Yesssssssss. Finally got to move my ticker and my details off of 222.8. Tom is gone thankfully and some water is going with it. Right now, I'm only 1.2lbs above my all time LC low of 220.6.

I know my ticker/sig/and goal for this summer challenge is 199, but really, I want to see 214. The lowest I've been as an adult in my whole life is 215 when I was 18, and it didn't last terribly long.

I'm thinking about getting my tongue pierced when I hit 214 as a reward, and extending my shoulder tattoo as a reward when I hit 199.

Cathy, so glad you're mom is doing better. I don't envy your caretaker status, but I know it's a labor of love.

Michelle, Way to go!!! I'm so impressed and inspired by how well you're doing!

Lynne, you're soooo close to onederland! How exciting!!!

Em, congrats on the half pound! Certainly the right direction! I'd take it!

Heidi, yay for getting back to your low! I'm not there yet. grrr.

Bronwyn, nice to see a lower weight and a happier tummy! Great job!

I'm still at 260... annoying. I had meatloaf & leftover meatloaf this weekend, so was higher in calories than usual, but shouldn't have really had an effect. And I know I was low on water, but thought I had sufficiently remedied that yesterday? Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I have a huge (crazy probably impractical) goal of nearly 4 pounds a week until July 4th and if these slow weeks start piling up I won't make it. Not the end of the world and I know it was a rather ambitious goal, but would love to get there. Hmmm.

Hmm. You've inspired me to look for something to give myself as a reward! New clothes? Flowers?

My reward, at the moment, is that my knees feel a-MAZING. Nothing feels sore or creaky!! Funny thing to say maybe, but not insignificant when you're 44 years old!

Ms. Woods, I feel like I'm turning back the clock. Like you, it's been a looooong time since I've been this weight. I wanna celebrate. Also, I'm really inspired by your commitment to exercise! I've got so much energy that I want to go get one of those bouncy things, what are they called? A personal trampoline?

Good job, all!!

Lynne

P.S. Scale said 200 this morning....the suspense builds...drum roll please...

Down one lb this morning , on my way (I hope) to a 4 lb loss this week. Goal is 243. Having a 600 calorie day today, might be all yogurt, or protein only or lite soup, or a combo. Haven't decided yet, so far I've just had coffee. I need to get outside for a walk too.

3 more lbs to go....to make my goal this week, and I am determined to get there.

@ the fat.

I think it can. But I also think that it leads to a whoosh later on. And I think that's what my problem is too right now. I'm just not hungry and I refuse to force feed myself dang it.

We are gonna get there boop...

Good morning everyone! I have been MIA for a few weeks but always find my way home.

You are all doing so well. I am in total AWE of each and every one of you! Congratulations!

I am struggling. Back up to 225 this morning. ZERO loss for this challenge. BUT, I am having many issues right now. Wont bore you with details, but I am waiting to hear back from my Dr. on the ultrasound from Monday. May have a gallbladder issue. Pain is awful and after working an 8-9 hour day, I just have no energy or will power except to take a bath and get in my recliner. Cant sleep, cant move without pain, etc. UGH

But come Hell or high water, I am getting back on plan today!

Keep up the great work everyone, I am so proud to be part of this group!

Up .8 today. TOM finally showed up this morning so maybe I will see a big drop soon.

So it's like a winter wonderland outside this morning. We got a few inches of snow which is rare around here. School was canceled but I still had to get my butt to work. It sure is pretty though.

Ouch, Jody Hope the doctor has good news and a plan of action to ease your pain!

I'm still at 260. I'm really beginning to hate this number... I lost a total of 1 pound last week... That finishes up my 5th week on plan, eating clean, and I just didn't expect this slow down at this point. My cute little weight graph goal on ****** now has my marker ABOVE the 'goal line' and not below for the first time. Not happy. I've had a few higher calorie days lately. Have just seemed hungry, but even those higher calorie days are in the 12-1,400 range, never over 1,400. I should still be ok(?), but I'm going to try a few lower cal days and see how it goes. I usually average around 1,000 without making calories a focus, just eating clean induction level foods. We'll see.
