Wow, killer challenge. I do about 8 crunches in a minute, so 200? Sheesh. That's a half hour of non stop crunching.

I was at core class for an hour this morning. I lost track of my crunches there, but we do different variations, usually in twelves, so if I think a little I can figure it out

It is a spectacular day here - after a week of mostly monsoon the sun is shining. I think I'll take a long walk this afternoon.

Now I'm off to unload a few groceries.

Afternoon All!!

Cle, Happyone congrats on your weight loss! I am happy for both of you!

I have a very busy day today...school...ugh! Got my workout in this morning so I am cool...I just have to get my crunches in later and I will be all set!

Hamburger Pie (Whooshie Pie)

2lbs of ground beef(lean)
1- 8oz package of cream cheese
2 tsp yellow mustard
2 tsp horseraddish
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
dehydrated onions to taste


Split hamburger into 2 large patties.
Season with salt and pepper, place 1st patty in round pan,
mix remaining ingredients and put over patty,
then top with 2nd patty and seal edges by pinching together.
Season top patty. bake 350 55 min

I didn't end up making this because when I got home I changed my mind and made the White Castle Hamburger pie. It was delicious. I made that at about 11 and still haven't eaten again and its 3 p.m. Not even hungry one bit.

Hey Rachel, don't cha just love the sun today! Its better than the down pour yesterday. I just got back from an hour walk at a lake. Beautiful beautiful day.

Everyone is doing so well. It has got to be the mantra of SUADI!
I hate the treadmill. I know I shouldn't say that but I don't like walking or running and going nowhere. lol. But my brother in law said that if I walk and run for 10 to 15 minutes every other day I will drop a lot of weight because it will speed up my metabolism. I am going to try it because after my induction period weight loss, my body slows tremendously. I will have to sweat yuck. lol. So I am giving this two weeks. That is the next time I am going to my sisters house. Hopefully it will help me win that 320 bucks. 's how much the biggest loser gets at my job. There is nothing like money to motivate me. lol

Good morning everyone.

So what is everyone doing today? Crunches and eating on plan? Lol. I haven't even tried to do the crunches. I think I may attempt it today. Crunches are not my friend.

So if you ladies have not tried the jalapeno poppers you must try them. They are delicious! Even my man liked them. I should have bought more than 5 peppers though. I didn't think I would end up sharing them.

It looks like it might not rain again today so I am going to try and get some more vitamin D after the morning football game.

No crunches for me today - I'm still suffering the effects of core class yesterday.
I went to hockey this morning, so that's my workout! I may get out for a walk this afternoon if the weather holds.
I'm about ready to throw my scale out the window but I'm doing everything else right, so I'll just keep swearing at it and hope it smartens up!!

Did I say that I love this board? Oh I did. Well let me say it again. I can't express how much of a support you ladies have been. Whenever I think about cheating (like today, because the scale is back to ignoring my efforts again) I think about what I would have to say on this board. Thank you ladies. So I finally figured out why I don't like running on the treadmill. I have been going too fast. I would walk for two minutes at 3.9 or 4.0 and then run for a minute at 6.0. I would be dying. So today I did a run at 4.5 and I was able to run much longer than I set my goal for. And i actually liked it and was a sweaty pig afterwards. I can definitely see myself doing this every other day or more.
Oh I am trying that whooshie pie tomorrow. I hope it turns out well.

Happyone81 seems we have the same affliction, an aversion to exercise, but we're not going to let that deter us! Last week was my first week exercising in MONTHS, boy did my body feel battered and bruised. LOL Your brother-in-law is correct
about exercise. I have to keep reminding myself of the same when I am feeling lazy, which is always.

I found an eleven week schedule that is supposed to get me jogging 30 mins without stopping by the end of week eleven. I can't even imagine being able to do so. That will be such an accomplishment for me.

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful and controlled weekend... LOL..
Tried a new dish tonight----YUMMY!
It's called ZOODLES. You saute mushrooms in garlic and butter. To that add 1/4C. Heavy cream and 1/4C. Parmesan cheese let that bubble and thicken a tad. Take 3 med. size zucchini and juliane them. Throw them into the skillet with the rest of the mixture and let cook till zucchini is tender. Roughly 20 minutes. So good!
