I didn't weight yesterday because it was my Daughter's 12th birthday and I ate off plan all weekend and I sprained my ankle and couldn't step on the scale anyway. I'm able to put some weight on my ankle today thankfully but it looks like no exercise for me for a week at least

In2Win, thanks for asking about my ankle. Its much better. I can walk around on it but its still sore and I can't yet do any aerobics. I'm going to try weight lifting this week. I need to get a new pair of tennis shoes. I only have sketchers shape ups and the unstability is not good for my ankle. Hopefully I can do that today. Great job on your loss this week!!! How'd you do that? I keep gaining and losing the same two pounds for a couple weeks now. Its so frustrating.

I wish I knew I changed a few things starting May 1st and have lost 5 lbs since. One was being more consistent in my exercise & its intensity. The other is making 5 days a week around 25g net carbs, 35g the rest of the week. I also stopped eating or drinking ANYTHING but water 5 hours before bed. Last but not least, I also started making homemade low carb cookies & treats & eating them 3-5 times a week. So it could be any of those things or all of them Guess I will just have to keep it up regardless.

Glad your ankle is doing better

Unfortunately, I'm not making any of my other challenge goals. I'm not exercising, I'm not taking my supplements. I just can't seem to form any good habits right now. It's a very crazy time for me work-wise. I teach college, and this is the time of year where between finals, projects, papers, and grades for students, and committee obligations to colleagues, things are insane because it's all due and needs to be wrapped up at pretty much the same time. A couple more weeks and it will all be over and I'll be able to concentrate on my goals.

I feel your pain. Last Sunday, I weighed 187.4, knew I had a planned cheat day on Sunday afternoon which caused me to gain 5lbs, so I spent the rest of the week getting that 5lbs back off! That's why I didn't even check in last week... lol, it was a loss that should have been but wasn't quite... ha. Back to the grind!

So........ I was so excited last week to post that I had a loss. This week is a different story.... I made several bad choices. I am back to making good choices as of now, and will hopefully be able to post next Monday. I did buy the callenetics video and started using it, so that is a plus.

Two more days and I am "free" for the summer! I have a full day of grading, grading, and more grading planned today, but after that, just some finals to score and course grades to calculate, and I'll be done by Wednesday night after Graduation.
I've revised my exercise goals. I started the Couch to 5K running program on Saturday. I do Week 1 Day 2 on Tuesday. I've also ordered the Callenetics DVD. People just swear by it, so I'll give it a try.

Where is everybody this week?
I'm on week 2 of Couch to 5K and I did one hour of Callanetics last week. I'm sore all over, but it's a good sore. I'm going to do one hour of Callanetics today. So, I'm doing good on my exercise goals.
I weighed in at 165.4 yesterday. Today it was up to 169 and that's just not possible, so I put yesterday's weigh in for the challenge. It could be because of the exercise (muscles holding water) or the fact that I ate a lot of salty food yesterday. I don't know, but it certainly ain't body fat!!
We've only got 3 weeks left of the challenge, and it's clear I'm not going to reach my weightloss goals, but I'm determined to meet my others. Time to get serious about the supplements!
