we actually dressed up and went to a party too at a haunted old catholic hospital. There were tunnels under the ground where the priests went across to visit the nuns in the convent. They found baby skelitons in the tunnels and one pregnant nun hung herself in the chaple befrey of the hospital, I saw photos. I only saw them because now the abandoned hospital is a home for alzheimers patients and we know some of the employees. THey had this haunted tunnel party thing to make money which was ALL to go to the alzheimer patients. Tonight is "trick or treat" night here.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO YOU BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where are you guys!?!?!?!? I am back on the fast 5 for a week, then going back to Low carb. I am just getting nowhere with losing. Nothing fits. Nothing at all. It is so heartbreaking. I am at like 155 I'm eating once a day now, occassionally twice but if I do have breakfast its no carb. Then the meal at 1 or 2 pm is whatever I want but not pigging out. Last time I tried it, it seemed to reduce my appetite and help my stomach and mid section go down so hoping for that right now, and then hopefully on to weight loss. I want to weigh under 130 by Spring.

Hope you two are doing better than I.

Hi,
Still here, but don't even want to know what I weigh.

Your visit to the haunted hospital sounds really neat! I would love to go to a place like that. I haven't watched lately, but always enjoyed the ghost hunter series.

Maybe next week I will try something. The teacher in the next room is trying to lose 10 by Thanksgiving. Maybe I will see what I can do.

Hi! This time change thing is crazy, dark alraedy at 5:15 PM. Didn't get much done today, lazy gloomy day, walked 4 miles. Also didn't eat much, still doing the fast five thing, eating only in a 5 hour period. In fact I try to just eat once and then dont eat again for about 24 hours. Messed up on Fri & Sat as usual so that throws the whole thing off. I think it was working, my appetite deminished and I felt a lot lot better the nights I did not eat and drink beer during the evening. Can't live like a hermit tho I guess. And I haven't lost any weight because I gain it back on the weekends. Jamie was over today, getting pretty big, baby is due in less than a month!!

Friend of mine had lipo and entire body lift with sagging skin removed. She looks so FANTSTIC!!! I was totally amazed. She looks awesome. She has lost 90 pounds over the last 3 yrs and then had the surgery. WOW it did wonders.

Here I am. How are you Guys? Been busy here at work and on my off time we have been trying to get DH's Mothers house ready to sell. The market is real bad here for sellers. Right now its a buyers market. So maybe early next year.

Still not on l/c plan here, Kind of doing fast 5. Can't seem to focus on losing weight right now.

Im excited for you to becoming a grandma too.

Miss you Guys.

I am excited about the gramma thing but I sure cannot seem to lose weight. It used to be much easier. I don't get it anymore I guess. Nothing works. I'm still trying and doing fast 5. LOVE how much better I feel and sleep. But it is hard unless you stay home alot. Meeting some girls for lunch today at 11:30 and then NOTHING else to eat all day since I already had half a cinn roll at 8 this morning........ Usually I just eat once around 2, but had stuff going on today.

Got a few things done around the house yesterday - off to Goodwill store to donate today!!

A good thing to do with the baby is stroller walking. Most malls open earlier than the store openings for people to walk. I used to do that with my kids when they were little ( especially when it was too cold to walk outside).

Aww, Angie, it is a tough time to sell. Good luck.

Hubby is a Vietnam Vet so we had breakfast out yesterday at a huge buffet. His was free from the local casino. I didn't think I ate that much but was up a couple more pounds this morning??? Even tho I didn't eat the rest of the day. Been doing good on Fast 5 but am starting to think it must not be working for me. It's working because I feel GREAT all of the time and it's so nice not worrying and planning what to eat when. I just eat what I want (trying to be sensable) once a day. But I am not losing, in fact I think I am gaining. I teeter around 155 most of the time now. And I think it is harder on DH. Maybe I didn't give it long enough. I'm not hungry the rest of the time which is good, but sometimes I am not always "sensible" - ate 4 breadsticks, salad, and my bowl of pasta at Olive Garden the other night with 5 glasses of beer. So I can see why I dont lose. It's not a mystery. But that is all I had for a 24 hour period and I figured it was about 2300 cals which should be OK as most days I just have 800/900 cals a day. But i think I'm going back to ATkins or Dukan or something. Have to think about it. I've almost outgrown all my jeans!!!!

Just to let you know, you are in good company with the Olive Garden meals. I can eat 4 of the breadsticks too, along with 2 helpings of salad and lasagna. Hard to turn them down since they offer refills.

OG is really good! I only go about once a year.

