For the most part. On the weekends it will depend, then I will try to keep the calories low and make good choices. Weekdays are easy because I dont bring anything to work to eat.

Dinner and maybe a snack but not this week and only if I am hungry. I have went home and had some chips and salsa and then dinner a little later, or shrimp cocktail and a dinner a couple hours later.

i am more excited about this now! I just read up on it some more. I just had a blackened grouper sandwhich and some fries, a pickle wedge and water. I brushed and flossed and dont plan to have anything else all day. Not sure if I will get a walk in or not, pretty windy and a bit chilly today but I still need to do it. We just had some stuff put in the attic, now the house is a bigger mess as we had to empty the attic. What an awful mess. It is supposed to save on energy bills tho.

Good luck on filling the attic, it will be great in the long run, except when you move and have to take it all down.

you are so right. Maybe I should not put the junk back up there. There were toys adn clothes from 20 yrs ago. I guess I should just go thru it and NOT put it back. We had some thermal blanket stuff laid in there to make the a/c bills less. I hope it works. Supposed to save 30%. I didn't even think of that, buy why put anything back up there when it just will have to come down again and probably before too long. Both of the extra bedrooms are just packed with crap. It is so overwhelming.

Good evening,
Oh, no, I just got kitty number 3. DD was at school visiting a friend in the dorm and one of the stupid dorm kids thought they could get away with having a cat. They got it from Craigslist a few days ago, and said they were going to just let it out tonight or put it in a dumpster tonight, so DD took the cat. She was crying in the driveway when she got home, thought I would have a fit. But... what could I do, she saved this little kitty. We took it to a vet, after hours charges, ugg, to make sure it was safe to bring it in with our other cats. She looks healthy and tested ok, so we have her in the house now, just isolated in our bedroom. The other two cats and partial to each of the girls so their bedrooms wouldn't work and the extra bedroom is where the kitty litter is so I didn't want to disrupt that, so the new kitty is in my bedroom for a week or two.

Oh, boy.....

Oh Diane that is so sweet of you. I would have done the same thing. I love cats. Cant stand to see them hurt. One time I had 6. It was bad on the house, but eventually I found them homes. Kept 3 for a long time. My dd has 3 right now, she's about to get a 4th I think. Someone she works with just found out her toddler was allergic so they have to part with the family pet.

Still hanging in there fast 5 ing! Had a meal earlier, but no dinner tonight. Just going to tough it out at go to bed early!! So far, no results yet, but I had messed up a couple times, going to try harder now to stay within the window.

Well you guys were not talking today!!! I will just talk to myself. Sometimes it is hard to find time to get on here. I stuck with the fast 5 today, but did have half a big buritto, a bunch of chips and salsa, and 3 beers all in a couple of hours and then nothing else.

I may have lost a couple of pounds but not sure since I weighed before I ate and it may not stick!! It probably came right back since I ate chips. I cannot IMAGINE how many calories were in the chips I ate.

Sat morn - heading for a river cruise luncheon; plan to stick with Fast 5 and make it the only meal for today.

Wanted to report the 3 pound loss stuck so far! So glad Angie motivated me to sticki with it. I think it works if you can stay with it. A little hard to do sometimes, but worth the effort I think!! Keep you posted!

Good morning,
Hope you all are doing well!!

What a week, a UTI, sinus infection and getting a new kitty (Binky is her name) integrated in the house. I am down a couple of pounds. Not sure how, since I am eating more, but stressed.

Binky is doing well. She checked out well healthwise, and we let her meet the other kitties and have the run of the house. There was some minor hissing but nothing major. In fact, my fat kitty is actually running around playing with her. I thought the meeting would not go well at all. Our first cat is still tentative around her and not thrilled but so far, I am calling this a success.

By the way, I have a sort of exciting weekend planned. You know the resort in the movie Dirty Dancing? I am going there this weekend! Kind of wanted to take a road trip there for years.

Back from the weekend trip. Had a great trip. Mountains are exciting to me since I live in an area that is pretty much below sea level. I think the highest elevation is about 450 feet! Driving 7 miles up a mountain was exciting, coming down was scary! Going to try to PM you both a link to a photo album with some photos.

Yes thanks Diane. Great pictures! What a wonderful place, so pretty with the trees and mountains. I just got back from South Dakota, I will send some pictures when I figure out how. I actually took some with my new camera this time.

I gained back the 3 pounds in South Dakota so back to square one, but at least I didn't go up further. It is really hard, I just ate when the others did, but didn't think I overate except for a huge salad bar once.

I have put them on a disk now but I still have to figure out how to get them posted in here from the disk? Is that hard? Do I have to save them in a file and then upload to here somehow? The scenery was so so beautiful.

You will have to copy the pics from the disk and onto your computer. Then go to a place like photobucket, snapfish, or one of the many online photo storage places. Open a free account, upload your pics from your computer to this storage site, then copy the link to the album and PM us a link!! Easy as pie!

So, how is retirement! I am so jealous

Actually, retirement is a bit wierd. I keep sleeping later and later and getting less and less done. We just run around on the harley and EAT and go on road trips in the car and EAT. I've gained more weight. I need to get focused, its been just a month now and time for me to focus on the right things.

I sent you a PM link after I put some on bucket list, did you get it? If so I will send to Angie. But I could only get 12 on there at a time? I tried to do the whol album I made, but could not get that part to work. This stuff is really hard for me. I just ordered prints for the FIRST time ever from Walgreens. I was so consumed in work, that I didn't ever do much on the computer at home, I am just raelly terrible at it. Trying to learn. Let me know if the link I sent worked, it looked "questionable"!!

Yep, got them!! Fantastic! Thanks for sharing them!

So, retirement, sleeping in, riding the Harley, road trips, ummm doesn't sound weird, sounds great!

I find in the summer when I am off, I get less done just because I feel like I have forever to do it. I guess retirement can be like that. Oh, well, enjoy the time, you have earned it.

BTW, not sure why you could only get 12, I think I had 15? I uploaded about 5 at a time, then when they were done, I uploaded more to the same album. At worst, you could make several albums.

The party sounds great Angie! You both are so ambitious even when you are still working. I think I got LESS ambitious after retiring. Seems like I do MORE running around and less getting things done now than when I worked. It is because there is no deadline. I work better with a set deadline. That is how I always used to get a diet to work also - an "EVENT" dieter.

I am glad I got the pics so you both could see them. I am trying to learn more computer stuff now that I am home. Actually that takes up a lot of my time - sitting here on the keyboard.
