Well, I'm not off to a very good start! I took my son out to Golden Corral last night because I knew I could eat on plan there, then proceeded to go right off plan! Not horribly off plan, but enough I guess.

I'll start today. Just noticed this challenge. I did great until our last Christmas celebration yesterday. Failed miserable but I'm right back up and running today.

I fell off the wagon during Christmas (not bad, but enough to feel guilty and get a carb hangover). The last couple of days I've eat LC and small. I'm down a pound this morning. The holidays are over - no more excuses!

I've lost weight before, and when I'm lighter, I feel great; I sleep and am able to get comfortable a lot easier before going to sleep. My breathing is better, my clothes look better on me, they are not so tight, and my knees feel better too. I'm thinking of all the positives, and there are so many of them when I'm lighter. Water and exercise will become my best friends, and eating veggies, fresh fish and seafood, a delicious cheeseburger and a T-bone steak is great eating!!! I will miss the potato rolls though ...

Ok Texastigerlily, will do -- for a long time now, I would get my bottle of water first thing in the morning, and then we would do a standoff all day, with the water winning most of the time. But after reading your challenge, I looked at that bottle and said "okay water, today, you're going down"!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Nannyhooch!

You will make 14lbs in no time if you are starting induction. You drop a lot of weight on induction!

Edited to add: I also drink water to thirst, but I do try to drink a half gallon a day. As long as I drink my coffee though I don't retain water no matter how little water I drink.

Just to let everyone know, I'm not in weight loss mode right now. I'm still enjoying my holidays and my lc treats, so I'm not focused on losing until after the weekend. So my weight will be the same next weigh in I'm sure Lol.
