Good morning!

Just a quick note - I've been on plan this week and am looking forward to Monday to see what the dreaded scale has to say.

I'm off work next week and am trying to plan things so I don't get bored - when I'm bored, I tend to eat the wrong things. I'm also filling the refrigerator with my favorite LC foods - steak, steak and more steak; lobster (it's a treat!); cream cheese; bacon, etc.

Here's what's on the menu for today:

Breakfast - 2 eggs fried in butter with a slice of provolone cheese, coffee with HWC and sweetner
Snack - if hungry - a piece of string cheese
Lunch - spinach chicken salad with a little onion, red peppers and celery
Dinner - turkey burger with broccolli
Snack - if hungry - SF jello with a splash of HWC

I hope everyone has a great day!

Mary-good job on the water! That is always a struggle for me.

Hi guys, just popping in to say hi. P90X takes a LOT of my time. Today was 90 minutes of Yoga X. The X stands for eXtreme and trust me it is. My eating could be better, much better but doing the exercise atleast keeps me from bingeing. I'm trying to keep a balance with all this but it's tough. My biggest thing I'm tackling right now is to put God first and get more disciplined about my morning devotion time. If I can devote this much time to P90X, I can certainly set aside some time to meet with God every morning. Sorry I've not been here much but I'm glad you guys are supporting each other.

Oh...Marilee. hope you have a wonderful week off....You deserve it...

Linda...trying to add to my devotional time too...God has been so good to us and we do get so busy sometimes until we really need him...so Mary is trying to just take more time to be in his word and praise him.....

Hope everyone has a nice Valentines weekend...

Goodmorning....Just off to work....I notice now that each day I look at the signs over the students dishes being served where it has the cal. and carb count on each picture...Wow...that helps me to know that I am glad I bring my lunch....lol...after seeing it written down each day I learn just how much just one slice of pizza is or that mac/cheese, etc.... My coworkers are use to me bringing my lunch now so that is nice...they always want to know what I have in my bag...lol...Yesterday it was slice of porkroast and summer squash with butter and cheese....Today I have roast beef and broccoli with hot cheese sauce...I found out it helps me to do my own thing...I see all that starch everywhere and it makes me really thing again about how I like my new plan of eating....Yesterday they had chicken with orange sauce and the chicken pieces I have to say look very nice and smelled wonderful when it came out of the oven before the sauce was poured on but I just looked at it and thought NO...and it passed...it sure wasnt because I didnt want it but I know that I am not able to have that anymore....I just started getting into some of my clothes I had put away and I feel wonderful again...I have a long road to travel but I am determined to go all the way....Everyone have a wonderful day....Miss yall.....

Not sure where everyone is... but it sure has gotten quiet in here!

I'm doing alright. Not down a ton of weight but working out a lot, in ketosis, and I FEEL slimmer... which is what matters, right?

Hi everyone,
Vicki, you're going to be waiting a long time for before and after pics of P90X. I'm about half way through but this is only round 1. I plan to continue. I'm doing great with the exercise except for today. Today was the first day I've missed a scheduled workout and it was due to a binge, not good. I'm just back to grazing and not losing and today just fell off completely. I've contacted a Beachbody coach (P90X is a Beachbody workout) to check into free coaching with Barbie. Check out her amazing transformation in this youtube video. It's inspiring.
Get Fit With Barbie
I miss all of you and will try to get here more often.

Hi everyone...I'm here. I took a vacation from the computer, too!

Well, at the risk of making a bunch of enemies I have decided to stop the LC WOE. The bottom line is - I can't stay on it. I am going to go back to NutriSystem - I got a great deal on it and I can have every food group. I miss fruit, I miss bread, I miss pasta, I miss poatoes and I hate binging on it because I can't have it.

So, I wish everyone well. If you'll let me, I'll stop by now and then and see how everyone is doing.

Love you all

I would do shakes but NOT BARS!!!!! Full of hidden junk and not LC at all!!! The EAS low carb shakes are pretty good, especially chocolate. Atkins shakes are always pretty yummy, too, but with their changes I'm not sure if the carb count has increased.

If you want to do shakes, those premade ones such as Atkins and EAS may get a bit pricey besides they don't have much protein in them. I prefer purchasing whey protein powder and mix my own with water or soy/almond milk. More protein that way.
