This Week's Bonus Challenge

Ladies, Ladies, Ladies... I'm hearing a bunch of excuses and the point are not impressive. What is up?!? Get your crap together. Do i need to make a list of folks who are full of crap. I sure hope not. But i will if this week is as pitiful as the past few weeks.

This week it's time to FILL 'em UP!!!!! Are you getting enough water. Staying hydrated is so important ESP when you're exercising regularly (which we all should be). So, you will recieve 1 bonus point for every 200 oz of water that you drink this week.

NO, crystal light won't count
No, coffee won't count
No, diet soda won't count
etc etc etc

I'm giving you a lighter challenge this week, but KNOW that this is only so everyone can get into their routine before we ramp things up for the second half of this challenge.

Work it out ladies. No excuses!

OOOh I am all over this challenge...I don't drink near enough water. Here is some info on WHY you should drink plain water that I hope may be helpful to my fellow challengers

Now water, that's a challenge I'm all over! No problem! I didn't know that we were going to be required to do strenuous exercise to earn extra points. I was fully ready to commit to my regular workout routine and be faithful to it, but I've been sick this week (take that as an excuse if you will, but it is what it is). In fact, I'm still down to do my regular workouts, but I'm not young like you all are and there's no way I can do biggest loser type workouts.

Hello all!
Well it seems like I am not the only scale addict in here. Well I am happy to be with like minds as crazy as we are. I too let the scale determine my mood and outfit and sometimes how hard I exercise and stay on plan. But I am going full force. I can definitely do this challenge. I already drink 100 oz of water I wonder if I could do 150 a day or will I have water intoxication. lol. So today was the first weighin at my job for the biggest loser. With clothes on I came in third place with 4.2% of weight gone. The girl who came in first thing week is already small but she spent two says in the hospital on ivs this week. No fair. lol. Anyway, my friends decided that we are going to work out every Friday and some other day during the weekend. It is supposed to be nice this weekend...nice is 40 or 50 degrees. I might want to ride my bike on a trail. But I will talk to you ladies later I'm going to work on my power point for tomorrow and watch the Hope for Haiti Now program.

Hey, Lisa and Lorrie! How was your day? I think I'm drowning in water right now...water never tasted so good! Lisa and Lorrie, look at my siggie...I added both of you to it. Whaddaya think, buddies? We have got to continue to rock this challenge, right!

Everytime I move, I feel my poor stomach muscles...I wish I could ice them...oh well, that means I need to start doing more crunches...daily!

Why do I always feel like I'm fighting my body? I want it to do so much more, but anytime I want it to move and get in even better shape, there's always this tug-of-war...mind over matter scenario. Why can't my body just do what I want it to do without complaining? Once I reach the level of fitness where I don't have to hear it whine so much, then, life will be grand...but will my body ever get to that point?


my brain even came up with a poem to describe my pain...

move body
move through sand and mud
through fire and ice
over hills and mountains
stop groaning and complaining when I push you
it's for your own good
why can't you see that and stop fighting me?

Nope you didn't...honestly only you know whether you are doing everything you can and pushing yourself hard enough.
