Well I hope I do as well this weekend as I did last week. Going to a party tomorrow night.

josie I like that name alot better

Linda by teaching spinning you know that you'll always get your exercise in. What does the meat and egg plan do. Does it jump start the weight loss. I noticed you said you only do it for one day.

Cortney I think your menu sounds delis not boring at all. I tend to eat the same B and L during the week.

Ok everyone the weekend will be here so we have to try our best to make it through it. I know it's my hardest time of the week.

Today
B-coffee and flax muffin
L-cut up vegis with ranch dressing
D-grilled steak, crab and cc stuffed mushrooms and salad

Hey Misty,the meat/egg fast is supposed to get you back in ketosis and help the appetite along with a quicker weight loss. The problem is that after a couple of days of very low carb it can be fatiguing and if you add back carbs too quickly you regain the weight. Here's a link that others use to check in.

todays menu
bf/ 2 fried eggs and coffee with half&half
L/ taco salad made with venison,ranch and a bit of cheese
D/ cat fish- I now know i do not like cat fish lol.

and now I making deviled eggs out of boredom so I am sure I will be eating some of them too. I hope my wii tells me something nice in the morning. I dont know if any of you have wii fit or not but when you weigh on it if you are fat it tells you that you are obese. LOL I can't wait till it starts at least letting me slide with overweight.

Here we go again: 184.5 ARGH The results of eating way off plan and binging for two day. Doesn't take long to put on 7 lbs but it takes forever to take it off. Shooting for 159 by the end of summer.

Walked this morning for an hour briskly and even dug up fern and hostas and replanted yesterday. Today, off to the city mulch pile for free mulch. More shoveling and spreading.

well the deviled eggs where good. I ate WAY too many of them. well I am down another 1 1/2 lbs today. I have a feeling it will not stay though. I think its more due to dehydration from having a few to many rum and diet cokes with the hubby last night. and I must say I am not feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed at all today. UGH. LOL

Vicki, I thought of you this morning when I got on the scale and sai I WOULDN'T. Evidently we both can't be trustes with the scale. I'm right there with you girlfriend at 168.5, up 3.5 lb. after my bingeing. Heaven knows what it would have been if I didn't stay on plan yesterday. My goal is 139 by the end of summer. Let's do it Then we'll go off and start a maintenance thread.

I can think of a lot worse thing to overdo it on than deviled eggs, jusdt ask me and Vicki. Good job on staying on plan and going down 1.5 lb.


Planning a good on plan day. I taught spinning this morning.

BR - atkins shake, bl. coffee
LU - large salad, 4 oz. chicken, 1/2 cp. beets, Miso salad dressing
DI - out to dinner and will stay lowcarb
SN - 1.5 oz. light string cheese

Ckecking in for accountability. Not having a good day emotionally and obviously the sermon didn't stick with me this morning in church. NO MATTER WHAT I will NOT eat over my emotions. Starting P90X again today.

Thanks for the encouragement. I decided to get myself up and go to the gym. I had to gorce myself to go in but when I left my mood was better. I then went to Sam's and the nuts were calling my name but I didn't give in. Nutsw are a real binge food for me so I need to stay way far away from them because I can eat tons of calories in nuts.

A little about me

Ok , I am the mother of 6 children ages 31,23,23,17,11,and 11 two sets of twins.

I have been married to my third husband for 20 years, hay the third time's a charm LOL.

I am a Registered Nurse working in ER.

I enjoy writing , and performing poetry .

I am the administrator of mu churches food share ministry , and we feed over 100 people each month.

6 weeks ago I went to the Dr and was 278lb, I started eating between 1000-1200 low carb low fat cal and today I am 247lb.

I want to be 200 before October , and for me that is goal

I am 6 ft tall and big boned, and I look good at that size 12-14.

I will welcome the support and I look forward to getting to know every on

Thanks for sharing. Wow, 31 lb. in 6 weeks that's awesome and you will definitely meet your goal by October. Vicki is also a nurse and I am an Echocardiology Technologist. What hospital do you work for? I've had the privilege of attending several seminars where Dr. Nanda spoke from UAB. Feel free to post your menu if you want. We may all want to eat what you are eating. You are a busy lady with work, church and kids. WTG on taking care of YOU.

Linda, I'm sorry you are having a tough day. I sure know what those are like.

It's been an uneventful weekend. Had a pedicure and fill/manicure for my nails so I feel "fem" again....it's amazing how that picks me up.

This may sound too simple, but when I'm feeling down, if I go into a flower shop and look around at all of the beauty, I find that by the time I leave, my mood is so much better!

Have a great evening! The finale of Celebrity Apprentice is on - it will be ineresting to see if Brett Michaels makes it - I would be surprised if he did, do to his health problems recently.

Hey Gibby, what a great idea about the flower shop. I will try that some time. I love flowers. I know what you mean about getting the nails done. Something so simple is so uplifting. Good for you doing something for yourself.

Great job on the weight loss. you are kicking tail! I have been at it for a bit less then a month and i lost just short of 10 lbs so far. I hope that I can say I have lost the amount you have in 3 months. wow 6 kids. how did you do it?? lol I have 3 and at times I am overwhelmed. Well good luck all. oh and I was right about the extra lb coming back.... that always seems to happen when me and the hubby have a few cocktails. ow well. at least it didn't go above where it was to start.

Hi all, I am exhausted. Dug up and replaned fern and hostas and hauled many, many pounds of mulch over the weekend.

Kitty, Welcome. I am a nursing instructor at a community college and i have 3 boys: 26, 23 and 10. I am getting remarried June 2011. congrats on the wt loss.

Gibby, I never got into any of those shows.
