Tried a new dish tonight----YUMMY!
It's called ZOODLES. You saute mushrooms in garlic and butter. To that add 1/4C. Heavy cream and 1/4C. Parmesan cheese let that bubble and thicken a tad. Take 3 med. size zucchini and juliane them. Throw them into the skillet with the rest of the mixture and let cook till zucchini is tender. Roughly 20 minutes. So good!
Thanks for all the recipes, KEEP THEM COMING! It helps so much
Have a great week!
Jamie
Hi Partner! Hope you had a great weekend. This recipe sounds good. I'm not a big fan of zucchini but this sounds delicious. How was the recognition ceremony for your daughter?

A big hello to Everyone here at CTC! Wishing you a fabulous week.

Jamie, that dish sounds delish. I happen to have those things in the fridge so I think that will be dinner tomorrow.

Well no exercise for me today unless you count taking down a huge Christmas tree and putting it and all the decorations in a crawl space. Lol. My poor Mama has been sick for two weeks and just didn't have the energy to do it.

At least I ate on plan.

Hey guys sorry i haven't been around so far i have lost 9lbs. I havent been exercising because i am having some "female" problems which are pretty painful. I am going to the doctors beginning of Feb for it. I would go sooner but i am getting my wisdom teeth out the 22nd so i won't be going out for a while.I went to Genghis Grill for the first time today and it was awesome. A great low carb eat! It def hits the chinese food craving.

Good morning ladies!

I weighed today and am the same as last week 272 but am in the middle of changing my plan to WW. I know low carb works but for some reason I have difficulty staying on plan, so I thought after 10 years of on and off LC, it is time to change it up. My supervisor started WW a few weeks ago and seems to be doing good with it.

Cle - I know you did/do WW in the past, did you incorporate LC in it? What made you switch to LC?

Just waving good morning to mark my spot today. I have been eating on plan but did not exercise yesterday. Gotta get my butt in gear today to earn my second point of the week. The weeks are flying by fast.

Hi Terry and Chantyl! You chicas being good?
Yes ma'am! I'm a bit under the weather. Not sick, but not well either. I've been tending to my next door neighbors' cats all weekend while they've been away. I feel so sorry for those cats. They're very, very lonely, but it's not me they want. I'm glad for their sake my neighbors are coming home today.

Fonda that's the story of my life!!! When I did it I did ww core, with that you can decide to lower the carbs a little but not that much...you just eat more whole grains with more fiber and more and more veggies....I'm going to post the plan for core that I used. Let me go look for it...WW has momentum now...

Here's the list...it tells you everything you can have! You eat as much as you need to fill you but you're not supposed to over do it!
Brown rice, potatoes, ground beef is limited to once a day...

Good morning all! Well I am down...I think. For some reason my bathroom scale hardly shows any movement but my wii scale has me down 1.8. I can't figure out what is wrong with my bathroom scale but I am going with my wii lol. Has anyone ever used aloe Vera in liquid form as an aid to weight loss? I started using some last night. I can't tell if it was my run or the aloe vera that gave the 1.8 pound lost. But it had to be something because I had salmon with a sweet honey teriyaki sauce. anyhoo, I tried ww coreplan and enjoyed the fact that I could have fruit and fruit juice at any time. Why do you think that LC isn't working for you? What do you eat?
I plan on running again today! That will be two miles. Why didn't I do this last week when that was the challenge? lol. I got my crunches in last night too! I hope to get in my cardio kick boxing as well. I relaly want to run out and get Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I am debating. Talk to you soon!

Chinese food is my absolute favorite. I was thinking of making some form of shrimp and brocolli today. What did you have that was low carb. I really want to know. That way I can have something that is chinese tasting without the guilt. I can usually eat Szechuan chicken, shrimp and beef and just leave some of the high carb veggies on the side.

I would choose one or the other to use, as long as it shows a downward trend, regardless of the weight, you know you are losing and doing something correct. Using both will just be a source od frustration. In my experience, no two scales have ever weighed the same.

Sweetpoison, I like the quote in your siggie line. I can think of a few people that have passed through my life that thought would apply to

Lastly, for all you cheese lovers, if you haven't already tried fried Queso Asadero, do yourself a favor go buy some. I had it today - so good, killed my cheesestick craving.

Genghis grill is like a chinese stirfry. They have a bar where you pick your protein then your sauce (all pretty good carb counts) & veggies. They cook it on a mongolian girll and it is so good!

Isn't it better to be happier on the journey than struggling all the time. As long as you are losing weight. Its not a race but a journey. Well that's my opinion anyway.
