It's a sure sign that I need to be in BED! Good night!
Hope you got some rest. I hate when that happens.

Laura, thanks for sharing. I'm struggling right now too. I will be back on plan as of now and getting the crap I just bought out of the house. In the past I would be isolating but not now. I'm fessing up and moving on. You too!! Get some rest after that nasty long day.

I'm getting the crap out of my house too. I even had to go out to buy it when Roger went to play tennis. I hate this hiding of the food.

I wasn't going to report my weight, but it is important to be accountable.

This morning, I think I had an "ah ha" moment. I was getting dressed and walked by the mirror naked and caught sight of myself in profile. I've seen myself before, obviously, but for some reason, it really caught my attention. I was grossed out!!!!! Now, everytime the opportunity arises to eat something not on plan, I'm going to remember that moment and how I felt.

Sweetie Pie - Yes, I have modified the NutriSystem plan somewhat. They do use low-glycemic carbs but there are carbs. Because I have over 100 pounds to lose, they want me to add a carb at breakfast and dinner and a fruit to lunch. Instead of those, I add protein. I do allow myself the serving of fruit they give me at morning snack, but I eat strawberries and I don't get very many.

I need to get to work - have a great day everyone!
Thanks for sharing that aha moment and staying accountable. I agree with you it's important.

Vicki, hope your day went well.

Misty, how's it going?

Sam, is it day 12 yet?

Cortney?? how are u?

Need to go e mail my sponsor.

Laura, Sending some more hugs & encouragement. Just get the rest you need & we'll see you in a couple days!

Gibby, Yes, accountability is good. That kind of hit me between the eyes when you said that. I need to be here & be accountable NO MATTER WHAT. I'm glad you had an 'aha' moment - I can totally relate.

Vicki
, Congrats again And when you've got more time, details are always a good thing I missed all the action while I was away!

SlimLiz, Getting the crap out is a great idea! Good luck.

Linda, How did your sponsor chat go?

-------------

Today wasn't really a carb-free day, but I can say it was a much BETTER day than I've had in a long time. Baby steps.

My weigh in is in my avatar..

Now, I'm going to close the kitchen, & just have come Crystal Light while I snuggle up on the couch. Night night!

ok so i kinda skipped out on the weigh in yesterday. I was hoping the scale would be nicer to me today but no such luck. I am at 233. the woosh fairy came to see me then took it back the next day and a bit more the next. lol but it was not too bad. I pretty much figured it would happen. so good luck everyone! hopfuly the scale is nicer to all of you then it was to me this week! I think it is time for me to step it up on the exercise and watch my carbs a bit closer. I decided to put all my food into the livestrong daily plate. according to that i had about 43 carbs yesterday. but it did not take into account for the net carbs in the atkins foods. off to go shopping! yippie

Vicki, good job on the loss. I knew you would get a roll going. KUTGW.

Cortney, that scale is fickle for sure. I never heard of the daily plate. Is it just a food tracker. I use *********** to track my food.

I had an excellent day yesterday and am staying off the scale. I hope to stay off until 6/1 which is the official GS weigh day. I accomplised all my goals and more yesterday.
BR - 2 HB eggs, apple, bl. coffee
LU - 4 oz. chicken, 4 oz. beets, 8 oz. raw veg., 1 T fat
DI - 4 oz. turkeyburger with soy cheese, 8 oz. cooked veg, 16 oz. raw veg., 3 T fat, up to 2 oz. salsa optional

Have a great day. Off to have my devotion time.

Yea, Linda.

Sweetie-Gosh, where do I start. I met fiance' Dec. 08 on Match and we exchanged emails and phone calls for almost 6 weeks before our first date mid Jan. 09. I thought the date was a flop because he hardly talked and didn't say anything when he pulled up in my driveway. I went in the house and bawled. I striked it up as another failed attempt. But, a couple days later he emailed me and said he had a good time, so we continued.

