Friday stats:

Carbs: 15
Exercise: 30 minutes

I stopped by our health club to exercise today....Aspen Health Club....and they had closed just 2 hours before I arrived. 5-6 trucks were in the area loading up the equipment. Said memberships be being transferred to Gold's Gym. So sorry to see it happen. It was a fairly new (maybe 6-7 yrs old), full service, very nice club.
We pay by the year, so we'll see what kind of a deal we have with Gold's to finish out the year we have paid for.

Best wishes to everyone!!

SHOOT!

I have to take a bomb for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

On Wednesday, I took the baby to the doctor. I thought she had a virus, but there was some blood in her stool, so I wanted her checked out.

They had us check right into the hospital where we stayed for 3 days. She had blood cultures, urine cultures and 3 stool cultures. It turned out she had a virus, and is better now.

I couldn't take her out of the room to go to the cafeteria and pick out my own food. There was no one to leave her with (like I would leave her anyway) so I had to have whatever the cafeteria decided to send up.

Something is really wrong when the hospital feeds you sugar frosted flakes, margarine, and syrup that has HFCS as the first ingredient.

I'm happy that the baby is fine, but I can not tell you how depressed I am about the food and my weight. It's so stupid to be depressed. It's not like I gained back 18 lbs in 3 days. I just feel like quitting. Probably because I'm so tired.

I really need encouragement to start all over tomorrow. It would probably be best if I didn't weigh for a few days, and just concentrate on getting back on track.

I'm so glad the baby is fine now. Moms don't sleep well when one of their babies/children are in the hospital. You must be exhausted!!! I suggest you catch up on sleep for yourself....and then focus on getting your eating back on track. Don't say "quit"....just push the pause button for a few days.

I'll be praying for you Saturday for strength and focus for whatever it is you need to do.

Mumasatus, sorry you went through that with your baby. You did the best you could in the circumstances and look right back on track the next day !!!

The weekends are soo busy for me I'm just not finding any time to get online!!! Sorry for being missing and not updating the spreadsheet. Will get that done tonight and post from home later on.

Finally got myself back on track yesterday (Sunday) and am on day 2 re-induction. Looks like I'm back in ketosis already - my body just switches easily, likes ketosis so much I think!

Went to the Dr Friday for test results and I need more tests, including a glucose tollerance test. My fault, I'll have to go through all that for nothing, the high sugar in the tests was because I'd eaten a huge bag of candy that day. Didn't realise she was testing sugars!!

But she gave me a good kick up the butt for getting off-track and not looking after myself . So I'm spending the next week or so concentrating on the nutrition side as well as getting enough rest/sleep as that's been woefull lately. Then once my energy is back and I'm in the swing of things again I'll get back to my workout routine. Still bellydancing once a week, but no other formal exercise for this challenge cycle.

Hey everyone hope you had a good weekend.....Mumasatus sorry to hear about your baby so glad its all better now.

Fri, Sat, and Sun I had 10 carbs or lower I stuck to plan! That's a plus for me normally its really hard on the weekends.....

tybeeanna WTG without the splenda! Once in a while is okay but those carbs add up quickly.

Yeah, I need to eat carbs for 3 days before the test . Just getting back on track too plus would have to get time off work at the moment to have the test. Thinking I'll wait a couple of weeks so that my head it back in the LC game, TOM has been & gone and I might have time on a Saturday.

Here's the spreadsheet ladies:-

Scales were not good to me today after over a week of LCing and exercising at my daughter's (except for the hushpuppies on Saturday and the lack of exercise on Sunday.) Back on track today, guys. Hope you all are doing well.

Ketosis is wonderful tybeeanna! Glad you are cutting back on the splenda....I did not know the liquid had no carbs?! Amazing....
I went all weekend without feeling hungry due to ketosis and it helps curb the temptation
I am at 187 on the scale cant wait for more loss...
