Boot Camp Challenge #22 {12-25 July}

Welcome new and returning recruits to our next cycle of Boot Camp. Just to re-lay the ground 'rules':-

In boot camp we log carbs and/or calories (if you are already tracking them) and our exercise time each day. On day one we record our weight and waist measurements and take them again at the end of the 14 days for results. Post your stats, receive encouragement, accountability and support to stay on-plan (which ever plan or stage you are on) for 2 weeks.

Taking this journey in manageable 14-day (bite sized) chunks and helping each other along the way. We have a spreadsheet that all your stats will be recorded on so you can see your progress.

Hey Oz! Mind if I come crawling back? I am actually not crawling at all! Lol! I am here holding my head high! I have accomplished so much in the last 3wks and I am very proud of myself. I have quit smoking, and I have done a Candida detox which included giving up caffeine. I have gone LC for good, and I am finding out my triggers for Candida. But the thing that I am most proud of is helping my husband to decide to do the same! He is now officially a non smoker, and he is taking this LC journey with me. He has even signed up on LCF! Anyway, my point in all of this is that my head is finally in the right place to take this challenge seriously! I even vow to exercise everyday!

I am so in!

:hiya:
I feel like I need the accountability too. I need to know though...do we post at the end of each day?
Also, I am going on vacation on the 21st and may be hit or miss for the last few days. I tend to do really well when I am out of town so I will be able to finish up well.

I'll weigh and post in the a.m.

Penny

:welcome: Penny. Most of us post daily, but that can be at the end of the day or the next morning. Sometimes life just gets in the way and that's OK too.

:hugs: Jennifer and welcome to boot camp. It's just tomorrow's number, we'll work the next 14-days on making a big dent in that number :high5:. If you find the !@#* scale frustraing feel free to stay scale-free until the end of boot camp. On the other hand if you are scale obsessed that's OK too - you'll fit right in :laugh:!

thanks ozdancer! The number wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I don't plan on it ever being that high again. I'm not too scale obsessed - once a day is my limit; my psyche can't take any more than that!

I would love to join in. I just joined LCF last week, and this is my absolute first post. I've been doing LC off and on for years, but it's time to get serious. I'll get my numbers posted first thing in the morning for everything that transpires today.

A little history - I started doing LC this time about a month ago and am down about 30 pounds so far. My last visit to the Dr had me at 364 pounds, the heaviest I've ever been.

I don't really know what 'version' of LC I'm doing. There are a lot of terms and jargon that is thrown around in the forums that I've not picked up on quite yet. Basically, I'm eating as few carbs as possible, but those that I do eat come from high fiber vegetables for the most part.

I'm looking forward to seeing how I do with this two week challenge!!

Allen