This past Dec. I asked him when he was going to ask me the ? He teased me and said what ? I said like to marry you. So, he asked. Then we started on dates and originally had Aug 1 scheduled but he will be better off financially and I will have a sewer problem fixed (I hope) by June of next year.

One thing that helped me with finding this man was a vision board. After a break off with a man I had dated for a year and wasn't divorced, only separated, was to make a vision board. I cut out pictures and words that represented my "ideal" man and pasted them on a poster board and hung it in my exercise room. It helped me out when I hooked up with a couple of men prior to meeting fiance'. Those guys only met about 10% of the things on the board, but fiance' has met about 90%. Not perfect, but who is?

Those on this board who have been around may remember one of those 10% as HG, Harley Guy. I bobbed around in his hot tub because I wore my bathing suit. The bubble blew up the suit and kept me afloat. My finace' came into the picture about the same time I was with HG and fiance' became SG (school guy) because he works at a school.

So, there it is in a nutshell.

Exercise: Kettlebell Bootcamp

B: 2 egg cheese and bacon omelet, coffee w halfnhalf, coconut oil
L: deli meat and cheese, mayo, mustard, "crackers" (recipe to follow YUMMO), veggies or salad
D: Italian casserole w salad

Wanted to share this product with you guys. It is fabulous and you can purchase it at whole foods or netrition and actually Netrition has the very best price. It is called Galeos salad dressing. It has only 14 calories per tablespoon. Here's the netrition link:

Good morning!

Vicki-I guess I didn't know about Harley Guy....

I've heard about the "vision board" from watching Oprah. It sounds like a smart thing to do for all areas of our lives. Did anyone else watch Oprah yesterday? She had the author of "Women, Food and God" on. What an awesome book - I had several "ah ha" moments just watching the program. I'm going to pick it up.

Have a great day everyone - stay on plan! Do what I do now and picture yourself naked - that should do it

Hey Misty we missed you but I'm glad you are doing well. You are doing something nice for somone AND getting in your exercise. That's a win win situation. Thanks for the reminder not only that I did it before but that I don't have near as much weight to lose. I made a committment to stay off the scale until June 1. I even started a challenge to do that to hold myself accountable. So far no one has joined. That's OK cuz I will do it alone if need be. One thing I know for sure is that if I stay on this plan with no cheats, I WILL lose weight by June 1 even taking into account my last couple of cheats this month.

Hey everyone. I have not been on in a few days. sorry for the late reply Linda. the daily plate is a food tracker on LIVESTRONG.COM - Health, Fitness, Lifestyle | LIVESTRONG.COM I like the site allot and best of all it is free. i was paying $17.00 a month to use weight watchers page. livestrong has pretty much all the same stuff and tools on it. you can search pretty much any food and its in the database and has all the nutrition content. it will tell you have many carbs you have eaten and it will tell you how many calories you are supposed to eat for your age/weight/hight to lose. I dont watch my calories right now but lately i have been way under anyhow. but you guys should check it out its a pretty neat page. any how lost 2 more lbs since yesterday! woo hoo! I think i may not be eating enough though. I feel a bit light headed today. its kinda hard to make myself eat when im just not hunger. I did not get a chance to read all the posts i just skimmed through. CONGRATS to everyone for all your good work. back to spring cleaning. It never seems to be done.

3 boys under 4 That should keep you out of the food. Glad you stopped by. I just love seeing that sweet little face.

Having a good day with my food. I went to the grocery store and went past some of my favorite foods and for once I didn't even have the desire to pick them up. What was unusual about that was that it was way past my lunch time and normally I would be starving and pick up ANYTHING at the store. But I asked for God's help to stay on plan and once again God is faithful I came home and ate my big salad with chicken, red, fa feta cheese, beets and my new love, Galeo salad dressing.

Have a great day everyone.

Linda, thanks for the reminder to start my day right w/ my devotions. I've got tomorrow off work, so I plan to start my day right, and let God put everything else in place for the day.

Will check back in with everybody tomorrow... I'm BEAT & ready for bed!
