Good Morning Little Ones,
I'm having computer problems...
Brennie, you're in good company. I was bad too! Today is a new day
Nancy, Congratulations on your race. You looked beautiful
Colleen, too funny about WW. You're so tiny. I bet you don't have an ounce of fat on you
Marisol, Spain? When? How long? You are lucky. I hope you can stay somewhere very pretty!
Rachel, did you hear from Carlos? I'm glad that you kept busy He will realize just how much he misses you.
My dad is home from the hospital. He has to go back, in a few weeks, to get the stones removed.
Have a nice day Little Bits

Good Morning I also did really poorly this weekend. I hydrated with zinfandel after the run, ate a ton of pizza and ate too much at dinner again last night. It is a new day and a new week and I will be back on plan!

Lynn, so glad your dad is at home. Will the stones be removed by regular surgery or will he have the shock wave treatment? Sorry about the computer problems. DD wrote an entire essay last night and her computer froze and she lost it. It was a little traumatic here too

Brennie, don't be too upset with yourself. A weekend off plan is nothing compared to how naughty we were for so long. We will get back on track and forgive ourselves. Today!

Colleen, LOL about WW. The best plan is one that you are willing to follow and it sounds like Atkins is it for you. Don't change!

Hi to Rachel and Solveig.

I wonder how many cups of coffee it will take to wake me up this morning????

Good morning!

It's a new start for a new week! I am ready to have a good day. I brought my workout clothes and will be going to the gym at lunch.

I've got to jump into my workload, but I'll be back!

Did you guys see the friend thing and the little messages you can leave on their "wall"? I don't think it is private like PMs. I accidently clicked on a name on the challenge page (I think it was the Lora that used to post here) and it brought me to this funny page. So, then I tried it on Nancy and found hers. You can add friends so I added you guys, maybe you all knew about this and I am just a dummy

I haven't played with it..I will!

I am soooooooooooo angry at a woman who has an agenda against DH (DH represented the other side in a suit against the building where we own rental property) and this woman purposefully tried to trip me up. I had words with her on the phone and I wish I could let it go!!!

It's true. It's amazing how that works! Quick story: DS had a physics teacher in 7th grade. The guy was a jerk. He had DS as lab partner with a psycho boy and put them in the back of the room. I begged him to move them to the front as I had heard this boy was the type to hurt small animals (really) and the teacher refused. One day this kid bullied DS into sharing his english homework assignment (DS was tiny then!!) and the teacher saw the homework with psycho boy, busted them both for cheating and grounded them from a dance and a field trip. Flash forward a few years and this guy is applying for a job at the school DD was attending at the time. I smiled at the man and went directly to the principal and told her the story. He did not get the job Karma...you make your bed.....

Good job!!

My menu today:
B: oatmeal
L: trader joe's eggwhite salad and sandwich thin
S: popcorn
D: chicken and small amount of rice pilaf, broccoli
S: WW ice cream bar

I need to get off the processed food thing.

If I don't have PMS then I am an extremely cranky and bloated person without cause

I am an emotional and bloated mess as well!

Easy day today with no meetings or drama
the rest of the week is fairly simple to deal with
next week is a killer...gala on sunday, luncheon on Tuesday, gala on Thursday, luncheon on Friday

Nancy that is a great story of mother assisted karma! LOL
I love it!

Stay strong today! All on plan!

OK, I am thinking I let some drama and craziness here get to me. I have been so far off track and am up a couple of pounds. My weigh in is tomorrow and I already am trying to make excuses to skip it but I should face the music and learn from this.

I am so upset with myself, start to feel like I was in control and slowly losing and then I screw it all up.

Today is a new day and I am going to follow the challenge she gave me last week, I know it is too late for my weigh in tomorrow but I need to get back on track.

I will be back with indies later...

Colleen, you are to be commended to have any control over your weight at all...that schedule that you have is so food-heavy!! I am sure it sounds lovely and glamorous to us, but all of that must get very routine. Is it fun sometimes???

Brennie, I don't know if what happened to me is what happened to you, but when I lose weight and the scale really moves down I slip up. I don't know why I do it nearly every time...but I do. I went up a little as well and am getting it back under control. I do understand about the emotional stuff getting to you! We will get beyond this and on track. Don't let anyone or thing defeat you!!!

Solveig, back at work today? How long will you be in Spain?

Rachel, gym today at lunch?? Nearly time to start writing!!!

I am waking up so tired these days. I think I need to get to bed earlier!!!!

Good Morning. The drive back yesterday wasn't bad as the weather cooperated. Just long. 400+ miles.

