It is low compared to the average weight of women today, but...

1. I used the BMI chart. 118 gives me a BMI that is still in normal range
2. That is the average weight of 5'6" actresses

Well so much for being a lb down yesterday, I gained it back today We went out for chinese last night and it kills me everytime. They put so much sodium and msg in it that I bloat up like a blimp, even my fingers a swollen. So going to up my water today and hope it's just water weight. That's why I try not to go there to often, but we had friends over that's what everyone was in the mood to eat.

This week isn't going to be as kind as last I'm afraid. Besides tennis the other night I haven't been able to get out at all to exercise. Plus I think I have over indulged in a few legal treats. I'll be happy as long as there is no gain!

Actually.... make that 3 as of this am! I started using the Atkins Journal 6 days ago and it is helping me to keep my carbs to an average of 15/day. After a month of up/down scale weight, I've finally lost three pounds! The journal is great. I highly recommend it. It is working much better for me than keeping track in a non-focused journal was working for me.

I used to use TheDailyPlate. it is like ****** but the write-in-and-carry-around journal is working better for me this go-round. I got mine on Amazon.

Inga thanks I going to have to look for that one. I write everything down in a note book but it's to big to carry around and it funny I do carry a small note pad for when I'm out.

I had a really bad week. My dog died. I'm so so sad. The house is so quiet without her. And lonely- she followed me everywhere so I was never alone even with Dh and the kids aren't here. Sorry you had such I difficult week, but I am glad you got back on plan after a side track from grief. It is always difficult losing a pet, my sympathies & thoughts to you.

I am really disappointed with my loss this week. I was doing Stillman's for the last month, then had ONE high fat day, for energy, which caused me to gain 2lbs and took me the rest of the week to lose!! Grrrr!!! I am off Stillman's now so we'll see how next week goes!!

Congrats to all of you who have lost a little and more, and those who haven't, in the famous words of Scarlet O'Hara, "tomorrow is another day".
This morning I weighed in and the scale said 167.8. I said "no way". So I got on again, and it said 168.6, and I said "oh boo". So I got on again and it said 167.8. Anyway, I think you see where this is going. So I decided to split the difference and report 168 today.
I only did a few minutes of Wii and one video workout this week. Poor dogs, didn't even walk them at all this week. I've been having to work a lot lately... it's that time of year things get crazy busy. Excuses, excuses... eventually I will make this exercise thing stick!

Hi All,

Sorry I didn't post yesterday - had the day off and didn't even think about it!

Well - I'm still eating on plan but I need to increase the exercise I think. I was very proud of myself over the weekend.....we were attending a wedding reception where I had no control over what food would be served. I stayed on plan I ate the garden salad (mine and DH's) baked chicken, no stuffing or potatos, the green beans - this is big for me as usually I have no willpower at all!!

So sorry Sammyann, I lost my sheppie-girl in November and it wrecked me for a month. She was old and had a stroke but that triggered a return of an ED, 12 pound loss, long recovery and regain, and here I still am, back to trying to lose weight in a healthy way. Sucks.

If I may... take Bach rescue remedy: 4 drops, 4 times per day. It really helped me over the "I don't deserve to live, I "killed" my dog" thing.
