One thing to remember with allergies...just because you have never been anaphylaxic before does not mean that the next bite of allergen will not make you....you could have eaten wheat and only had swelling/itching/rash ect and the next time you eat it can close your throat....Please get your regular doc to at least write you an epi pen until you can get to the allergist and carry it with you everywhere you go...trust me on this...never know when something will be snuck into your food in a place you would least expect it. I would bet you come back with allergies.....Good lucky honey. It is really hard to live with allergies.....If I can help you in any way let me know!

Again I am not a doctor...this is just things I have learned from the journey with my girls....

I am doing a food diary as well. Hopefully that helps me out too. I hope your kids grow out of their allergies i hate mine!

I'm sorry about your wrists! I used to work ten key and it really screwed mine up too. I have a reoccuring ganglion cyst and couldn't put weight on my wrists for a while. When doing yoga my instructor told me to either use a exercise ball or do them on my tummy. Hang in there it will get better!

Where are you from?
Pittsburgh , Pa

Do you like to exercise?
I absolutely do not like to exercise. I am pretty lazy. I would rather watch TV. PLus my hair gets on my nerves when it gets sweaty and it takes more time to get it together. I have all of the tools needed to exercise here at home ( treadmill, stairclimber, wii fit, weight room) but I just really don't like to exercise unless I can walk outside, but now its too cold...oh the excuses can go on forever. I just have to do it and not stop.

Is this your first time losing or your 59th?
Well, this is my maybe 10th time losing. I first did Atkins in college in 2001 and I did really well without having the book or understanding completely what I was supposed to do. I went from 175 to 143 and was very happy then I got preggo and ballooned to 213 and went down to 133 for my wedding then got preggo and blew up to 247 and then I lost and then I gained and then I lost and then I gained. I tried Carb Addicts Diet but the results are too slow and it is so easy to let that hour turn into a month. lol . So I want to get the weight off before I hit 30 because I am seeing what my mom always told me about how it would become harder for me to lose weight the older I got.

What's your goal for this 8 week challenge?
•Well I just bought half a new wardrobe and can only fit one piece so I would like to be able to fit 3 outfits
•Be more active in general by exercising more than three times a week and running around with my 6 and 1 year old
* Lose 25 pounds

What are you going to do to ensure you reach this goal!?!?

•Go back to meditating daily
•Make a conscious decision to stay on plan no matter what
•Exercise more than three times a week
*Take pictures of my progress and try on the outfits every other week

That's the one I use.

Do you like to exercise?
I actually do love to exercise, but find myself too busy and tired to do it. Excuse I know, but everything tires you out when you are over 300 lbs.You would think that would be more motivation, but its alot more complicated than that.

Is this your first time losing or your 59th?
I have lost count, but its been quite a few.

What's your goal for this 8 week challenge?
•Well I just bought half a new wardrobe and can only fit one piece so I would like to be able to fit 3 outfits
•Be more active in general by exercising more than three times a week and running around with my 6 and 1 year old
* Lose 25 pounds

What are you going to do to ensure you reach this goal!?!?

•Make this a wol, not a temporary fix.
•Stop making excuses and get healthier.
•Exercise will become the priority. I feel WAY better when I do it.
*Eat right and get it right this time.

Hello everyone,

Today was a hard day.I have been training for a half marathon and I got up So ready to run with the team but my car would not start....I was so upset because I wanted to cut off a minute on my mile.I was so determined and I was about to get on the bus.I went into the house to figure it out and I got a message from the team that the run was canceled due to below ZERO temps.....Instead of making excuses,I took myself to the local park and used their gym....so my hard morning turned into another day of ..NO EXCUSES....

Hi LISa...,I'm sorry that I did not check in sooner but the original post did not mention partners so I had no idea that you were sending me messages in this thread. The original post mentioned checking in on Fridays to show our points.I will not feel bad if you change partners..that may be what's best for you.Good luck everyone!

My points so far...3 and 3....

Good Morning All!

Hello! I pounced on the scale this morning and weighed in 7 POUNDS LIGHTER BABY!!!!! I was thrilled and ready for the morning. Schools delayed 2 hours, woo hoo--- 2 more hours to get my eating plan on track for the day(the kids really push my buttons sometimes....LOL...)
Made "mashed potatoes" this weekend. Took a head of cauliflower and steamed to mush then threw it into my blender and added 4oz of cream cheese with 2 TB. butter. Blend it till it's creamy, yumalicious!! Even my kids didn't notice or minded.
*Glad to hear from you Diane, let's go woohoo.

Good morning! Rainy day here. I'm going to do meat and eggs for a few days to jump start me into ketosis. Need to lay off high-sodium deli meat. (Of course I would say that the day after I fried up a pound of bacon ) Well the gym peeps are finally back to work today, and that means working out for me after work tonight.

So far today, only coffee w/HWC. Lunch, probably a can of tuna. Dinner, IDK. I need to go to the store.

What's your name?
Kim

Where are you from?
Born in Alabama, Raised in California, Now in St. Louis (13yrs)

Do you like to exercise?
I used to. I currently have a back problem and am on meds. I can walk though and plan to start doing that again. The last year I have been completely sedentary

Is this your first time losing or your 59th?
The first time I lost 66lbs and kept it off for 3 yrs. This is my 3rd serious attempt, although I have attempted to restart many times in between.

What's your goal for this 8 week challenge?
* Lose at least 15 lbs.
* Get moving again 3-5x a week. Even if I have to take all 7 of my kids with me. They are generally the excuse I make for not having the time. My back injury is is the other. I CAN walk, and walking works!
* No more excuses, None! I have some bad LC habits to break... starting now. Today! It has to become a way of life...
* Be accountable to someone

What are you going to do to ensure you reach this goal!?!?
* Stay on program. Use ******. If I slip up, I will NOT let 1 meal turn into the next 10. I have to do this for myself because nobody else can do it for me. I am worth it.
* Use my family YMCA membership. Take the kids with if I have to.
* Post here everyday for accountability.
