Hi, Good to hear you are staying strong Diane.

I'm hanging in too (after starting over yesterday). Just had that one slip on the tortilla chips! No loss yet. Still at 155. I didn't realize we had all crept up so much. I hope we can alle gt back down where we want to be. I find I get LESS exercise watching the baby. It's lots of fun, but lots of sitting on the couch, holding, feeding, or playing with him. Anxious for nicer weather when I can at least push him in the stroller......

I dont know how to get a pic into a post. I just tried to drag it and tried to copy and paste it but no luck. Then I tried the "insert image" icon but no luck because it asked for a url and I dont know waht that is. Can you tell me how to get a picture into the post?

Although I am not ready for my girls to be mom's, I am looking forward to that day. Glad you are enjoying it!

Still LC'ing. Officially 1 week today. Weight has stayed pretty much the same the last few days, but it is down 7 or so pounds, depending on where I was when I started.

I have been hanging around the 164, 163.5 since Tuesday with no cheats, sooooo on Saturday, I figured I needed to shake it up, so I ate a a bunch of carbs, little sugar though. I was the same 163.5 on Sunday as before this. So, eating LC on Sunday and trying to keep it up for a week to see if that spurs anything. I think my body was getting tired of eating pretty much the same thing day in and day out. The scale will tell tomorrow.

PS I must be the only person who gains weight exercising. I was 163.5 this morning, had eggs and sausage early in the morning, then spent the late morning, early afternoon doing yard work. Weighed before shower, 166.5.... I am anxious for tomorrow morning.

Still LC'ing, but am sort of stuck. I am down one pound, but it is slow going. I have debated about doing WW, but I am thrilled that my cravings have disappeared completely, so kind of afraid to do that.

Congrats Diane on the on pound! You are doing better than I am. Altho I really didnt weigh so dont know. I finally had to resort to a fast. I just can't stop eating when I go out with others like I used to so I am fasting. Started midday on Wed. I plan to eat midday tomorrow (Sat). I will lose some and feel better. Had a headache this morning (expected that). Just find now tho. The wedding in Atlanta is this Thursday so I've got to fit into something nice which will be no easy feat. My feet are the only thing that probably will fit into what I have here!! A fast usually helps get my emotional eating under control tho so hoping for the best!! Continued luck to you!!!

I fasted for a couple of days but back to eating now. I lost some but actually gained most of it back when I ate (I think because I had a bunch of draft beer & some salty chips at a party). I did feel better after fasting & I've been walking most every day. But still can't seem to get the scale going down. I plan to eat really light all this week until we leave for Atlanta. I found some clothes I can fit into but still not happy with how I am going to look. It is what it is I guess.

Good morning,

I have been laying low on the computer to help my arm heal. It seems to be working. I am back to low carb starting today. The weather is warming up here and it is easier for me to stay low carb with all the grilling we usually do. I did my shopping yesterday so I am ready.

Good morning,

Glad to hear the arm is feeling better Angie! Good luck on the LC. I have been eating basically the same stuff I always do when LC'ing -- eggs and sausage, chicken caesar salad, and meat stuff for dinner. I have really stalled and keep thinking about going to WW, but this lack of cravings for junk food is what is keeping me going. I am at 162.5, feel good, but know that isn't a great weight. I was in the low 170's, so, for that I am thankful, but hope to see the scale move soon.

Kris, how you doing?

Ok, this scale not moving is tiring. I have food for 1 or 2 more LC days, then I think the switch-over will occur. It was good to get the initial weight off, but not doing much for me now.

I am right there with ya Diane. Chocolate chip cookie with caramel laced thru it got me. Who knew - I went to a meeting with a Financial Advisor and of all things, he had a huge plate of cookies and m&ms sitting right there in front of me. I dont think I've ever had cookies that good before in my life. But unfortunately that cookie greased the skids for tortilla chips and Miller Lite on the way home! What is wrong with me?!?!?!?!?!?!

What cookies and cupcakes? Just shake it off and jump back on the wagon. We can do it, even if it kills us. :/ Day 3 for me... My waistline feels better but I have not weighed since Monday. I probably will tomorrow. UGH!

Actually I only had one kinda big pc of swiss cheese. It was very good! BUT now dh just said he wanted Harris pizza for dinner (we have this coupon - $10 off of two larges). He pointed out that we could freeze the leftovers. OMG that is just what I need I am in process of trying to say NO and offering to fix him something else. Hope it goes well

Well I am down 2 pounds. Not bad since I didn't give up the alcohol. From what I read, there is no carbs in Jack Daniels however, I know alcohol slows the losing. Oh well. *sigh*

Congrats Angie! Great news. I am still not losing anytyhing at all. It is like the scale does not move at all. I eat a lot one day or eat very light and it is just stuck (at 155 embarrassing enough)........ I didn't give up but disappointed for sure. I dont stick with the LC for a long enough stretch. I know that is the problem. Too easy for me to give up and have tortilla chips and beer at the drop of a hat

You keep up with the good work!!!
