I'm glad Harley boy is gone to - if it's who I think it is

Great news! I started on my modified NS program last Tuesday and I weighed this morning and I'm down 9 pounds! Not even a week yet!

I'm at work so I need to go. Everyone have a great day, but I had to share my good news.

I'll be even happier when I break into new numbers instead of losing and gaining the same stupid pounds. I'll keep you posted!

Whoop, Whoop Gibby.

Lizzie, no the wt recorders cancelled TOPS due to the fog?????? Only a few people were affected by that, those living in the country and out of town. I feel, as the leader, it should be my decision and I should have said something but just went with it. Heck, I think it would be up to the individual person as to whether they wanted to come or not.

Gibby wtg 10 lbs is terrific. KUTGW you'll be seeing the new lbs go down in know time.

I'm not seeing much of a loss on the scale yet. But I feel like I'm losing inches, we get measured at the gym the end of the month and I can't wait.

I really upped my gym workout today because I don't go on the weekends but I try and do exercise tapes. It makes for a nice change.

Glad to see you back Linda.

I started weighing daily on my home scale to hopefully get back on track. I am ashamed of weight creep. My eating has gotten out of control and I am up 10 lbs. Size 10's are tight. I can see now where 10 lbs = 1 size. So, I am changing my stats.

HI Linda

I'm so happy this morning, I'm down 2 lbs since the 1st. Being such a slow loser at this stage it great for me. I've been yo yoing up and down the same few lbs for months. I'm hoping to lose 2 more by the end of March. Just slow and steady.

Hey all--

I just wanted to stop in and give you all an update, and send my hugs to you all.

It looks like you're all doing pretty well, and if not well, are pulling the reigns in and are getting back on track (which is no small feat!).

I have been doing alright-- ups and downs in terms of eating, and have gained some back to my holding of 190 (which my body seems to just love right now). But I guess I can't really blame anyone but myself, as my eating has been nowhere near stellar since the beginning of February. I'm only now starting to get back at it-- going to the gym and getting in ketosis (which only took a day, thanks to a hearty workout!).

My Grandma passed away last week and that, coupled with the few days she was hospitalized, has been time and energy consuming. I knew that eating cr&p wouldn't make me feel any better, but I did it nonetheless, as though "I deserved it". What's worse is that I know if my Grandma were here she would want me to be beautiful and happy, and would want me to lose weight. So technically, I should be doing the opposite in her memory. And I'm trying.

This week is "match week". I found out today that I matched into an internal medicine residency program. I find out on Thursday which one. I really, really, really, want my top choice, and if I don't get it, I don't really even care where else I end up. I'll be disappointed. But I'll survive. The suspense is killing me though!

So this week is filled with pre-match festivities-- going out, bar crawls, dinners etc. I am determined to "be good" and still lose weight.

I got the dress for the wedding I'm in May 1st and it is tight. Can't really zip it. UGH. I HAVE TO FIT INTO IT. I'm not sure how much I could let it out if I got it altered. Now the question is, weights or cardio? I like weights better, but right now I just need to be smaller, and am thinking cardio...

Linda-- any advice on that?? I've been meaning to call or email you-- I want to hear everything about how you're doing!! Please come back and post. Please.


Everyone else-- thanks for listening I'll try to come back and post more personals later! Gotta get to the gym!

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. I am very close to mine and I will be devasted when she is gone.

Today eating is great and exercise is in check.
