Congrats everyone.

Tasha I love the biggest loser. That's the game I told you you about earlier. The fitness test and full body scan was what really pushed me into this weight loss.

I bought it new then I found out you can buy used games for half the price. Just google for videobgame stores in your area or ask a teenager lol. I think iwas around $25

You can also play on line for free with other friends while doing the program. Let me know if you have any questions

I'm traveling this week and will try to stay on track. I've looked up local restaurants that have websites so I can check the nutritional value, packed some low carb snacks and a can opener for my tuna lol. Here's hoping.

I will have to check out the BL game! I can't hook the stupid thing up until I get an HDMI cable, you would think after spending that much $$ on the equipment, they could include the cable! Geez!

I believe last night I ate everything we owned. I don't know what happened, I was doing so good, did good for breakfast lunch and supper, dh even grilled me some shrimp last night, was very tasty and then all of a sudden next thing I new had devoured half the kitchen I have made this a habit and I have to break it. My own fault and I keep making excuses....wth is wrong with me

Karen, hope you have a good trip and there are lots of restaurant choices for you!!!

I felt really bad because I had bought dh a card and some of his fav candy, and he bought me a Xbox Kinect . BIG difference. But we usually don't do the Valentines thing, so was very surprised. I haven't given him his card and candy yet, will wait until tonight. Hope you get something nice too

Happy Valentines Day!!!

weighed this morning at 202.8. Furious. Should have stayed off the scale until Friday... But- the steak recipe i posted yesterday came out PHENOMENAL!!! It was really hearty and rich and hit the spot in a way lc hasn't done for me in a while. Will probably make that sauce over chicken too. I'm chugging the water today, i have been slacking on that... I find i have to make the water a point of attention majority of the time, otherwise it just sits next to me- undrank.

Good morning!! Valentine's day to you all!!

I did okay yesterday, still didn't drink enough water (I'm working on it now), and ended up eating a couple of crackers, but I'm not stressing that!! So this Valentine's, I asked hubby not to buy me any candy this year, but yes, I'll take the flowers!! Here's my menu for today:

B: homemade LC cole slaw, coffee
L: egg salad
S: Atkins chocolate shake
D: either cream of crab soup or chicken thighs

So my job is having a Valentine's social this afternoon, and the flyer said that the chocolates and champagne will be flowing!! Last year, I would have been all up in that, but not this year, don't want to get caught in that flow and get tempted. You know ladies, the best Valentine gift we can receive is to pass on the goodies and sweets and lose a pound or two today!! Get some of your very favorite LC food for dinner tonight, and as for me, I plan on enjoying a delicious diet soda, a much better treat than what other folks will be eating today, that's why I want to really push the water into my system today. We can do this; have a great day today and stay on plan!!

Yanno, in the past, once my system is used to not having an abundance of sugar and sweet, a few bites of candy or cake or something of the like sends my tummy cramping and i usually end up throwing it up or having the worst belly ache! I love Valentines chocolates, but not enough to make myself experience that kind of discomfort. no no noooooooo.... my mom bought a heart over last night and i stuck it in the very back of the fridge. to forget about it. AND if ever i get weak, the chocolate will be frozen beyond ability to eat anyway

I remember heading to the drug stores on the day after Valentines, and stocking up on the 1/2 price heart-shaped candies, getting the big boxes because, after all, they were half-price, could get 2 for the price of 1!! And I would eat piece after piece of that stuff, squeezing them to see what was inside, my favorites were the ones that had cream inside -- But that was then, and this is now!!!!! Our choices are clear; as for me, I'd rather spend that money on a nice seafood dinner, oh yeah!!

I used to do the same thing. ya the ones with the fluffy vanilla cream were my favorite. and/or coconut. but i'm not even feeling it this year. it's only been a month and a half for me, short timespan in the big picture, but I'm definitely not about to toss those days away for a few bites of something that I won't even taste a few minutes after its gone. I just haven't had a taste for sweets at all! a month ago i bought a pack of sugar free jello incase i had a jonesin' for something sweet, and i haven't even touched it. a personal victory...

The next challenge will be getting physical! I know i'll drop faster with more movement in my life. I have a wii, any one have suggestions on games? seems like something that might be more entertainning than jumping on the elliptical could possibly keep me coming back every day.

shook off my surprise gain... yesterday i weighed 202.8, today 200.0... odd... maybe too much sodium. water water water!!! i did weigh 4 times to make sure the 200.0 stuck. we'll see what friday brings... *crossing fingers for a solid 198*

Good evening friends! Went to a retirement party today, and I stayed on plan, proud of myself!! Here's my menu for today:

B: LC Dannon Fit and Friendly diabetic LC yogurt
L: at retirement: shrimp/crab/scallop newburg, baked chicken thighs, green beans, salad
D: Micks hot pumpkin cereal, baked chicken thigh

I'm going to boil some eggs and fix some deviled eggs to have tomorrow, along with a couple more thighs that I bought home from the retirement party - funnee that others were in line for taking some extra cake home, and I was over at the food grabbing up the chicken thighs!! So I've got a baby shower to go to out of town on the 25th and really want to lose a couple of pounds by then, and I know I can do it - stay on plan, drink plenty of water and go to Curves and/or my hula hooping, that is going to be my plan - have a great evening and I'll TTYL!!

