Good morning everyone. Like everyone else my week has been hectic. Plus I've torn my rotator cuff on my left shoulder. No I'm right handled and I wasn't from lifting a fork too many times lol

For such a small tear it's surprisingly painful

I weighed in this morning and I'm down 3 punds this week which I'm very happy about. I'm going to set a goal for when I reach 170 (which I'm hoping to be there within 2 weeks). I just have to think of one

So far no cravings and no problems eating as per plan. I like this diet.

Bonus is I'm also off the cigarettes. I do struggle with that more than the food. For me starting this diet and quitting smoking is working. I'm not listening to some people who said I shouldn't try to do both at the same time. This is becoming my way of life now - low carb lifestyle and being a non smoker

I am doing good with the plan, but I think this week I ate a little bit too much, not off the plan, just too much.

Good morning everyone! Well, surprisingly, I am down 3.5 lbs from last Friday to 215.0.

Ds and I are going to start this gungho on Monday morning, I am making us both menus for 2 weeks and he is making us a workout chart. I will be doing treadmill and step aerobics on the wii. I know it isn't real energetic(step-aerobics), but I figure if I am not on my butt in the recliner with the cat in my lap, I'm doing something, so....

Stacidc and MinPinMommy!!! I have added you to our ever growing chart LOVE it when that happens!!!

Karen-so sorry to hear about your rotator cuff, that sucks! They are so painful! My husband was injured at work several years ago and I had to lift the wheelchair in and out of the Explorer and in and out of the house for months and months, and I did that with mine, and it was SOOOO painful! Mine thankfully was a small tear, and I have to be very careful with it, but no surgery for me. My grandma had to have surgery on both of hers, and I saw what she went through with it, not fun!! CONGRATS on quitting smoking! There are a lot of ex-smokers on this thread to give you support! Me one of them! Best thing you'll ever do!

Tania-if you need someone to carry your luggage to the bahamas, I'm always available

Liz-here's hoping things slow down for you a bit!!! Life itself can be so challenging sometimes.....

Everyone weigh in and I'll update the chart before I leave this afternoon!!! Hope we have LOTS of losers today!!!

Tasha- I would gladly take someone to carry luggage! I was teasing my friend that we should have picked a nudist resort so we don't have to pay the airline checked luggage fees. He was all for it of course.

Well I am down 4 pounds 196 this morning and I am thrilled. I have been doing WW points but keeping them really low and pushing the exercise. I did Wii Zumba last night and tonight I will do the 30 day Shredd.

Congrats to everyone who lost this week and Karen so happy for you about the smoking. I have never smoked so I don't get it but I have watched my sister struggle with it most of her life.

I think it is RIDICULOUS what they charge for baggage fees! I have learned to pare down and Dh and I usually share a suitcase and then we take a smaller one for shoes. But HATE paying baggage fees!!! Like they don't already charge enough for the tickets as it is!

HI to everyone new!!! I'm so excited and motivated to hop on here in the morning and hear of everyones success!!!

This morning I weighed in at 206.4- FINALLY back in the 6's... cheese and rice! I just can't seem to shake lower, i'm gonna get really tough this next week. About ten more pounds off, and i'll be able to pull off tank tops again... Since we are having highs in the mid-70's...

B: 2 turkey sausage patties
L: Steak Salad with cesar dressing
D: Undecided (trying to get boyfriend to take me to a mongolian bbq place) but if not that, then probably another steak.

MAS water water water!

My weight for today is 157...starting weight was 160 ..My goal for feb is to be under
150.. So. 8lbs to go..... I WILL DO IT!!!

Tasha - Very stressful day. My husband has been having head issues ( blurry sight, pressure in head around eyes, head pain and high PB. His is always low) The MD sent him to the eye Dr. The eye Dr ran tests and xrays. She found he has something behind the eye putting pressure on the eye. She also found something under the eye lid. Now he has to go see another MD and get a cat scan and whatever in the eye lid removed. They are all worried about the BP. Feb 1st is his next appt.

Good morning all. Congratulations for all the great losses and goals met. Speaking of goals for feb. I have a few too.

