Sandy: the Weber Q 100 uses disposable LP cylinders and dimensions are:
Grill Dimensions

* With the lid open:
* Height: 23.5 inches
* Width R-L: 27 inches
* Depth: 15.9 inches
Mine is actually the Q-300
* With the lid open and tables folded down:
* Height: 55.5 inches
* Width R-L: 36.5 inches
* Depth: 22 inches

2 of my kids still lived at home when I got it but Randy and I still utilize the size of it by cooking enough burger/hotdogs, etc. for leftovers for a couple days. I love this grill and there are a few smaller sizes and like I said, even one that uses the disposable cylinders. Ours hooks up to the big ol' LP gas tank.

if your vet can't help her.. try to take her to a holistic vet..sometimes acupuncture.. or acupressure can do wonderful things.

hope she will be feeling better soon!

Good morning!
Sipping on my coffee and soon will get ready for Curves and head out. It was a nice weekend but too short! THREE full weeks of work and then I have 10 days off! LOTS planned then. I might get a load of dirt to FINALLY fill in where the above ground pool was (I call it the pool pit!) Another thing I might do then is paint the kitchen and window treatments in the living room and kitchen. Randy might go fishing Memorial Day weekend to KY. I will stay home. I would also like to save up enough in Savings to get a fenced in area for the dogs (either front or back yard) so I can just open the door and let them out to potty...that might not happen this year. We shall see... All these years of flexi leads is wearing on me....

ladies,

Lou, sorry to hear Boingo's not doing so well. Keep us posted!

Marie, wahoo, 10 days of vacation time.

My total walking for today is 7.35 miles w/ Nike+ I'm not sure how much walking I will be able to do on Tuesday because I have a dental and mammogram consultation - have to get mammogram consult before I can see the doctor and then head down to radiology to schedule my appt. Gotta love, MIL hospitals!

I'm within my points range (day 1 today) - gotta figure how many points subway 6" on whole-wheat bread w/ steak & cheese, tomatoes and FF honey mustard and then will move on to having chicken breast for dinner. I made it in the crock pot w/ Italian dressing ...

I gotta go - family is waiting to go outside and I'm ready for some shorts.

Kaimi: Awesome on the walking! I have to schedule a mam and a colonoscopy for this year still. I made it to Curves today! I did some Wii Fit Plus yesterday and walked 2-3 miles Saturday so my goal of being more active is working out for me... My eating has not been the best but baby steps still. This week I will continue to be more active and want to get 2 bottles of water in per day.

good morning and Happy Monday to you all
doing a little happy dance this morning.. scale said 160.6! yeah!
got to keep on going.. and i can make it..
breakfast for me this morning is my whole wheat baked bread.. two slices.. with light whipped butter.
It was good .. but a bit on the HEAVY side.. don't know if it was because of the fiber in the whole wheat? since I ground it myself.. fresh? it came out more dense... but.. well.. I am sure.. very healthy! LOL
no idea how many points would be in two slices of that bread?

lunch.. well .. probably tortilla wraps again.. with lettuce.. tomato.. feta cheese.. hummus.
and dinner.. hmmm. I probably have left over salmon.. DH and DS will have some other left over.

Hope to get a good workout in.. this afternoon.. took Sat and Sunday off.. soooo... going back to the stairmaster and the treadmill today.. and hope I can run a little better then I did on friday.

Marie.. god for you on the walking.. you are doing it.. and you will be getting better and stronger each day.
I think I heard on TV some place that we must put our body OUT of the comfort zone.. and challenge it... and make it do things its not comfortable with! and push ourselves.. well.. I am a Big WUZZ~ and I hate doing it.. sooo I am not one that goes all out.. but I try to go a little further.. a little more each week. We have personal trainers in our gym... but... I do not think I could appreciate one of them! LOL
I got to do it at my own pace..

congrats on your walking Kaimi.. good luck with the appointments..
and I have my memo on the 6~! they make me come in EVERY year now. I hate it.. sigh.
but.. I go..sigh.
they won't give me a bone density test..because I still get TOM! sigh

M, almost at 159 - i hate getting "squished" with mamo's but I'm thankful for that machine.
whew, stuffed! first day of warm weather and having hamburgers on the grill. I ate a little bit extra & hopefully made up for it with my walking today.
gotta go - time to finish watching Precious - has anyone else seen it? Dh picked up Weeds Season 1 -

WTG Kaimi on walking. That's awesome.

And Marie, You've been doing great with your Curves resolution.

And Monika, Good For You on the loss!! And I mean it, lolol. That bread sounds wonderful. I know I couldn't trust myself around it.

I made it to the gym again so maybe I'm actually getting back in the groove. I think that makes 3 weeks that I've been back at it seriously. I'm really pushing myself while I'm there too. Heavier weights than I was. I did work back up to it within this last 3 weeks though. I didn't just jump onto high weights. Now I just need to get my food under control.

oh good for you Sandy!!!! it sounds like you are well on your way back!
did my work out.. and the most I can run.. is for 2=-2.5 min.. sigh. then I have to go back to walk.. for 2-3 min.. then I can run again for 2-3 min..
I did 2.25miles on the stairmaster for 30 min. and then 30 min -5 min cool down.. on the treadmill.. and.. well.. i am beat.
I got home and had an apple and some peanut butter..then I remembered that peanut butter is a FAT not a PROTEIN!!!!!! argh.