I'm THERE!!!! kinda- and i hope it sticks... i weighed this morning, at first, at 198.8. i did it 4 or 5 times to be sure... then i grabbed my phone to take a picture of the scale reading and then it read 199.4... i'll still take that!!! more water water water for tomorrows weigh in!!!!

Funny thing- i sent the picture to my mom (also on lc- and 87 lbs down!) and she replies back "Ho doggie, Make it rain"...lmao luv my mama...

D: date night - hibachi stirfry (onions, brocolli bits, mushrooms, shrimp, green peppers)

Last night, I did 4 sets of doing the hula hoop, and DD and I are going to Curves when I get home today -- pounds, be gone!!!

ok, so it seems I am going the wrong way

starting over.....isn't that a song...???

Today is my day one. I have food prepared and menu's drawn up, so ready for this!

Today:

B: 2 eggs, 2 pc bacon
L: 1 boiled egg, 1 mozz cheese stick, salad with ranch
D: hamburger patty with fried egg on top, lettuce and cheese. I know it sounds weird, but pretty good! and roasted asparagus

I reached the highest I remember being, ever this weekend. DO NOT LIKE THAT! That is what kickstarted me into getting down to business! Ridiculous how long I have put this off and made excuses....have nobody to blame but myself. BUT...changing all that. I also had ds hook up my Xbox kinect this weekend, now I have to get a game....thinking about either Biggest Lower or Zoomba. Dd said Zoomba is a lot of fun, so we'll see....

Gotta run, sorry chart didn't get posted on Friday, I was off and don't have internet at home.... I am going to hide some of the people that haven't been posting, but if you want back on the chart, please let me know and I'll just show your name again!!!

I'm still at 199.4 from over the weekend. Have been sick with a sinusy thing- it's nasty, the only thing i want to consume is coffee and tea...

yup, Karen, we got it hooked up. I ordered Zumba Rush AND the Biggest Loser games yesterday, so waiting patiently for them to get here. I told dh that we need to get another tv to put in the basement and set up a little area down there for me and dd to do this because we tried a couple of the games, which involved a lot of jumping, and since we have a basement, it was shaking the house when ds tried it....stuff falling off shelves is not good

I did really well yesterday, stayed on plan all day. If anything, I overdid just a little on the roasted asparagus, but I figured that was better than grabbing an oatmeal pie

Today's menu:

B: nothing, was in a hurry
diet pepsi (I broke )
L: boiled egg, hamburger patty with a little onion, cheese stick
D: crumbled hamburger patty mixed with Linda Sue's Taco seasoning, cheddar cheese, lettuce and a teaspoon of sour cream.
snack: boiled egg or cheese stick

Must get in 44 oz of water today.

Everyone have a great day. Looking really forward to weigh in this Friday, I'm in a different frame of mind now that I'm on plan and chugging forward

think I will thaw out some chicken legs tonight and bake them for something quick to grab when I'm hungry, I love cold chicken....may stop and get some more eggs on the way home and make some deviled eggs too.

For those of you on Atkins, there is an article in the current Women's World on the new Atkins....losing 50 pounds by bikini season. Allows more veggies.....

I think I will stick to my old school Atkins, but is an interesting read anyway.

good morning everyone. not feelin it this morning. not sure what this is, but started feeling a little burning going on in the back of my throat/nose yesterday, and just didn't feel 100%. Woke up this morning at around 3am with a horrible sore throat, got up and drank some water and went back to bed. Still not feeling good, felt like I was going to erf all the way to work this morning and head is pounding, still a little sore throat.

still on plan, haven't cheated once. Didn't get any water in yesterday, had way too much soda.... Have already started my day off today with a 44oz water with crystal lite peach tea sitting on my desk....trying to keep stuff like that around so I won't be tempted to get a soda.

Today's menu:

B: probably nothing, don't feel like eating
L: salad maybe? didn't bring my lunch today, so probably salad
D: baked chicken legs, green beans
snack: boiled egg

hope everyone has a great day, thinking after my work day is over, I'm going home to pile up on the couch

Feel Better!!! sounds like you caught my yuckies! i'm coming off of the feeling like crap leg, but still super congested and blowing out some green a few times a day Saline spray is my friend right now...

So- odd thing happened. I've been staring at my goal jeans, which i know will look good and not too tight around 190-195. i got antsy this weekend and pulled them on and they fit! decently! but i won't wear them out yet... have to get down more... but the size on them is 17. I pulled my other jeans back on, which are getting very lose and baggy and realized those are 16s...

so my 16s are baggy, but the 17s are still a wee bit snug. backward much?!