Weight loss for the month. I'd like to aim for 164 so that would be 14 pounds
Stay on a clean induction plan
Water intake 80 oz per day
Yoga go to the studio at 3 times a week even though I have to modify everything due to my shoulder being in a sling
Post more here. I believe by sharing our experiences we can all support each other. I haven't posted very much but I will start sharing as of now
Stay off the cigarettes
Walk as much as possible - just be careful of the ice that is all around me

Well ladies those are my goals. Here's to all of us meeting our goals.

Im still around. Sorry haven't posted in a while. Swamped at work Weighed in yesterday 168 woohoo. I am stoked. This low carb thingie is totally working for me. I have tried sooooo many diets in my many many yrs of living and this is the only thing that I am LOVING I am actually down 16lbs from this time last yr But, losing more with this life changing eating habits than anything else. I will try to stay more in touch with yall.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am sticking to plan and doing my 1 hours of exercise so I am pretty happy with that.

So my goal for Feb is only 8 pounds 2 per week is great for me because of the insulin resistance. I will be tickled to hit 188.

So what did everyone eat yesterday/what's on the menu for today??

I had a touch of a slip up last night.. my husband took me out to a nice dinner (which we never get to do anymore).. and I had a small piece of bread before dinner and two wagyu beef wontons... but then I had some sesame seared ahi tuna, a salad, and lemon butter chilean sea bass with green beans... soooo yummy.

today we slept in so i didn't have breakfast (we had an over night sitter so this was a treat).. but i did have lunch.. went to Culvers.. had the grilled chicken sandwich, bun free, and a side of seasoned green beans... Their grilled chicken is awesome if you haven't had it, i recommend it. I'm a little hungry right now.. and still yet to get to the grocery store.. what is everyone's favorite thing to snack on?

Hi everyone great to see everyone's goals. I've had a great weekend. Went shopping today after having breakfast with my son. Buffet - bacon eggs and a grilled tomato. Tried on some pants and I bought a new pair. Size 12 so I'm happy!!!!

For dinner I made a chicken dish that was deliscious. I sautéd a sliced chicken breast while that was on warm I put 1 cup of whipping cream in a pot and slowly brought that to a light boil and then added 1 cup of crumbled blue cheese. Whisked until creamy

Chicken. Cream and blue cheese 0 carbs. A winner!!!!

I'm going to try yoga tomorrow night I'm sure it can be modified so I don't hurt my shoulder. I do miss going

Question. How did you deceide what your goal weight should be?

Well since I follow a modified Weight Watchers This is my day of food. I have insulin resistance and can't eat 26 points and lose weight.

Breakfast: 1/2 lowfat cottage cheese with blue berries 1 point
Snack: vegetable soup 2 points
Lunch: 1 slice of lowcal bread 1 point with turkey 3 Points
Snack: banana
Dinner: same as lunch 4 points
Snack: lowfat cheese stick 1 point

So my total points for the day is 13, I have not done my zumba on Wii but I am going to get up right now and do it.

Hi everyone! So happy to see all thas set goals for next month!!!

My weight in last friday went as I expected, no change, I am still 212. Oh well, I think I being eating to large portions, have to control that.

My goal for February will 10 lbs, will be so so happy to be out fo the 200's, but I think that will be too much.
I have to get time to get on my trademill, with a 7 months old baby at home is kind of hard, but I have to do it!

Happy Monday Everyone!!! This weekend i dipped!!!! Saturday the scale said 204.6!!! woo hoooo!!!! 206 & 207 were haunting my dreams. However, I'm TOMing now, so for the sake of my morale, I'm staying away from that devil machine until our Friday weigh in.

Still too timid to try my goal jeans on... want to be positive that they'll fit just right.

L: BLT Cobb salad from Wendys
D: Tuna Melt w a slice of havarti melted on top- no bread of course. Maybe a small salad.
Snacks: cheese and beef jerky (lil bits) and loooooooootsa water! already down 1 liter!

From past experience mostly, I typically stay on induction the whole time or I don't lose. The first month I will lose approx 20 lbs, then 10 lbs each month after that.
