just get it together lucy.

don't let candy of all things derail your progress.

what do you want to be at the end of the day: full of crap or someone who has finally cut the crap.

decision is totally up to you.

PS you've got tons of options: veggies w dips, pork rinds (if ur into that) even coconut bark if you want chocolate. hershey's kisses on the other hand are NOT an option.

Awww I feel ya Luce! I drink chocolate protein shakes to help with my chocolate cravings. I CANNOT eat the yummy chocolate cheesecakes or LC peanut butter cups, cuz I will binge on them Hope you figure out something that will work for YOU!

Eats so far today:

B: coffee w/HWC
L: hot wings with blue cheese dressing
S: few slices of dried beef

Dinner will be chicken breast and brussels sprouts. Been drinking lots of water because I have a UTI.

Somebody said "meatload" up there. I know it was just a typo but it struck me funny.

OKAYYYYYYYYYYY on the chocolate kisses. There's none around and I won't get any. I don't want to be full of crap. I'll have to check out the coconut bark.

In the meantime before we hang me.... I had a lovely Mexican lunch out. Carnitas on a bed of lettuce with a couple of tablespoons of sour cream and guacomole and unsweetened iced tea. I had to bring some home in a box but that will be dinner probably or lunch for tomorrow. It was yum and totally satisfied my craving for anything. I've got broccoli standing at the ready though, just in case.

Good evening ladies. I hit the gym today for just under an hour and a half. It wasn't nearly as busy as I thought it would be. I usually avoid the gym in January, but maybe I won't this year.

Food and water on track. I'm having trouble getting enough calories in I think. I'm ok today though, as I forced myself to eat after my workout. I love that about low carb.

Tomorrow I'm cooking a turkey that is far too big for us. Some friends gave it to us - 19 pounds! Good grief. I invited dh's best friend over for dinner, but I still need another half dozen guests, LOL. I told dh to prepare to eat a lot of turkey and not b-tch about it I'd better start digging up turkey recipes...

Haven't seen my partner today.... Lyn I hope you're behaving!!

Rachel

While it's still warm rip big chunks of the turkey off the bone and get it into the freezer. You'll love it when you know that you didn't waste it and it's in there, carb free, just waiting to be chopped up for turkey salad, or whatever.

That's what I do with mine anyway. I got tired of wasting huge parts of it after the initial feast.

That's always the challenge. It only comes off the bone really well when it's warm. After it's in the fridge, it's kinda gross. This year I just reheated it the next day so that all that jelly crap was melted and just pulled it off the bone and got it in zip lock bags before it grossed me out. That way I can make turkey fettucine or tettrazini or something for my family and still have turkey for myself and I am not wasting it. I've long since given up any notion of boiling the carcass and making soup - that never happens and it is just too much work.

Hi Soon To Be Skinnys!

I am so sore to day from running ~ not sure if it is due to running on cement or not running in over a month. But my neck and shoulders and arms. And legs!

It is a good kinda hurt though. Not the kind I will offer to Chantyl and Terry if they go off plan and not work.out. Misery loves company.

I am up at 4:30 as I have so many month end reports to do and I am TOO SORE to stay in bed!

I will have eggs and sausage in my tortialla for breakfast and that is as far as this girls' gotten as far as meals today.

Luce ~ you better watch those choc kisses, woman!

Rachel ~ send me that turkey skin! Please.

ps: I had a choc chip cookie with M&Ms on it last night. It was so freakin good ~ but i felt kinda SICK an hour later. I never really cheat so that was quite a shock.

ps. don't tell terry and C.

Did you see that Chantillian? She thought she could hide it with small print! Step AWAY from the chocolate chip cookies!

Yesterday was totally on plan for me! I did, however, wake up with an earworm. For some reason that Christmas Shoes song got started up in my brain while I was sleeping. I don't even like that song!

I saw that Marie. No hiding it even if its in small print. Here is some tough love: serves you right for getting sick eating that crap! Lol.

I just got home from my fast 50 min walk. At least it wasn't raining today. Now I have no idea what to do for the rest of the day. I usually stay home and watch football but I have sitting around at home for two days now and I am getting cabin fever. I must be crazy missing work.

What's your name? Tiffany

Where are you from? Here and there - born in S. California, did some growing up in Louisiana/Mississippi, ended up here in the Phoenix area in 1981 and except for a 2 brief sojourns out of state, this is where I've been.

Do you like to exercise? Heck NO - sometimes I barely like to move. Back when I had TV I would watch a crappy program if the remote couldn't be found and the only option was to get up and have to change the channel. I will also drive across the street to the coffee place instead of walk.

Is this your first time losing or your 59th?
I've been doing this all my life ... hopefully this will be my last time! The last time I was successful I lost 98 pounds in about 2 years and managed to gain 60 of it back because, hey, newsflash, if you don't keep doing what's working for you and go back to old habits, then those pounds *will* find you again!

What's your goal for this 8 week challenge? To get my mojo back, as far as being in the proper frame of mind to lose weight.

What are you going to do to ensure you reach this goal!?!? I've started walking a couple times a week (around the neighborhood, not to the TV!) and I will be starting twice weekly Pilates classes this week. Hooking back up with online support is another tool to help me reach my goal.
