Weigh in day has come and I am pumped! I am down 8 pounds total so 8pts for me, shamefully didn't exercise near enough, so no points for me in the fat burning dept! Sorry Diane!
I hope you enjoy your day off, too much snow around here but I'm still in school teachin' the junior highers.....
I am excited because my waist is down 1 inch, woo hoo, yep yep....
Diane you did so well, way to go partner', some powerful mojo is happening here. Did you realize that between the two of us we are smaller by a whole size????? OMG, how real is that? Calculating POINTS

How to Calculate Your Points

There seems to be some confusion about how points are calculated. You can collect 1 point for everyday that you ate on plan. That makes a maximum of 7 points from eating on plan. You can also collect one point for everyday you exercise (as long as you worked out at least 3 days that week). So here are some examples:

Ex 1: Jane ate on plan 7 days this week but worked out only twice. She receives:
OP: 7
Exercise: 0
Total: 7

Ex 2: Joe ate on plan 5 days this week and worked out 4 days. He receives:
OP: 5
Exer: 4
Total: 9

A perfect week for me is 13 because I take a rest day. I walk on my rest day, but don't count it as challenge exercise.

Bonus Challenge: Cardio Miles

This Week Only (Fri Jan 8-Thur Jan 14) you may collect bonus points for cardio MILES! So those of you who walk, cycle, spin, run, row, jog, etc have a bit of an advantage this week.
But don't fret if you don't do these things, there will be other opportunities:

For every 3 miles of cardio completed this week, you will receive 1 bonus point.

Ex:
complete 10 miles of cardio, collect 3 bonus points.
Complete 2 miles, collect 0 bonus points
Complete 4 miles, collect 1 bonus point.

PS: This is in ADDITION to your regular weekly points for eating on plan and exercise.

Lets look at a few more examples:

If Tammy Eats on plan everyday and exercises everyday. She gets 14 points.
If she ran 6 miles as a part of her workouts this week, she will get:
op: 7
Ex: 7
Bonus: 2
Total: 16

If Jackie eats on plan everday and exercises twice, she Gets 7 points.
If she ran 9 miles in those two workouts, she will get:
OP: 7
Ex: 0
Bonus: 3
Total: 10


You do NOT have to participate in bonus challenges. But then you won't win LOL
