Thats not bad considering what we have been eating and I am sure I am not going to always hit the nail on the head. Its important that we are aware of how many carbs we are eating to we can get a handle on it but everyday being perfect most likely will not happen.

Jeanne- those buffets are so good and it is tempting to just forget the lc eating I know. I just love the Chocolate Cake w/ Peanut butter frosting so it is a good thing I don't live anywhere near Pennsylvania LOL
Meg-You are NOT allowed to get down on yourself! Just do a bit of planning ahead and maybe bring a LC treat to share for your book club. I think others will be surprised how good LC eating can be!
I agree with kj Michelle. Some days you will be a bit higher and some a bit lower.
Well done for trying to hit a target each day and being with-in a close range.
today's food
B- 2 poached eggs 2 sausage patties
S- a few almonds
L- Jimmy Johns "unwitch" roast beef cheese etc
Supper- 2 beef/cheese sliders, lettuce instead of buns, steamed cauliflower
Probably will have a snack later but I did better on the nuts today!
Exercise got to walk the dog again today for aprox 1 hr
I had the chance to sew much of the day and it was great! I got a whole bunch done on a Christmas quilt for my wall...crossing my fingers that I can finish it before December.

Lisa! I am in Grand Island..where are you neighbor? Also, that recipe sounds yummy!
Cathie, thanks for the support! I know I need to learn to socialize on plan. It just seems overwhelming with the amount of social events coming up in the next 6 weeks!
This challenge group has been so great! I really feel like I CAN do this!

Today's plan
B- slice of pumpkin bake
S-baby carrots and cheese
L roast beef and cheese roll ups
S-Low carb shake if needed
D-last of the Alice Chicken!

Since it's just me and my husband, I never cook during the week since anything I make on the weekend makes leftovers! Good thing since I'm always beat when I get home from work!
Have a great day~
Meg

Cathie - that looks awesome! Is it difficult to make? Seems to be a lot of tips!

Gonna lose it- I can't wait either. Normally I go Thursday night at midnight, but Breaking Dawn was my least favorite book.

Meg - I would SO join a book club, for the chatting, reading AND the wine! Wish we lived closer together!

KJ - letting your body rest is a great plan!

Michelle - 22 net carbs is GREAT. Don't say otherwise! You did good!

My DD was up 1/2 the night again coughing. Darn allergies! She is here at work with me today. She is physically fine to be at school ( if she isn't laying down she doesn't cough ) but she is dead tired. She will be taking a big FAT nap this afternoon and I so WISH I could join her.

B - 2 eggs, 2 sausage, OMM (I was starved, been up since 3:15 a.m.)
L - chicken w/peppers on Lettuce w/cheese, sour cream and salsa
D - left overs.

1 gallon of water and coke zero

I looked up Amish buffet on google and I'm glad I'm no where near that!!!!! Looks very unresistable!

B= Shake
L=Egg Salad
D= Boiled chicken with side spinach salad.

I'll check in later...everyone have a great LC day!

17.2/13.7 are my totals today but I really don't know if this is going to make a difference but we will see on Monday. I cut out my coffee w/hwc and my pumpkin bake so if i don't start losing I don't know what else to do.
I was going to try ud dd woe but I hate counting calories so I am trying to hang on to this and try to work it out.

Hi everyone...gosh been a busy couple of days.
I have continued to do some sewinng and finished the top of my quilt! Hurrah. It was a pretty easy one but it has been hanging around for 10 years in my "to be done pile" LOL Hopefully I will get it quilted (on my sewing machine not by hand) this weekend. I would love to have it ready to hang on my wall right after Thanksgiving.
I too saw Breaking Dawn pt1 but waited until the 11 am show today. I won't be getting in line for a premier for anything else! Did that for Harry Potter movies and I am glad you can buy tickets online and even pick the seats so no more lines!
Did fine on my food yesterday except for ate a bunch of peanuts right before bed and felt bloated and fat half the night.
Today food
B- 2 scrambled eggs 2 sausage patties, 1 Jen E LCGF bun
L- egg salad from 2 eggs mayo and spicy mustard 1 Jen E LCGF Pumpkin Muffin
Supper- Not sure as I will be making red beans and rice for the family so hope I can come up with something good for me LOL

I have a list of things to do as long as my arm, but I have the whole weekend, so I'll get it done!
My plan for today
B lc shake
L chicken patty,cauliflower
D I'm going to find a recipe,,,but some sort of chicken.

Have a great Saturday Ladies!!

Well I hit my 2nd mini goal today on this challenge. -I have seen the 150s. -
159.4 lbs as of this morning. I am elated. I'm glad going to 20 g or less this week broke that stall. Now to work on not seeing 160s again.

Today I am busy after all. I have to go shopping for pet supplies and treats. Our local humane society has put a plea out. They are very short on food and treats. I can't bear to think they not only don't have homes but they are hungry too. Breaks my heart. And I have to do some regular baking for my MIL home bake sale. NO LICKING THE FINGERS! With seeing that number this morning I think it will be easy. I'm so excited I can hardly type. I haven't seen the 150s since I was 16 years old.

Cathie I'm sure you will finish your quilt on time. You should take pics and show us. My sister use to quilt (by machine) they were beautiful.

Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning,

WTG Michelle on seeing the 150's its great once the scale is moving again.
Yesterday I went to the banquet and the food they had was roast beef in gravy, breaded chicken breast, greenbeans, scalloped potatoes, salad and bread with french and buttermilk as a dressing choice and cheese cake, peach cobbler and another dessert so I ate greenbeans and salad no dressing b/c when I was getting my food they had ran out and I didn't wait for them to bring anymore so my carb count for yesterday was 20/12.6. Avoided a pitfall so I didnt have to look back on yesterday with sadness. So far today had a ham, cheese, greenpeper and onions omelette(3eggs) I will check in later have a great day!

Well I believe I did pretty well today, since I was baking. I did go up to 30g carbs, but that's it. I tried one of the cookies I made, no other finger or bowl licking. They were Pancake and Bacon Cookies. Certainly not low cab but a great cookie non the less. Back on the wagon tomorrow.

Good Morning everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday. I will be working on my preparations for the big T.
My family is coming in from the NYC area, and it sounds like they are bringing bagels! Ayy.I must stand strong! It is going to be a rough week! Well, at least from Thurs-Sat...
My plan for today
B-I am going to try making a one minute muffin
L-Chicken Salad...my fav!
D-not sure...maybe steak and Broccoli
Sn if needed- 1/2 Cup whole milk yogurt w.davincis...I found whole milk Stonyfield at Wegmans! I bought the big container. If I do well with the addition (no gains/stalls) I will save some as a starter for home made yogurt. I make it in my crockpot. It is YUM and way cheaper than buying in the store!

Good for you for staying in control!! You are practicing for Maintenance now! Great Job!
They are delicious. Made with brown sugar, maple syrup, browned butter, and a whole package of cooked and crumbled bacon. My husband who only eats oreos tried these and loves them.

Well more baking today. But I won't try any of it. I'll have my neighbors be my guinea pigs I hope.

L=Egg salad
D= steak and lobster with lots of butter and green beans. This is my homemade celebration dinner for hitiing the 150s. Calories will be high, but carbs low!

Check in later, have a great day everyone.