My scale dropped down to below 125, probably from not eating all that much I seem to do better with moderate amount of food instead of strict lowcarb

Brennie, perhaps you need to reevaluate your plan to see if it makes you feel deprived. For me, that always backfire. Hopefully the nutritionist will have some good suggestions. I think it's a good idea to go to the weigh in despite the scale being up. Isn't that what she is there for? To help?

Nancy, I laughed out loud at your comment on FB last night. So did my son

Colleen, enjoy your "calm" week.
Did you have to give a reason for canceling the WW membership? You would think they would appreciate feed back.

Rachel, I hope your ISP doesn't charge you for all the time you are without service. My son had DSL for a while but couldn't stand the service interruptions and changed to cable. He wanted satellite but the condo association wouldn't allow it.

Lynn, hope your computer is back in working condition soon. I have become so dependent on mine so I wouldn't know what to do without it I get annoyed when traveling internationally and they charge $$$ to connect. My broadband card doesn't work there either, of course.
I'll be in Spain for just 4 days. Bilbao in the northern part. I don't expect to get to see much but I love the food

My son's new kitten is the tiniest thing I've seen, for being 11 weeks old. Of course, she seems even smaller as I'm used to my fifteen pound "kittens." She is very playful and we bought some toys for her:

Good Morning, again!

Solveig, I do like the plan and would like to continue, I think I got confident and also let some stuff get to me and kinda had the "I don't care" attitude. Yes, she will help me and has offered to sit with me to help figure out a meal plan based on the numbers but I was going to skip out because I didn't want to face the music and pay the pot for gaining. I am going to go and face it and move forward!
I love cats and kittens are so fun! Your cats are beautiful!

Nancy, Thanks, I am letting things get to me and I need to stop. I just want to live in a nice world.
I have noticed that I am having a hard time getting up, I think I am sleeping plenty but I think it is the bad eating the last few days. Yesterday was better and today will be even better!

Colleen, wow, that is quite a schedule!

Rachel, Good Morning! I know you haven't mentioned it again but I hope things with Carlos are better and that you two were able to come up with a plan that works for everyone

Hello everyone! It's snowing here, and I don't like it. I don't think it should snow in October...so far today, protein bar and yogurt. I think I will have some soup for lunch.

Nancy, no gym for me today. I'm going at lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays, weather permitting. I hate it when I feel bloated!

Coleen, I'm glad you have any easy day!

Marisol, I really love the picture of that cute kitten. It makes me happy!

Brennie, I always stop weighing when I think I've gained, and that's always the worst time for me to stop (when I need to be most accountable.) Looks like you are back on track today!

I haven't mentioned anything because there's nothing to mention. He's made no attempt to contact me since Thursday night, which I am taking as a sign that we are no longer seeing each other. That's all I'm going to say here in case he's reading this board. But I am okay, and I will go on.

Evening!
easy day!

Rachel I am so so so sorry. You must be so upset. If I can help, lend an ear...anything....Im here

Solveig I did not give a reason ....it should have been "blonde signed up" it was just silly to join, pay and quit!

Nancy- my schedule is 'food and drink' heavy LOL....it is not glamorous at all. Its work. People dont get that. I go there to find new business and to promote the bank. Im usually alone walking into a room not knowing anyone...there are always drunk men who think its perfectly ok to ask for sex ....its a pain. There are only about 3 events each year that I enjoy because I see my favorite friends! I get to catch up and have a few cocktails and relax. One is coming up in 2 weeks!

Brennie- you can do this! How was your day?

Im tired. Lex is with Dad for dinner so Im doing a l/c wrap with DH

Rachel, you will move on and you will do so gracefully. You have. If this is really his decision, then it is his loss (and I hope he read that!!!) I am also sorry about the snow. Wow, that is early. So tomorrow is a gym day, but the weather does sound iffy. What are you having for dinner?

Colleen, that sounds anything but glamorous. I am glad that a fun one is coming up. How is your DH feeling about the time in MD? Is he one to discuss it or not? My DH is not much of a discusser. Ok, not a discusser at all.

Brennie, I will follow your lead and go weigh in this week as well...even though I don't want to. I have done okay so far today and will do better tomorrow since I don't cook dinner on Wednesday nights. I hope that the PMS hungries don't beat me Are you having chicken tonight? We are having fish for a change!!

My running buddy from Saturday night told me that there is another 5k right near my house on Sunday. It is the race for the cure. I think we will do it!!

I'm tired tonight for no reason at all The cats kept bugging me to play so that's what I did after paying the bills that had accumulated during my absence. Exciting evening

Beef ribs (leftovers) for lunch and dinner. I can never eat them too often

Rachel, I hope that your snow is short lived, as our early snow a couple of weeks back was. The winter is long enough during a normal year!

