After gaining at the end of last month and restarting a strong commitment. I,m happy to be down 1 lb since my restart on the 1st. This morning 136.2. I'd love to see 130 by June 1st but I know it'll be tough.

Linda your right I'd rather stay the same rather than see a gain.

oops forgot to post my weight yesterday. forgot to check it too. but according to my wii fit i am down .7 of a lb since the day before yesterday. ill take it i suppose but i wish it where more. lol so it says 234.1 its been exactly a week since i started and looks like i lost just over 3 lbs. I'm sure it would go faster but its hard for me to eat only meat. i love eggs and cheese. and i use splenda. i should probly stop though and learn to like coffee with just cream.

Sam, you look great.

Linda, it is always good to see you posting.

Cortney, you are doing well.

Misty, you go girl.

Hoops, how are you feeling?

Me, much less stress. Fiance' and I are postponing wedding to next June, whew. I felt I was under too much stress. Maybe that will take care of the eating. I just need to buckle down and go no/VLC to clean out.

Misty, every pound is a pound closer to that goal I can see you getting to or close to 130 by 6/1. Have you ever done a meat egg fast. I find if I do that for a day or 2 it kicks the weight loss into gear, just a thought.

Courtney, 3 lb. is great, fast weight loss doesn't always stay off so good job.

Just posting cuz I'm having a really hungry night. But, I won't eat no matter what. I've heard people say that when they get hungry like this they tell themselves they must be losing weight. I'm solidly in the 160's now even in the evening when I weigh more so I'm not turning back now, no way. I'm going to go have a diet coke.

I've been MIA. Sorry... I've gone to work and then napped after getting home. I've eaten some crap... anyway...

I haven't weighed a few days, and I am going to wait until next Tuesday to weigh in again. I did great last week, slipped, and I am back on plan.

I will read the past posts tomorrow afternoon. I need to head to bed.

Checking in, todays going to be another nice day so doing to do some more yard work. Got to the gym nice and early.

Linda hope the Diet Coke filled you up. Is there anything they recommend on your weight loss plan that you could have on hand in case it happens again? I sometimes find if I'm real active all day or eat to early I get hungry.

Laura glad your right back on plan, that whats important.

Gave away the treats I received today for Teacher Appreciation Week. Golly, I've been given food and sweets all week. I can get through one more day. I didn't do so well the beginning of the week though.

Lizzie- I really like Scarsdale.

Misty- Are you planting flowers in the yard?

I Am Starting Over Today

After binging all day yesterday on carbs, cookies, crackers, candy, and popcorn <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<inflicted self abuse, I am ready to begin anew. I feel like crappola and bloated this morning. In fact, I didn't want to exercise Gee I wonder why HA But, I made myself.

Here is what I am going to do. I am going to weigh daily for a while and post it. I didn't start today though, I was afraid to see it. Beginning tomorrow I will post my daily weight. I am also going to include my exercise for the day and my menu. The following day I will state if I followed said menu. I need daily accountability. And, I expect I am going to lose KOPS status at TOPS this week. We can be out of leeway but have to return to our leeway in two weeks of going out. I was still 4 lbs over last week and after my binges the past two days, I don't think I will be back in leeway.

Exercise: The Firm Basics: Fat Burning Workout

B: 1/2 c coconut milk; 1/2 c plain yogurt; protein powder; chia seeds; AS pkt (stevia); coffee/halfnhalf/coconut oil

L: salad and veggies; 1 can albacore tuna; dressing

S: cream cheese Ragu (browned Italian sausage/grnd beef; rotel tomatoes; rhutabaga; zucchine; mushrooms; french style green beans and cream cheese; veggies or salad.

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone has a great onplan day. Vicki, sounds like a good plan.

Misty, on GS there is nothing you can eat in between meals. It is 3 meals a dya with nothing in between but black coffee, tea or diet soda. It is very strict but I do best with boundaries. My problem in the past is grazing even on low carb foods. Thus, the reason for the gain and no loss. I'm determined to get back to 139 by my 60th birthday on Sept. 17.

BR - 2 HB eggs, apple
LU - 4 oz. chicken, 1 oz. wheat germ, 8 oz. raw veg., 1 T fat, 1 T flaxseed meal
DI - 4 oz. steak, 8 oz. cooked cauliflower, 16 oz. raw veg., 3 T fat

Laura I did plant some herbs but we're still in the danger zone of a frost so no flowers or vegies until Memorial Day. First year I moved here I was so excited to move on a lake that I planted a bunch and the next morning they we're so dead. I learned and expensive lesson. Do you have warm weather all year around? Wtg on giving away the treats

Vicki I like your plan. I think I may start posting my menu for the day. I notice that there's really not a thread where people post there menus daily. I do weigh in on the Daily Weighers thread, If you like come join us. We have alot of followers. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...ead-may-5.html I find by seeing that everyone has up and downs really keeps me saine.

