Does anyone know what is up with avocado?? It seems every time I eat one I don't loose a pound.. All I do is cut it up and rub olive oil and salt on it and grill it..

Hi Everyone!
Sorry I have been MIA for the last week. As I said in my previous posts I was about to have my TOM. Well now it's been over for two days an I am still up 1lb from my lowest weight. I am feeling extremely discouraged since I stuck to plan the whole time even seeing water weight which I expected. I had water weight for 8 days before my TOM an kept all of it about 3lbs until 2 days ago which would be 13 days after getting it in the first place. Do any of you ladies have any advice? I have been soon meat and eggs for 3 weeks now and had great luck my first week before t water weight gain for TOM. I am incredibly sad and discouraged

I have no wisdom- but can offer . I'm down NOTHING after 3 stricts ME weeks. I gave up and now I'm adding some veggies and cream cheese back in. I got to 193 after a week's vacation in Hawaii (I was very good with eating there). Since then, I've bounced between 194-197. ERRRRRRRR

HI SBW... I am wondering... how much water have you been drinking? Or what kind & how much beverage in general? I'm not very familiar with the M/E fast....but in a general sense, sometimes when we are holding water..it indicates a need to take in more water. (as oppositional as that sounds!)

I've run into a brick wall stall myself and am jumping on this M/E woe to see if I can restart my engines.

I've been fairly faithful to LC since the 2nd week in March and was losing initially. I say fairly* faithful because although I've stuck to the food choices like glue....I've definitely had too much coffee w/splenda...and I've had alcohol several times. (red wine and low carb beer).

So as of today:

2 cups coffee w/tsp VCO, splenda package, pinch hwc
2 eggs in 1/2 tsp butter
5 glasses water

I have eggs boiling to make deviled eggs as a go-to snack. Dinner will likely be wings or half a ribeye cooked in VCO.

The evenings are the hardest. I crave a hot, sweetened coffee so much in the evening...I supposed mostly because its a years long habit and I'm just plain addicted to the stuff.

Hi Tarrah and lowcarber!

Thank you for your sympathy . I was getting so frustrated. I know my hormones weren't helping either haha. I am down a 1lb today making me down 22 1/2lbs so far! Lowcarber have you tried liquid sweetener? You can get it dirt cheap at the grocery store. They are by different brands but are all the same. They have NO carbs whereas Splenda has less than 1g per packet which is why they can say 0g on the package but still it adds up. That is a stalker for me so I hope that might help you!

To me any kind you get at the store tastes the same. So I don't really have a brand I like most. You can add to your taste since there really are no carbs. If you want something you can use baking or carry in your purse there is something called EZ sweets on amazon and one drop is SO sweet. That stuff is amazing. It also has no carbs. I've been doing m&e for 22 days now and I plan to stick with it until goal. I only got 6 days of weight loss(4 1/lbs) before my water weight gain and TOM so I am really anxious to see what happens now. Day 8 to day 24 or so are my weight dropping days . Hormones will be the death of me if I don't get this weight off fast enough lol

Hi ladies! Been following along and decided to do a ME fast this week Mon-Thurs. then ME w/ vegies and some wine Fri-Sun. Hopefully lose a few. I had gotten to 134 on a 40 day round of hcg and have been struggling w/ 1-5 lbs.up and down for the last 4 weeks (my fault!!!) I would love to get into the 120 by summer if I can behave!
Today will actually be a mac nut FF because I bought some and today would be a good day to do it (busy!) Will report in tomorrow!

Hi again! I'm up a half pound today and I know why. Yesterday was eggs/chicken.Then last night I got the munchies (bad I know) and I had two pieces of fruit. An orange and a few pieces of cantaloupe. Clearly, a weight gainer for me. Thanks for posting the menus btw of what you are eating. It gives me an idea of how much you all are eating and losing.

Hi Ladies!

My weight loss had been slowing down and I had been having trouble with water weight so I added a lot more fat in my food and coconut oil in my coffee(lots of it) and I am down 2 1/2lbs in 2 days! I am in my fourth week of meat and eggs. Just thought I would share about increasing fat intake since that really seems to help me a lot!

I have spent the last 4 days reading through this entire thread to get an idea of how this all works, I have never done a M&E fast but am planning to do my first run on Monday. Hopefully this thread will still be active at that time so I can join in. If this works well for me I may incorporate it into my eating plan once a month.