Our little group is doing so good.. we all are working out.. and doing a little bit of something extra to modify our life .. and are on the way to better and good health.. and that is most important..

Soo I am tired.. tuckered out... and ready to do NOTHING the rest of the eve.
Oh.. I HARVESTED little radishes! from the veggie garden.. to HOT for me.. .. they have a nice little BITE! DH loved them..

sooo brats.. with whole wheat buns/light... for DH and DS..and fresh corn... . salmon.. and salad for me... and that should do it for dinner.. maybe skinny cow ice cream for desert... that would put me 2pts over for today..
WW weigh in tomorrow EVE for me.. going back to evenings.. just can't deal with the lady Wednesday mornings...

Good morning!
Today I am feeling a bit off so thinking about not going to work out just today. We'll see. I am sipping on my coffee and might change my mind.
BL tonight and well, I am losing interest in it. I will probably dvr it and then fast forward to WI and elimination. This might be my last Season to watch it. I think it is that it is not realistic WL that gets me. Could also be part of the funk I am in this a.m.

Marie, hope you're out of your funk by now.

Monika, I almost bought skippy natural peanut butter on Monday. I measure, I eat, I measure, I eat. Can't do it right now, especially with restarting on day 2 for today. Now, dd's teacher says there is a 'tea' party w/ food for volunteers that has helped throughout the school year and on friday is caribbean food starting at 8:15 am OMG, I'm thinking of letting dd ride the bus that morning. Good luck at weigh-in tonight ...

I just finished dinner w/ a leftover hamburger/cheese salad ---- dd thought it was "icky" but it was really good w/ lettuce, cheese, croutons, bacon bits and ranch dressing.

I'm waiting for dh to come home and I'm closing down the house and going to rest in bed and take some 325mg of Tylenol the dental lady - gave me today. Wahoo, extra strength. Ouch, hurts on my right side.

Ladies, enjoy the BL tonight - sooo jealous but hello to usa in 1 year and 3 months if we don't get our extension and we're getting a satellite dish. It's been a long 6 years - tried of this free afn cable.

Yes I had a great time at the Taste of Cooking School last night.
I didn't win any prizes, 1st prize was an Microwave oven, then an kitchen aide blender, lots of cook books, knife sets, gift bags full of food. Plus then all the food items she made with the serving dishes were given away.

Weight is up a little this morning 191.5, I think it's just water weight. Monday night at my last night of work the girls had food for me so I had cheese & sauage.

I'm hoping that I can still see the biggest loser from last night this Friday on TV. But I really want to know who went home! I will miss next weeks show also do to my new job.

Glad you had a great time Carol! Sounds like fun...too bad you didn't win a prize.
Made it to Curves this a.m. I skipped yesterday and now wish I wouldn't have... I just realized I won't make it to Curves Saturday as I will have to get up early to watch Megan graduate....She will be a teacher K-9th grade with Math, Social Studies, English, Science and Reading endorsements. I got her a camera for graduation. She leaves in October for student teaching in England.....

oh congrats Marie.. that is wonderful! CONGRATS to Megan.. I know she will be happy and a very good teacher.

Well I enjoyed my WW meeting last night! so glad to be back in this group.. and also... good to see my old leader.. Her style is soooo much better for me.
so we did the meeting.. and then we attended a dinner for our friends daughters Birthday! She turned.. 13 OH MY!
first she wanted to do chinese.. but the place was packed.. so we ended up at the chicago street food place.
and I had a salad.. with ranch on the side.. and then grilled chicken breast on a roll.. it was good.. except.. it also had bacon and ... cheese on it.
and of course my weight and scale is up again.. sigh.
162! argh.. what can I say.. sigh.. I guess I should have eaten only 1/2 of the sandwich.. and that would have been enough... oh well..

Enjoyed BL last night! thought it was a great episode.. I really like this group.. and it is so much more fun to watch without the back stabbing and bickering..
I had to DVR it.. sooo it was good to FF through all the commercials etc..
well. got to go and make my breakfast...

and I do not know what I should have! LOL
Lunch.. lean cuisine
dinner... oh think my men will have the fajitas.. and I will find me something light..

awwww.. nobody here today...
so sad
I went to the gym and worked out.. I was on the treadmill first.. was doing pretty good until 17 min into the program.. and the machine DIED!!! argh.
I could not believe it..
I was going to do 30 min on the treadmill and 30 min on the stairmaster.. but ended up getting on another treadmill and did another 30 min.
I am frustrated.. because I still can't run more then 2 min .. and then I have to walk for 3-4 min.. to catch my breath.
also noticed that its taking a toll on my knees.
so I am going to walgreens and getting me better knee braces.
for lunch I had lean cuisine..
but I have not decided yet on dinner! LOL
I don't know.. sigh..
I am thinking of trying one of those hebrew hot dogs.. 75% fat free.. and one of the light whole wheat buns.. that is only 2pts... ? and I can pack it with lettuces.. tomato... etc...
I am getting HUNGRY.. I should make me a snack.. LOL

Monika, I'm here!