Linda I''m sure you'll get to your goal by your B-Day. You did it once. You'll do it again.

Menu
B-coffee and scramble eggs w/salsa
L-egg salad rolled in romain lettuce
D-baked chicken, spaghetti squash in garlic butter and parm. cheese and salad

Confession, breakfast went as planned. But, today being graduation, I succumbed to temptation and had 2 cookies, nuts, and 4 crackers. When I got home, I had celery with braunschweiger. I am having herbal tea now (It is 48 here BRRRRR) and tonight's meal will go as planned.

Misty, thanks for the daily weigher link. I will check it out.

Back on plan so hopefully things will improve rapidly!

Misty, your menu looks good. I think it's a good idea to post our menu just to stay accountable.

Vicki, the first day getting back on track is the toughest. Good job on not throwing in the towel and eating dinner as planned. A couple of days and you'll be on a roll.

Courtney, good jon on the loss. That's encouraging.

Gibby, how can we help? The hardest part is finding a plan that you can live with. For me, I need structure.

Lizzie and Sam we miss you.

Hoops, how's it going?

I have eaten my dinner and I changed it up because I didn't have to make dinner for Roger so I already had some cooked chicken and had that in a large salad and then 8 oz. of cabbage cooked in oil. I din't really enjoy my dinner and I am wanting something else BUT I will not eat no matter what. I have a feeling that tonight will be a white knuckle night but that's OK. No food tastes as good as thin feels. It will be rewarding on weigh day to see the scale go down. I am sick, sick sick and tired of going up and down the same 10 lb.

More treats at work today, and I brought them home for my son. I am on plan and feeling accomplished for doing so.

Vicki- Good plan to post your menu and weight. Whatever works best for you!

Linda- You look so good! After I read 60th birthday I glanced at your age and my jaw dropped! You look so much younger!

Misty- Oh am I envious of your house along a lake. That is what I want someday.

Cortney Ann- Woo Hoo is right! WTG on the 2 pound loss.

Marilee- It happens to us all. I really believe what matters most is how long it takes us to get back on plan.

Thanks for the offer, Linda, but I know what to do. NS is a very structured eating plan - I just have trouble dealing with the mental disciplline. And, for Cinqo de Mayo, we had a "build your own burrito" lunch at work - carbs everywhere - and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mexican food. Need I say more?

Anyway, that triggered cravings for more carbs and big binging. I'm ok now - back on plan for dinner.

Well tomorrow is going to be really the test of time for me. Our Mothers day BBQ got cancel because it's supposed to be rainy and windy. So kids are taking me out to a afternoon brunch and the Dh is taking me out to dinner with another couple because them they have no family living near the. So I've got to really watch it, because the scale really doesn't like it when I eat out alot.

Menu for today
B-black coffee and 1 min muffin w/cream cheese
L-Bowl of cabbage soup
D-grilled steak, steamed broccoli and salad

Hope everyone has a great Mothers Day

After eating what I wanted for 4 days and on plan for 2, I am almost back to what I had lost. I really get annoyed with myself when I lose weight, regain some, and then have to lost it again! It is quite frustrating, even though I know sticking nachos and Church's chicken in my mouth willl do that to me! Day 3 clean.... I am not following a particular plan anymore, just making good choices. Of course, Mother's Day is tomorrow and my sis follows Atkins. I have a big party on May 21 and Bachelorette party May 22, which will both include liquor and finger foods!

Sweetie Pie

Gibby- I love Mexican Food, too! My favorite! Glad you're back on plan!

Lizzie- You can have some of our heat. I've been running the AC for a while now!

Misty- You're menu looks great today! You will make good choices eating out.

Vicki- What is KOPS status?

Thanks Hoops. Good job on resisting the treats. It is so hard to do but so worth it.

I did my Spinnning class today and am preparing my dinner to take with me to a cookout. A friend invited us to a nearby state park to a get together. I have already had my breakfast and lunch. I'm making my dinner portable.

Dinner - 2 flax/wheat germ buns (these are great to make ahead. The lowcarb version is flax muffins but I substitute 1 oz. of wheat germ and 1 T flaxseed meal. They are made in muffintop pans and each one sliced in half make a nice little sandwich. Check them out. Here's the link.....Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes)
2 oz. red fat. salami
16 oz. of sliced yellow peppers, baby carrots and pickles
2 oz. salsa mixed with 3T light ranch dressing

Have a great day and keep your eye on the prize.

After a person has a goal wt determined by a health care professional (mine was 170), then that person has a leeway to stay in to remain a KOPS: 3 pounds over and 7 under (mine would be 163-173) If you go out of leeway, either direction, you have 2 weeks to get back in it. I have been out of leeway on the high end for 2 weeks now and when I weigh in on Tuesday, if I am above 173 which I probably will be, then I lose KOPS status.
