hi all....I'm almost back where I started
I weighed this morning and was back up to 218.Dh and I had a little talk last night and I told him what a hard time I am having with this and how sick I am of being everybody's fat friend, and I'm always the heaviest one everywhere we go, just tired of it. Tired of not feeling good, no energy...blah blah blah. Anyway... he is going to start helping me. Home is where I seem to have the hardest time for some reason and most of it is all the crap that is laying around all the time. He said he would try really hard to not try and get me to go out so much, won't make suppers that I can't eat or things like that. So....we are going grocery shopping this weekend, I started on my menu's last night, and am starting this back on Monday. I'm trying really hard to get myself into that frame of mind. Seems like a vicious circle.

Well I amm more than half way there.....weighed in at 151.8. Tash, hang in there...its a lot easier when you have your family's support.

Happy Monday!!
I am re-starting once again, will get on scale in am and that will be my starting weight - I plan on doing lc and smaller portions. I think I have the mindset that "eat as much as you want" and it is not working for me. I am also going to count calories and try to stay around 1,000-1,200. HCG was a 500 calorie and that is just way too little, especially being diabetic. Glad I only blew $40 on the drops. |

leave today at 11:30, then am off tomorrow, so won't check in probably until next Monday. I was down 3.5 pounds this morning
Tomorrow, getting up early then heading to the nearest shopping hub an hour away, getting food for ds's graduation party on Saturday, also have to get me some jammies for our trip next month. Have to make cookies, cupcakes and all the other stuff.....UGH I am such a glutton for punishment! Not sure when I will make all this because I have to be home tomorrow afternoon by 4:30 so I can pick up dgd, we are watching her tomorrow night too, not sure but think she is spending the night also??? OY! Then Sunday is graduation. At least I will get to sleep late!![]() |

me me me, I'm here!!! I am starting today, have already gotten my menu's made up and groceries bought. I have 17 days until we leave for Florida, know it is a lost cause to lose enough to be 'comfortable' down there, but would like to lose some and am not going off while we are there.....not going off period. I'm so tired of this game I have been playing with myself. Had a few activities this weekend with friends and made me realize just how much weight I have gained and how bad I look. AWFUL! I weighed this morning, am at 219.5
Ready to LOSE!!!! I'm going to have to start a new thread on Friday, this was a 6 month thread and will end Thursday. |

Okay - so we are starting today but I am not weighing until Friday and that wi ll be my start weight for new thread, ok?
I really have to do this - I was actually going to have people over to go in my pool but I feel so disgusting I decided against it and that is no way to live!! |

Funny you said that, I almost didn't go to a thing for my best friend, who turned 40 last week, her husband hired a limo, we surprised her, went to St Louis to Brios to eat, then shopping....so much fun. I almost didn't go though because I am the only one out of 13 of us that is this big, everyone else is either skinny or normal. Was so uncomfortable, and the fact that it was almost 100 degrees outside didn't help. Was awful. Then we were invited to the river yesterday by several people, didn't go....no way, no how! I would have been so uncomfortable in a swimsuit in front of people and it was so stinkin hot..... NOPE! So tired of hiding and missing out on all the fun. |

ok....so my menu today:
B: nothing ![]() L: salad with ranch (lettuce, eggs, bacon bits, cucumber, ranch) D: grilled shrimp, roasted bacon wrapped asparagus water water water. I am also doing away with soda. No more. I will drink water or water with Crystal Lite in it, or tea with Splenda, that is all. I also am going to start walking on the treadmill tonight. Going to try to start with a mile, then up it from there....Tired of the flab too! ![]() |

me too, or I was. I went and got a big jug of water, now have to pee, but am not as hungry lol
I think I will make some deviled eggs tonight and bring with me tomorrow for a mid afternoon snack, maybe will help me not be so hungry. |

why don't you grill some chicken tonight or something and cut into bite size chunks and take along some ranch or dressing you like? Or deviled eggs, or bacon, or cheese squares?

I was thinking like turkey rollups or chicken but deviled eggs sound sooo good and they are easy to make.
That is the problem with Atkins - not much in the way of snacking - pork rinds and nuts have too much salt and you can only eat so much sugar free jello ![]() |

after I get through induction, I will make this fluff stuff and seperate it into small bowls with lids to take to work....so good and very few carbs. Have to keep refrigerated though.
1 small sf jello (I use strawberry, but whatever trips your trigger )3 oz cream cheese, softened 3/4 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup boiling water dissolve sf jello in boiling water, let sit....in seperate bowl, whip heavy cream til it peaks. Drop cream cheese by small pieces into jello mixture, then beat with mixer until blended, fold in whipped cream, spoon into small containers(serving size), put lids on and place in refrigerator until set. I started a thread on the Main Low Carb Lobby called "What did it take for you to stay on woe?" So many people have responded, some with some wonderful things to say!!!
Doing well, chugging the water! Had to add back in diet pepsi yesterday in small amounts. I think I was having withdrawal from the caffeine, horrible headaches the last two days. Soon as I had a diet soda(which was recommended by a family member in small amounts until I can get completely off it) my headache started to subside. So....going to slip a soda or two into my day until I can gradually get rid of them altogether. Hubby ended up taking me to lunch yesterday, we went to KFC, I had two pieces of grilled chicken and green beans, then for dinner, dd and dgd came over, and we didn't feel like cooking, so went to Pizza Hut, I had naked traditional wings with ranch and a salad Ended up having 64 ounces of water(with crystal lite) and 2 12 oz diet pepsi's. I think my ultimate goal will be to be able to drink water without additives(I'm not a water drinker, can't stand the taste of it and kinda makes me sick to my stomach), as well as getting rid of the soda.Today's menu: B: breakfast muffin L: salad with ranch(lettuce,cheese,eggs,bacon) D: mashed cauliflower, steak tips Have a great day!!
