Lorrie ~ Gosh, gf, you are doing some wonderful workouts! You're up to 2 miles, now! You're rockin' and rollin' missy! I think I need to increase my cardio because my weight is at a standstill. The scale hasn't moved as much as it should...1 stinkin' pound gone...that's it for this week...and I've been doing everything right this week! Oh well...back to the drawing board! Thanks for the BIRTHDAY well wish!

Lisa ~ Well, looks like you have some crochet and knitting projects scheduled now, huh? Take pics and let us see what you're doing, too. Also, CONGRATS on your weight loss! Oh, what does "pp" mean?

Even though it was my birthday on Friday, I managed to stay on plan....but $#%%$# it was hard as hell....I wanted a piece of cake so desperately, and that's exactly why I chose to not have any...because losing weight is sweeter than cake! I know I'll be at goal before my next bday, so I'll have cake then. I surprised myself and decided to put the "w" into "willpower." Sometimes, I actually surprise myself and do amazing things...not often, but this time, I had to pat myself on the back because I'm not the one to resist anything...I'm usually the first one to give in to any temptation...maybe I'm finally getting serious about truly changing my life.

Good Morning to All! I'm up early this Saturday morning, planning to spend the day catching up on my "reading for fun". I was down another couple of pounds this morning. I am so happy I didn't give up when I had that two week period when it was hard to stay on track and I was gaining instead of losing. I kept searching for the right formula for me and I have this challenge to thank for that. I was determined not to drop out completely because I knew that wouldn't help me get to goal at all. Now that I'm sticking to my plan I'm headed in the right direction again. Thanks Everybody!

Well I am totally pissed this morning. I stayed on plan during TOM, exercised and all. I only lost 2.5 pounds. I think I am going to go back to Carb Addict. I lost weight at a faster pace and I got to enjoy myself daily. I am debating on what way I am going to go, but the way I feel right now it sounds like CAD. Talk to you soon.

Wow! Where's everyone? I guess a lot of people have dropped out of this challenge. The thread definitely doesn't move as fast. So, a big CONGRATS to all the challengers that are still in the game...woohoo...we have a lot to be proud of...we're still hanging in here and tryng to lose and get fitter. Those that haven't posted in a while, I hope find their way back to us because we're such a supportive group.

Hey, Lorrie and Lisa! How's it shakin' ladies? I hope both of you have a fabulous OP week! Let's try to lose at least 2 lbs this week. That's my challenge to both of you and myself as well. Do you think this is a good challenge for us? Let me know. Maybe we can add another challenge in for us...like taking the stairs all this week...that's if the stairs are an option...as opposed to the elevator or escalator. Tell me your thoughts and we'll decide on something.

Sunny! I'm still here, just had a busy weekend and not much time to myself. I'm still OP and took some time off from exercise, but I'm back at it today I would LOVE to lose 2 pounds this week...it'll be a real stretch, cuz I am lucky to lose 1 pound/week at this point, but I'll give it my best I live in a three story townhome so stairs are part of my daily life...no choice

Hey everyone. We survived the storm---Yeah! Still really cold here. I will be traveling the end of the week and the weekend.....I am thinking about taking my food with me so there will be no hard choices What are some good meals that travel well?

I'm still here too! 2 pounds this week sounds like a good idea! I was a bad girl yesterday and had a few glasses of white wine..paying for it today..the scale was up one and my head hurts to much to think about it.

I have some pretty serious stairs at m home also..so I guess I'll put them to work after my 2 mile speed walk. Just thinking about it makes my butt hurt..lol

Glad to see your both doing well. Keep up the good work ladies

Hello Ladies! I'm still here and still on plan. Eating right and working out everyday. I've been doing 4-5 miles a day with WATP and even got up to the jogging DVD. I feel great.

Cle--I picked up my yarn today. I can't wait to get started on my scarf.

I keep checking to see if anyone is still around myself...I love this thread..this along with my COLA sister's have kept me strong and 'moving' for all of January..Please dont say its over I still have a long way to go!....Did everyone get so skinny that they cant say hello and share their days with us anymore? Sounds like we will both be hating TOM...while we are doing stairs together..Damn we are dedicated..! He arrived this morning (5 days EARLY)..so I did my last weigh in thismorning..still 191.5...not going near that fricken scale for the next 4-5 days..Dont want to freakmyself out. I'm going to stick to paln and move..and yes..do some stair. Although I know I wont ace this one as easy as the water challendge.

Hello all,
Well the last time I wrote I said I was thinking about changing diets because after staying true for this month only have lost between 16 and 18 is skind of frustrating. Especially when those 16 were lost in the first two weeks and now nothing. TOM is gone and I have been on plan but the scale is going up or not moving at all. My hubby was able to convince me to stick to it because he has noticed changes. That helped and I do look better in my clothes even though I f-ing hate that scale. So I am going to tough it out and if nothing happens by Friday the weigh in day at work I think I will move to CAD because if I am going to lose weight slowly I may as well enjoy it like I did with CAD. The board has gotten slow but only the strong survive and that obviously is us. Can't wait to see biggest loser. I think i will do my stair climber thing while it is on if steps is the challenge this week. Stay strong girlies and I will do the same.

Lisa..did you hear that?..no stairs with TOM. I hope Sunny see's this and isent doing to many stairs since it is not a challenge week. (or was that a COLA challendge? if so maybe Sunny will be easy on us considering Tom is visiting us and stairs are a *^$@@...even without TOM)

:blush: Thanks Lorrie! As you heard me mention on another thread, my walking/jogging days are over for awhile...gotta rest my injured calf I will continue to work on arms & abs in the meantime. I'll NEVER quit I def worked up to being able to WO this much...when I first started I could barely do 10 minutes on my treadmill without feeling like I'd collapse You're doing great!!! Oh and Sunny challenged us to do stairs...no bonus this week

Yes the challenge has slowed but that is ok! Hello to all that are still here. I just finished my biggest loser workout upper body and lower body tone up after to 1.5 miles run and walk on the treadmill. I feel like rubber. But I feel like darn it, it better show up tomorrow. I have been slightly overwhelmed with all of my duties with this practicum for curriculum and instruction. I have raised my hand to lead and participate on one too many committees all in effort to get my 360 hours of leadership. So I am using the treadmill to relieve stress. I don't think it has worked yet because my eye is still twitching lol. Well I hope everyone keeps it up and stays strong even with the other wandering off. Where is chantyl? I know she hasn't dropped. Ever since I asked why she didn't like her boss I haven't seen her. Anyway, keep it up girlies. I am determined to beat that horrible scale.