Today had a big salad at Bennegins. Really good. But the chicken was breaded and fried and it came with a roll I wont eat again today but STILL!!! Then I came home and walked. Still doing Fast 5 until I figure out what to go back to next week LC wise. I'll be eating at restaurants for a couple days and probably wont get on line for a little bit. But I will be thinking of you ladies and good luck with sticking to your plan!!

WOW it has been quiet in here! We were gone to Laughlin NV and just got back. Nice trip, great weather compared to here at home. Went to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam while there.

Tree sounds pretty Angie! We wont be putting any decorations up this year or a tree. House was just to cluttered to even try but we are still working on that. Got 2 loads to goodwill and a big tv to the dump. Jamie got most of her stuff out. Will probably just end up at one of the gambling boats for Thanksgiving. I used to cook the big meal here but cant see the dining room table now. I have truly become a hoarder like the show on TV. Only difference is I dont keep garbage. But I keep other good stuff that amounts to the same look I have not been able to work on it lately tho, my back went out on the trip so I have to stay laying flat for 3 or 4 days. That set me back; thank goodness I had some Vicodin along on the trip so I could sit in the plane seat. It was still almost unbearable though.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving both of you!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you both!

Angie, wow, the tree up and decorated already! Good for you! I am not sure we can manage the tree up for very long this year with the new kitty. Time will tell.

Kris, sorry to hear about your back. Yikes, I hate back troubles. Hope you are feeling better soon.

DH and I are down at the condo. I cooked yesterday for my family, then we drove down today and staying her until Tuesday. I took a few days off from work. Needed the break.

Thanks Diane, my back is much better now. It is great you can be at the condo for some enjoyable relaxing time. I fought the crowds all night for black friday shopping at the outlet mall and then back to the big mall. Dont think I'll do it next year. I am getting too old for that stuff!! We left around 8 Thanksgiving night; i mostly just went along for the ride with Jen, didn't buy much.

Ok, time to get serious ( well, starting tuesday or wednesday anyway ). I don't even want to know what I weigh and am going to Disney with 2 DDs on Dec 10. We have a dining plan and it is a lot of food. If I don't knock off a few pounds by then, I will not have clothes that fit. So, I figure a week and a half to drop some serious weight.

O.M.G. - The dreaded dining plan. You will be eating all the time!!! We got it once too. It was fun, but you will be really TRYING to eat all the time to use up what you already paid for in the plan. Dont get me wrong - it is fun and you will have a great time with it. It is a savings - you are there anyway and you have to eat. You will have a great time. When we go to Jen and Aaron's Vow Renewal next Oct we will be getting the "season pass" and that has discounts on eating at the restaurants too. It will be so much fun. You are going at a GREAT time. We went Dec 10th once a few years ago and went to "Mickys Xmas party". You HAVE to got to it. The parade is (different) and the best and the lights at all the parks are just great. We took so many pictures that year. I hope you have good weather. Be sure to go see the lifesize gingerbread house at the Floridian Resort. We stayed there the year we went at Christmas. where are you staying? we are staying at the Caribean Beach resort when we go in October. I am so looking forward to it.

My diet has really suffered lately. I surely hope to lose some wieght starting in Jan. I guess trying to pull it off now is beyond happening with all the xmas stuff going on.

We are staying cheap - Pop Century. The dining plan is included free and is the quick service, but it is still a lot of food. It has been quite a few years since I have been there at christmas. I can't wait. It is also considered the 2nd best week of the year to go, crowd wise. And fortunately for me, ( I am not a night owl), the parks close fairly early. DD wore me out last year when we went in the summer. It was hotter than hades and the parks stayed open quite late and opened very early. With a smaller crowd, we won't need the longer hours!

Pop Century is good. My dd stayed there once and liked it. I think any Disney property is good!!! I just walked outside at 34 degrees. I little chilly for my liking. I really hate this cold. But I have to keep trying to lose. It is do darn depressing being at this weight. Being retired seems to make it harder.

34 deg sounds depressing. It was about 75 here in SC today. That won't last as we are heading home tomorrow. I hope your 34 doesn't make it my way!

How you doing Angie?

Yes Angie where have you been???!!! I hope all is OK.

It is only 32 and very windy here today so no walking for me I guess. Still no baby either. It sounds so great to be where it is 75 degrees. DH and I discussed how much we hate this weather and living her last night. I guess it is time to get off our butts and start looking for something warmer. Just dont know where to start.

Hi Guys,

Been busy. Shopping, online shopping, birthday parties, DH's sister visiting ummm, what else...eating, decorating both home and office. I love the holidays, no really I do. LOL.

Thanks for the birthday wishes...no cake for anyone this year ( I just now realized) But we actually celebrated thanksgiving since everyone was together. Had a lot of fun.