Nancy, so what's the secret to learning how to run? To just do it? Apparently is was fun as you are thinking about another one

Colleen, I know too well about those business dinners. With unknown people you have to try to "entertain." We normally end up talking work as that's generally the only thing we have in common.

Solveig, the secret was just to do it. I decided I was going to do it and I pushed through and did it. It was a great feeling of accomplishment and I thought I would do it again when my running pal suggested it. I don't aspire to go beyond the 5k. I don't aspire to go really fast. I am just glad to do what I did. I still think its boring and really hard on a body

Brennie, I have a new IL story!! I was trying to reach MIL to ask her a question about the condo we own with them and FIL kept saying she was out of town. I figured she was off helping her mom. Turns out she was taking her beloved granddaughter on college tour and took her to the college where DH and I went. I only found out when SIL called to ask if DH would write a recommendation for niece (we don't really even know her!!!) and SIL said it would be better if DH wrote it since he has had such a successful career (fill in the unsaid there!!!) I know it sounds petty...but it was strange that FIL would not say that's where she was. As for DH writing the letter...

Good Morning

I ate fine all day and then planned to have a protein shake for dinner and ate some ham that I made for DH and the girls. I can feel the sodium just puffing me out like a big, fat marshmallow. Oh well, I will bring my money and face the music. My 2 friends that go are skipping the meeting, that makes me want to skip even more but at this point I am forcing myself to go...who knows what I will do when it is time to get in the car and drive.

Solveig, what do your cats do to show you they want to play? I love cats but my guy is old and he doesn't play, he loves to snuggle and purr!

Rachel, sorry that I brought it up, I sent you a msg on fb in your inbox. We had some wet snow here when Colleen and Solveig got some but it did not accumulate, I agree that it is WAY too early for snow.

Nancy, I am not surprised about the IL story and once again I am sorry, I know how frustrating it can be. Wow, another race? I am so proud of you! I wish we could come watch and cheer you on!

Colleen, I know I can do it but I am letting too much stress freak me out and I am losing control. I need to do what Nancy did when she was overwhelmed with stress and work out, not eat!

Time to wake Ryen up...

Good Morning Little Ones,
My computer is still acting up so I need to make my post short and sweet.
Brennie, good luck today I admire your courage. You are a strong woman!
Colleen, where are you this morning? Have a stress free day
Nancy, I'm sorry about the IL's especially your SIL.. She sounds like she's jealous of you
Marisol, Spain next week. Are you packed? Make sure you take lots of pics. By the way, your son's kitten is adorable!
Rachel, even if Carlos sees this what a losss on his part. Keep smiling that pretty smile of yours
Have a good one Ladies

Good Morning

Brennie, I totally understand about the sodium making you feel like you are puffing up!! Hard as it may be to go and "face the music" this is probably the exact time that you need to go. She is there to help you...celebrate with you too....but help you in your plan. This week you feel as though it didn't work. She can help you with that. About the ILs, I said something to DH and he said none of that stuff bothered him. I busted out laughing at him. He is the one who has spoken directly to his parents about how they do things for one granddaughter and ignore the other grandkids....ugh.

Lynn, glad you could stop by! I hope your parents are both doing well. Has your dad had a date set for his surgery? I hope you are able to take care of yourself, too.

Waking up slowly this morning. Truth is, I don't feel very well. Just a cold, but it is making me feel blah!

Good Morning! Rain here but that's certainly preferable over snow.

Lynn, what's wrong with your computer? Or is it the internet connection? How frustrating.
I haven't packed yet for Spain. Actually, I haven't even unpacked from my last trip I need to check the weather too. I have been there several times but not this time of the year, I think.

Nancy, hope you feel better as the day go on. I have felt a cold coming on the last couple of mornings but have decided that it's probably just because I don't want to get out of bed Note, I'm not at all implying that is the case with you

Brennie, I wouldn't blame you for not going but as the others I think it would be good. New motivation?
My cats are very vocal when they want to play and they make me feel guilty as I'm gone so much. But they are a laid back breed and it was sure a lot more fun to play with my son's energetic kitten

Brennie, I think it's great that you are going to go because I would be tempted to skip it...and that would be the start of the slippery slope for me.

I have my gym bag packed to go work out over lunch. It's super cold here this morning with cloudy skies, but I don't think I will be driving on any ice. That's what scares me the most about the winter.

I need to get some coffee and edit some copy. Be back a bit later.

Where is Colleen today??

Brennie, did you go? How did it go?

Solveig, that probably is the case with me. Mysteriously, I begin to feel better as the day goes along! My kitty is also very clear about play time. I have a gash on my foot to prove it!! He is a little demanding when it comes to attention!

Workout done. I ate full fat yogurt with granola this morning. That was 1/3 of my daily points. Crud, I really, really wanted it. I will be extra good the rest of the day!!!
