Happyone, thanks for your kind thoughts.

I think it is super that you are taking a break from the diet sodas. They are so full of things which cause troubles.

I wish you much success being "eggy"! ")

I maintain at approx. 1400-1450 kCals. If I indulge in eating too much, and gain, I have to stay at 1200 or go under that to lose again. I've tracked and experimented over several years, with different food plans. That's just my calorie level. Hope it doesn't get lower for a few years.

Dr. Michael Eades posted something in his blog about the metabolism not slowing down on LC and "diet" levels of calories. I don't have the link bookmarked.

Sending all you all happy egg-success thoughts!

Oh boy. Only managed to get 4 eggsdown so far. I started feeling the nausea again about an hour ago. I don't know why eating eggs is making me feel this way. On the plus side, I have no hunger.

Happyone, I wish I knew something to help. Am sending you lots of good thoughts.

I only eat yolks. I use the shells in my garden, eat the yolks, and toss the whites.

Am thinking of you feeling really well and having a splendid evening.

Sorry PALADY

For me it just takes me to clean eat for 3 or 4 days to lose my cravings for sugar and carbs. When I feel I need something sweet then I will have warm Almond Milk with unsweetened coco powder and Stevia from Trader Joe's, Another one that works for me is coconut oil erytheral coco powder. TONS of "sweet" low glycemic recipes on this site. I to am surrounded by temptation I have two toddlers with a big ol Easter basket filled with treats. My 3yr old had me hold her sugar cookie (my favorite!) all through the grocery store sure I wanted to eat it but I didn't. So stay strong and start over tomorrow YOU ARE STRONG!

YIKES!! Happyone hope you feel better!

So another 13 eggs down today! I really can't imagine another loss after this morning! Can't wait to hop on the scale tomorrow!! I feel great tons of energy I don't feel grumpy or deprived. Looking forward to day 3!!!

Happyone have you tried Water with stevia and lemon? Or sun tea? I would really like to see if you can get off soda. I have never cared for it but my husband was a HUGE Diet Pepsi fan his whole health energy and overall happiness improved after he detoxed from all those chemicals he has been Diet Soda free for 5 years now! Hope tomorrow goes better for you!!

Thank you for your concern piknik. I haven't touched a soda today and have no desire to have one. 13 eggs! That's insane!!! I hope you continue to see some losses.

I'm gonna see if I can take in 1 or 2 more eggs today.

Sorry Happyone I got a little(ok a lot) pushy with the soda...sorry

So I was reading up on egg fast. Eggs have a diuretic effect. So water is a must! I have well over 100ozs and feel fine also need to eat more fat as well

Hope you feel better tomorrow!!

No worries piknik! I really want to overcome my soda addiction, and for the first time in years I feel like soda has no hold on me. I simply don't want it =D

My nausea is gone again. Something about 4pm- 8pm time slot that gives me nausea... I just don't get it. I find myself drinking a lot of ice water, I crave it!

Good Morning Auntie Em!!

I have poured over weight loss threads and diet blogs. From what I have read my results are not typical. But I have not seen a egg fast without cheese. Have you?

This will be my last day I may try this weekly or bi-weekly until I reach goal. I just find this so eggciting!

Still thinking of transitioning into a meat and egg fast tomorrow. I'm really craving steak, TOM is right around the corner.

Thank you for all your support AE! I really appreciate it!

Hi, Shari.

PIKNIK, I occasionally read some at a carnivore forum. There was an egg-only challenge, and there were good reports of weight loss.

My regular food plan is meat, offal, fish, eggs, cream, butter, bits of cheese and tiny bits of plant food. I do not lose weight in the way the eggs-only folks do, even when limiting calories.

Perhaps eggs are the perfect food!

Hope your morning is going very nicely.

I had 3 slices of a small summer sausage a little bit ago. Im not a big morning eater. Am boiling 3 eggs now to take to work. I may make an egg cream to take also. Will stop at store on way home to get some ground beef. Im thinking of mixing it in with scrambled eggs. That sounds better to me than just straight eggs even though there are multiple ways to make them!

Yep, carnivore.

Offal is liver, brains, kidney, tongue, etc. Here is the wikipedia entry. Scrambled veal brains are scrumptious, and very good, too, in scrambled eggs. One of my favorites.

PIKNIK, it is interesting, I agree. I have read some things about casein raising insulin more than meat, but I don't have a reference handy. I do find I have to limit cheese.

Some just use beef fat and clarified butter, or coconut oil to cook. The lactose in cream can raise blood sugar and insulin for some. There are folks who test their blood glucose with the meters to find out how their bodies react to different foods.

I, too, which I had known about LC, and VLC, and all these things many years ago. Oh well, at least we know now.

Are you doing another egg day?

Hi, eggers. Eggers are cheery, I love it!

Will you all post in the meat and egg thread after you've finished egging?

Happyone, thanks for your kind thoughts. I'll post today's menu in the Maintainer's Forum thread, and the Egg/Protein thread, which is Meat-and-Eggers.

PIKNIT, thanks for the yolk joke.

Hope you all are having an eggs-cellent evening. ;0

Sending you lots of happy thoughts!

Hi ladies! I'm here. Worked 10-6 today and had a perfect day (so far! lol) Didn't have a bite of anything bad at work today. Pretty hard considering what we were sampling....mint choc malt balls, yogurt covered pretzels, milk choc truffles, licorice, choc covered fruit!!

I had 5 eggs for lunch. 2 HB and 3 in an egg cream. I am super hungry right now because lunch was at 12:30!!! I hate going that early but on a Sat, I kinda have to.

I have 3 pork chops in the oven with lots of butter.

I stopped at the store after work and got a roast, pork chops and ground beef.

I guess I should head over to the E/P thread, huh?
