Oh, thank you! I just got back from running .9 miles. I know I know. It was outside!! I swear it is soooooooooooo different then running on a treadmill, guys

I went so far thinking it was at least 2 miles. Hell No. I got in my car and redid what I ran. .9

I feel great though! Know what is a real motivator? When I pass by big fat people sitting on their stoops smoking.

I use to be one of those.

I absolutely hate the treadmill...it's so much better outside...I def sweat more and burn more outdoors!

Yeah, I already did. My goal for this challenge is to be well into Onederland - around 190, less would be better but may be too much to shoot for, being a hypothyroid with several metabolic issues, I lose very s-l-o-w-l-y. But as long as I'm losing, that is the important part!

Do you like to exercise?
Once I get into the habit I love it and benefit so much from the stress release, extra energy, better sleep, etc...............it's just getting into the habit and staying there! lol

Is this your first time losing or your 59th?
I've lost count...........each time I do LC I lose about 45-50 lbs and then lose my mojo; not this time I will make it to goal and maintain.

What's your goal for this 8 week challenge?
•To stay on plan/no cheats
•Exercise regularly - 3x a week
•Take care of myself (single mom, 2 boys, work FT, started back to college;sometimes I forget to that I need to do special things for myself)

What are you going to do to ensure you reach this goal!?!?

•Try to manage my stress level.
•I'm going to try journaling, not only what I eating but how I feel
•Vist thread daily for support/motivation and just to chat with my new friends!!!

Oh Yeah!

I'm right on track for Day 2. Was down almost a pound this morning. Had my morning shake for breakfast and grilled chicken with a little salsa for lunch. It was yummy! Already did my WATP workout but I'm hoping to do more exercise before the day ends.

I'm looking for my partner....How are you doing Jamie?

Well my gym was open today! So I went and did my weight training and 16 min of intervals on the bike. All the treadmills were occupied. I don't really like the treadmill but yesterday I got soaked outside.

Marie, I like your siggy as well. Its a hoot. Good on you running past those people on the stoop.

Breakfast before the gym was an egg bake thingy. Basically eggs, spinach, bacon, a little red pepper and some cream. Throw it in the oven and forget about it for a while til its cooked. I usually do a pan of it so I have enough for 2 or 3 meals.

Okay, I'm not sure what it is I'm supposed to be doing exactly here......listing all the food I eat and the exercise I do? On an every day basis or what? I'm not sure. I'm reading all this and then I drift off.

I did get on the scale today and lost 5 lbs. And I know it's because I've stayed right on plan. I've also eaten probably three heads of cauliflower, a head of broccoli and a ton of brussel sprouts in the last 5 days, a ton of turkey with green onions, a smear of cranberry sauce on top, and then mozzerella cheese melted over the top. I've had cheese and Claussen pickles for snacks and a butt load of pepperoni....let me rephrase that, a LOT of pepperoni, and I think I ate half a bag of pork rinds last night. And I had two chocolate kisses because they were there and I wanted something sweet and I would have killed to get them.

Hey MagicsMom...... I am TRYING to combine Atkins with portion control. I know that I need to give myself portion control, otherwise I'd be eating all the time with no rhyme or reason. And isn't that the problem to begin with? I know it is for me, because if there was a 'shut off' valve, I wouldn't be here. I'd be rollerblading or some other such thing that I'd never do. Well I wouldn't do that on a thin day but criminy, how would I know? It's been so long since I've had a thin day that I'm a half a life time away from knowing how I would have been ...........anyway......yeah, me too.
