Hi Everyone,

Wouldn't you know, I start a new challenge and then get sick... bad cold morphed into bronchitis, add in Spring flowering tree alergies and I was knock flat for more than a week... still not completely recovered, but getting better.

Too sick to stick to the induction eating plan or to exercise. Haven't been in the pool for 10 days and skipped personal trainer, but I did loss 2.6 lbs, so not too disappointed.

Starting on induction in a few days when feeling better.

Nancy get well soon

I was pleasantly surprised to have my 3rd day of weight loss in a row. I am looking forward to seeing what I weigh come Monday. I think I was over exercising and that caused the stalls & gains I experienced. I do plan to restart strength training later this week or early next. Eventually I will re-add some cardio, but in much lesser amounts then before. What I ate today:

B- 3 poached eggs & 2 all meat frankfurters
L- Steamed fish with green beans & some butter
D- Chicken salad with ranch & 1 fried thigh
S- coffee

Nancy ss you got so sick, but I hope your starting to feel better. Wtg on losing but I know that wasn't the way you wanted it gone

Got to the gym nice and early this am. It's going to be rainy and cold all day so I got find some little projects to do inside. Taking Dh out to dinner tonight for his BD so trying not to eat alot today and save my carbs for dinner.

Pattys Eggnest, a local rest., makes a 4 egg scramble with chorizo, tomatoes, onions and green pepper, they serve it with salsa and sour cream. I tell them hold the potatoes, salsa and toast. I always plan to get something else but I always get it anyway LOL

Congrats you losers! I think I am still gaining but I don't want to get on the scale. I am keeping the carbs under 20 and increasing my fats, so I guess at some point my metabolism should kick in.

Good morning all!

Tried to eat very clean last week and managed to do some sort of exercise all 7 days. I think that perhaps I was retaining a bit of water on last Mondays weigh in that attributed to my 5 pound loss this past week. Regardless I'll graciously accept it. Hopefully I'll see it dip below the 200 barrier next Monday. Hope everyone has a great week and congrats to all you losers out there!

I didn't have a loss this week, I did eat clean all week and I feel really good, I had such a great loss last week that I'm completely okay with no loss this week. I met my exercise goal of walking at least 4 times per week. (the dogs have been really excited about this.....they love to go for walks! ).

I'm back!

I have a new trainer who put me on what is known as an accelerated Buff Bride Challenge. She wants me to write down my daily menu plans for the next few days and then on Friday we'll discuss and tweak it for my workouts. Last night was tough. She had me do cardio on the elliptical for 20 minutes, then chest, triceps, and shoulders. Today it'll be cardio either on the treadmill for 17 minutes or elliptical for 20. Then abs (HER) way.

Oh boy! LOL!