Been busy trying to get ready for my trip this Saturday. The weight has stayed off, but I was really wishing for more than the couple pounds.

I posted a thread in the PG today about and invitation I got for a shower. I can't even get into it, it's so ridiculous.

I am getting caught up and I have a client coming to my office tomorrow. That's a first. I usually go to them. I wonder what he'll think of my Tom Jones poster, Michael Jackson doll and Malibu Ken doll. I have a disco ball in here too. I have to remember to take the photoshopped naked picture magnet of Brad Pitt off my file cabinet.

Monika, you are doing so great with the exercise. DH too.

Lou

ETA. I really think cutting the sugar out of my diet is making a difference. I look at the sugar content of everything now. I'm trying to limit myself to the 16 grams they recommend on the fat belly diet.

Monika, don't get discouraged. I still get winded easily too but that really doesn't matter; we're moving!! And that's the important part right? I started out only running for probably 30 sec. and then walking a couple of minutes. And I still don't run for long periods of time. According the the heart monitoring plan I was doing that's the best way to burn the most calories. So, keep your chin up and just keep on truckin'. You're doing fantastic!! You might need to not run so long at a time either so your knees can adjust to it too.

Lou, I hope you have a wonderful trip. Your office/house sounds like a fun place! I'm sure your client will love it all.

good morning my ww friends.
I am not getting discourage.. but it is frustrating... LOL
scale still not budging.. or moving.. still stuck at 162 this morning..
argh.
I downloaded a 5k workout schedule for beginners.. and it pretty much tells me that I am doing it right!
so.. I will keep doing it and increasing my running time.. and decreasing the walking time.. with a cross training day in between.. and rest days.. so..
I guess just have to be patient.. and what else is new... LOL
I am going to focus on my daily points.. and I hope that I am just at a plateau.. and it will pass... LOL
I am excited because we have a fabulous hike planned for sunday.
My Mother's Day adventure.
LocalHikes - Ron Coleman Trail

breakfast today... fage.. 0% fat... and kashi go lean cereal.
lunch.. lean cuisine...
dinner.. chicken of something! LOL
got to check out the WW recipe site.

Sandy.. I have no idea what my ideal heart rate is...or my target heart rate... to burn the most cals?
when I am on the elliptical.. and I have the machine check it.. I go up as high as 169... when I am on the treadmill.. if it reads over 130 it starts to slow me down..
but I don't feel like I am getting enough of a burn/workout below 145?

How do you figure that one out? just sitting in my chair.. my heart rate is 60 bpm...?

LOU where are you off too? another cruise?
yes.. sugars and starches.. LOL.. they will do it to us every time....hahahah..
and than... I am trying to watch the sodium too...

The nutrient targets are set by age, gender and calorie requirements. I will assume that you are less than 50 year old. They are:
I am trying to use that as my daily guidelines.. but it is HARD! ahahahahah

I found this info online.

What is Your Target Heart Rate?

In order to figure out which zone you're in, you first need to figure out what your own target heart rate is. You can do this by using the Karvonen Formula. You can also use any number of target heart rate calculators to get your heart rate zone, but many of them do not incorporate your resting heart rate (which makes it a bit more accurate).

Below is an example of the Karvonen formula for a 23 year old person with a resting heart rate of 65 beats per minute (*to get your resting heart rate, take your pulse for one full minute.):

220 - 23 (age) = 197
197 - 65 (resting heart rate) = 132
132 * 65% (low end of heart rate) OR 85% (high end) = 85.8 OR 112.2
85.8 + 65 (resting heart rate) = 150 112.2 + 65 (rhr) = 177
The target heart rate zone for this person would be 150 to 177

For this person to work in his 'fat burning' zone, he would need to stay around 150 beats per minute or lower. To work within his 'cardio' zone, he would need to work at 150 bpm or higher. This step-by-step article will help you learn more about finding your target heart rate and how to use it.

ah.. thanks...
so... I am 220-51=169
169-65= 104
104 *65% =83
83 + 65= 148 ???
ok.. got it..
It hink.. hahahah...
I have been shooting for 145-160 and getting it for at least 20 min.. so I guess that would mean I am doing ok..

thank you my friend..

I had a good workout on the elliptical today. I bought me new knee braces.. and they seem to help me quiet a bit.
I bought two different ones.. and I like one better then the other.. so.. I am going to exchange it tomorrow.

not working out tomorrow.. because I have my boob squish
My pap.. came back fine.. all normal.. so.. one test down and few more to go.
got the one tomorrow.. ouchie...
and then our physical.. next thursday.. and I am sure they will schedule us for blood work and lab work...

decided for dinner I will just make whole wheat pita pockets.. with Tzatziki sauce and tomoato.. lettuce, feta cheese..
that will be quick and easy.
