~ Happy April Canadian Friends ~

Raining and dreary today ....

They always seem to be doing reno's ... even since the new hospital opened. But they weren't working in the area that I was working which was "HR" ...

Not working there anymore ... I now work for a fabulous non profit that provides services to people with disabilities.

Doing Atkins right now. Tried the Up Day Down Day thing for a week or so and ordered the book. Might try it again.

I'm working on staying focused and letting go of the past. It is really hard for me to let go of the fact that I have gained back all of the weight that I lost.

I did Pilates a few years ago. It was fun, and a good workout, I thought.

You wouldn't think that slow stretching and breathing would work up a sweat, but it does! The first time I did it, I felt it in my stomach muscles for a couple days! LOL

I'm thinking of looking around to see if I can get back into it. Let me know if you decide to try it!

thanks you guys (gals!)

I did the couch to 5k, used to run, the most I ever ran was a 10k, loved it too, but feel like I want to add some muscles.

Jennie do you think a vid is the way to go to learn some moves? My library has a ton of different ones. A book? Not interested in classes.

There is a storm warning for southern alberta today. Yikes, it's +3 at the moment and lovely, kind of hard to imagine 10-15cm of snow on the way...

Speedy: Personally, I think a video over a book would be better, only because it's one thing to see a picture and read a description of how to do something, it's entirely something else to see someone doing it. You get that 'OHHHH!!!! So THAT'S what they mean!' kind of reaction. LOL

Way to go on clothes fitting better, Mel!

Muscles do rock! It's nice to finally be able to at least SEE some of mine! LOL (My DH says he has washboard abs, but he's just got a couple towels on top of 'em! )

Still too cold for planting - we're getting frost at nights, so a couple weeks yet, I think.

I made some devilled eggs for tomorrow's Easter dinner, and DH is making a veggie tray, and I'm doing the homemade ranch dip.

Happy Easter to all of you if I don't see you until late!

That's awesome, Mel! Enjoy the nice weather!

It still gets cold at night here, but the days aren't too bad - mid-teens. I can handle that!

not too bad here weatherwise 14. My tree in the back yard has buds and I saw green grass poking through all the dead stuff.

Feeling more and more like I want to be outside.
